Nintendo announced a price drop for its 32GB Wii U console today, now down from $350 to $300. The price drop was part of a torrent of news from Nintendo, which announced a new handheld called the Nintendo 2DS and an early eShop availability for Wind Waker HD on September 20 – weeks ahead of its retail launch date on October 4.
The new, limited edition Wii U bundle includes:

· The Legend of Zelda™: The Wind Waker HD Wii U GamePad
· The Legend of Zelda™: The Wind Waker HD full game digital download
· The Legend of Zelda™: Hyrule Historia digital download
It doesn't stop there for The Legend of Zelda™: The Wind Waker HD fans. Exclusively at GameStop, customers can purchase a limited edition bundle including The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Walker game plus a ganondof figure, both available for pre-order at all GameStop stores and on www.GameStop.com beginning today. The Legend of Zelda™: The Wind Waker HD game will be on GameStop store shelves and at www.GameStop.com on October 4, 2013.
Nintendo also introduced today an all new Nintendo 2DS handheld system available in two colors, including blue and red. Both will launch alongside Pokemon X and Pokemon Y on October 12, 2013 for price of $129.99. The company also announced a $50 price decrease on all current Wii U deluxe bundles, moving the price from $349.99 to $299.99. The new price will go into effect on September 20, 2013.
