I might if they can fix all of the issues that existed with the 2010 one. Getting an actual soundtrack instead of Linkin Park and random orchestral-rock hybrid themes from Iron Man would be a step in the right direction. Heck, making it feel like a Medal of Honor game instead of CoD would be an even better.

Not getting my hopes up, though. :(

@matrixman92 Considering I enjoyed the Medal of Honor's campaign very much I'll definitely be playing this. I think Danger Close created some really great moments in that game and I've played through it a few times. That said, I don't know if I'll be able to pay full price considering the probable length of the game. Unless what they show of the multiplayer really pulls me in I'll probably wait till it drops in price.

If the campaign is actually good this time... Maybe...

Other than that (or maybe a $20 sale like the first) I wont be.

@matrixman92 I liked the Campaign of MoH. It was different and felt more real than the campaigns of CoD and BF. The MP though, wasn't very good

@trickybuz93 The campaign was the most enjoyable FPS campaign I've ever played since Call of Duty 2. So I'll be picking it up for sure. But I doubt I'll bother to pick it up at launch since Battlefield 3 does everything thing I want from multiplayer and I don't feel like playing 60 bucks for a game I'd only half use.

A Tactical FPS 4/6 persons on each side. They already have a stellar cover system. Think GoW, but Fist Person and more 'realistic' bullet damage, something a like to CS or CoD2.

I'm getting it for the singleplayer/campaign. OffDutyGamers (military veteran gamers) helped with the singleplayer of the first game and are now helping with the sequel's one:

Seriously, I thought we were going to fight halitosis, or possibly our very feelings in the next MoH games. Sheesh.

I was hoping for a game set during the end of the Cold War, and your enemy is smallpox. That would be neat.

@jcar302 That's coming next year with BF 4 coming out 2014.

EA's going down the same route as Activision, although they're doing it with three different games

I hope so.
BF3 was ok, but the non destructable urban enviroment kinda sucked.

Leveling an entire map in BC2 was half the fun.

The campaign was fun to me. The bugs that made the game freeze sucked though. Especially the level where all the insurgents were rushing down the mountain at me. Anyway, the MP was irritating due to spawn kills, but otherwise pretty fun. I think the next one has an opportunity to make a solid game. The problem is, this genre and especially this setting, is getting repetitive. I think that is the hardest part to overcome. This game HAS to be really something in order to get people to buy it. It needs to be better than Battlefield at Battlefield gameplay, or better than COD at COD gameplay. If it isn't going to do that, it needs to be MOH and make MOH reason enough to get people to also buy this game too.

Took me a sec to realize that "Danger Close" is a company... and that the subtitle for the game was not, in fact "Warfighter is Danger Close" being the next MoH

Initially I wasn't a huge fan of MoH but lately I find myself going through and playing it (the campaign, not the horrid MP) again and again. I like the fact that you play mostly as special operators and some of the missions are based off real operations that happened in Afghanistan. I'm also a huge military buff and try to keep my pulse on what's currently going on in the war and with special forces, so obviously the game is more for people like me than your average gamer. Looking forward to the sequel - hopefully its more polished this time around.

I've played the game numerous times on both PS3 and PC and never experienced any freezing or game breaking bugs that so many people have complained about. Guess I was just lucky.

I don't care what anybody else says, I absolutely loved Medal of Honor. I loved everything about it. The single player was like an entire campaign worth of the coolest stealth missions from call of duty. I really enjoy the multiplayer as well, it was like a perfect fusion of battlefield and call of duty. I am really excited about this

Its so that they can have something to fight COD every year in the fall. The next Battlefield 4 or Bad Company 3 or whatever will come out 2013 to fight MW4.

I'm hoping a not too distant future game. Not totally Halo and not totally MW. A nice mix of realism and a nice mix of scifi.

@TheDarkWayne Yeah, but FB2 was designed with the next-gen (high-end PC hardware) in mind. It'll be used on launch titles for the next gen consoles. UE3, on the other hand, is approaching the end of it's cycle, with UE4 looming on the horizon.

Anyway, Frostbite 2 looks amazing, so no complaints here =)

The first game had my all time favorite campaign, but I hated the MP. I'm willing to pay the money for more of that campaign though, which offered a fair amount if replayability in and of itself.

I loved the first one, was one of the most authentic campaigns I've ever seen (with a little drama on the side of course). Also note the red dot sight on top of the ACOG... Wonder if that means we'll get to use CQB sights like that on scopes in game like they do in reality...

I only played the new one recently on PC after picking it up really cheap on Steam. I actually quite enjoyed the campaign but it was so short. My overall time was only just over 3 hours and I didn't really care to touch the multiplayer. The single player had some neat little touches like sliding (more games need sliding) and the learning from cover. I thought it had a good mix up of missions too. I enjoyed it for the price I payed but for $60 brand new, I would've been pissed.
