I had the rare chance to ask Jonathan Blow once where he drew inspiration for the creation of his games.
He basically told me "You'll understand, when you're older". Chris Hecker and Alex Neuse were also there - they gave full and detailed responses.
Has anyone else had similar experiences with this man? I've heard people call him pretentious before, and I'd like to not believe it, but it's a little challenging when your only experience seems to reinforce it.

I had to Google to see who this Jonathan Blow character was since he wasn't anyone I've heard of and I know my fair share of game devs. I can't say I'm surprised people say he's pretentious, since Braid and pretentiousness go hand-in-hand.
