Aliens: Colonial Marines shifted to a fall 2012 launch window
31
Despite those signs from Sega's abdomen and the worried look on its face, it seems like Aliens: Colonial Marines isn't bursting out of development onto retail shelves any time soon. The game will now arrive some time in "fall 2012," according to a statement released by Sega this evening, bumping it a full season away from its originally intended spring 2012 window.
We're also told that a fancy new trailer for the game will be arriving tomorrow, so, uh, hold onto your butts! Oh ... shoot ... wrong franchise. Ummm, get to the choppah? Sorry, we kinda exhausted our Aliens references in the first paragraph.

@Truant I feel the same way, I'm a huge fan of the Aliens universe but I was scared that it would get lost with games like ME3, Syndicate, and Ghost Recon. Now I just hope they make it early fall or as close to Halloween as possible to scare the crap out of people.

There's something missing to this game...so glad it is getting some more time for reworking.

@kentuckyfried Did you form that opinion from all those visits to the dev studio? If you have no idea what you're talking about, just don't post.

I watched the walkthru video that Randy Pitchford narrated. Wasn't impressed. I am sorry I have offended you and your family with my passing opinion.

LOl screw this game. It's been delayed so many times over like 5 years. I'm giving up on this one.

Does anyone even care about this game anymore? Not that it sounded interesting to begin with.

This picture its making me write a romance piece...
As the two lovers saw each other eye to eye on the cold metallic table they knew that one important question had to be asked...and answered. "Ooooh Brad why cant we be together? " Sheila said. "Oh babe we are so different...look at you and look at me" Brad said. Sheila was so hurt by that comment as she turned away from Brad she nearly decapitated him with her tail but Brad tried to...
wait...what the frak am I doing *throws water on face*

The work in process build was kind of boring and shows its age. Hopefully they can make it less choppy looking and give it a 2012 sheen.

Why isn't the WiiU logo there? Since by then the WiiU should be out and this game is coming out for the WiiU.

While I'm sad that I'll have to wait even longer, I'm glad they are not rushing the game out. I'd rather they took the extra months to clean it up then to drop a game that is not polished due to time constraints.

Would have been nice to release this around the same time as Prometheus.
We could have had an all-day Aleingasm.
