Downloadable content is a prized nugget we all not-so-secretly hope awaits us after taking any game home, but like the midday sun on a carton of fresh milk, it also has us spoiled. However, with Bizarre Creations now parking its ride in <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/11/15/reminder-bizarre-not-working-on-pgr5-working-on-new-racing-se/">Activision's garage</a>, the developer stated that it's closing the books on last year's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/pgr4"><em>Project Gotham Racing 4</em></a>, adding that it will not be releasing any more new content for the stylish Xbox 360 racer.<br /><br />According to <a href="http://www.bizarrecreations.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=30&amp;p=285029">a recent post</a> on Bizarre Creation's official forums by a dev calling himself "Ben," the studio has washed its hands of the game. "Bizarre Creations won't be adding anything more to <em>PGR4</em> in the future," he wrote. "We've completed the hand-over to Microsoft, so any further add-ons will come from them and not us I'm afraid." The news probably wouldn't sting so much had the last update not been so <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/02/08/pgr4-dlc-brings-new-cars-modes-achievements/">incredibly cool</a>, leaving us now waiting to see what else the British studio has up its racing sleeves.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/05/09/bizarre-creations-finished-with-pgr4-hands-dlc-duties-to-micros/">Bizarre Creations finished with PGR4, hands DLC duties to Microsoft</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 09 May 2008 02:00:00 EST. But then, we had a revelation: That's what it's like <em>every day</em> in countries that aren't America. We were so moved that we bought a red-white-and-blue T-shirt and six of Miller High Life to celebrate our appreciation for our homeland. Now, our patience has been rewarded, with the demo finally hitting Xbox Live.<br />

If you need more encouragement to check it out, you should know that Tycho from Penny Arcade <a href="http://www.penny-arcade.com/2008/01/18">said nice things</a> about it, which is good enough for us. Typically, the guys use their power to steer you towards the finer things, (unlike our power, used only to win fights in the comments section). But will you be joining <em>The Club</em>? Let us know below.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/01/22/the-club-demo-now-on-xbox-live/">The Club demo now on Xbox Live</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 22 Jan 2008 10:00:00 EST. Because clearly, a music game simply isn't complete until it can turn mild-mannered button pushers into gyrating vessels of awkwardness. Not that we mind -- we're quite eager to <em>stomp</em> our way through Bizarre Creations' fun rocket-based rhythmer again. In a recent <a href="http://www.bizarrecreations.com/article.php?article_id=5285">studio update</a>, Bizarre reveals a new Xbox Live Arcade title update for <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/boomboomrocket"><em>Boom Boom Rocket</em></a> has made its way through the certification gauntlet, bringing with it the following changes (the most important ones highlighted):<br />
<ul>
    <li>Guitar and dance pad peripheral support.<br /></li>
    <li>Japanese and Korean language support.</li>
    <li>Tweaked scoring system focusing only on accuracy.</li>
    <li>The huge loud "noise" which popped up occasionally on endurance mode is now gone.<br /> </li>
    <li>Occurrences of scores getting overwritten with a lower score when playing with 2 profiles signed in is now fixed.</li>
    <li>Display updates when viewing the game through a VGA cable.</li>
    <li>Friends leaderboard now shows extra information such as grade, accuracy, etc.</li>
    <li>Multiplayer endurance mode fix for player colors swapping sporadically.</li>
    <li><strong>Slightly bigger and better explosions</strong>.</li>
</ul>
Now if we could just get our arthritic hands on some new downloadable songs (actual <em>music</em> this time, please), we'll really see some fireworks.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3164202">1UP</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/11/07/boom-boom-rocket-update-adds-guitar-dance-pad-support/">Boom Boom Rocket update adds guitar, dance pad support</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 07 Nov 2007 20:45:00 EST. The trailer is very slick, showing off the cast of the arcade shooter. The characters run the gamut of generic badasses: there's the square-jawed Russian, the tough cop (gone bad?), the obstinate Irishman, and ... well, a crazy guy in a rain slicker. There's even a guy named -- we kid you not -- Killen. But what's a cool trailer without little gameplay? Nothing, that's what. So, we've included a gameplay trailer after the break. <em>The Club</em> is a little different from most 3rd person shooters, as its main focus is constant action. The faster you make your kills, the more your score multiplier increases. Essentially, it's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/04/the-club-3rd-person-geo-wars-on-steroids/">3rd person <em>Geometry Wars</em> on steroids</a>. With <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/09/26/activision-pockets-project-gotham-dev-bizarre-creations/">Activision gobbling</a> up <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/ProjectGothamRacing/">Project Gotham Racing</a> </em>developer Bizarre Creations, the future of the Microsoft's racing series seems to have a lot of question marks attached. Interestingly, lead designer Ged Talbert has already been talking about what they could do to improve on the series, <a href="http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=172077">telling CVG</a>, "Obviously <em>Gotham 4</em>'s about to come out and we're really happy with it, but behind the scenes we've already started ripping our game to pieces. We know where we failed in certain areas."<br /><br />Bizarre's going to be popping out a new racing IP for Activision now, so we'll have to wait and see if the improvements Talbert wants will be implemented in <em>PGR 5</em>, or in some new series. That said, are we the only ones who are a bit more worried about the future of Bizarre's other property, <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/GeometryWars/">Geometry Wars</a></em>? Traditionally, it's been a part of <em>PGR</em>, so will it be in someone else's hands too?<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/09/28/project-gotham-racings-future-in-flux/">Project Gotham Racing's future in flux</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 28 Sep 2007 13:30:00 EST. The first Bizarre Creations game to be published under Activision isn't expected until 2009. In the meantime, Bizarre Creations will complete work on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/pgr4"><em>Project Gotham Racing 4</em></a> for Microsoft and <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/theclub">The Club</a> </em>for Sega. It's always difficult to see an independent developer snapped up by a big publisher, though Bizarre Creations is quick to allay the fears of fans. A <a href="http://www.bizarrecreations.com/article.php?article_id=5277">blog post</a> on the Bizarre Creations website promises that Activision will have a "hands off" relationship with the company and that all the teams will remain intact. As the post puts it, "We won't become Activision Liverpool or anything like that." Le's hope not. We all know <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/10/bioshock-goes-gold-irrational-games-becomes-2k-boston-2k-aust/">what happened to Irrational</a>.<br /><br />So, Activision has <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/09/26/sex-pistols-reunite-for-guitar-hero-iii/">reunited the Sex Pistols</a> and purchased Bizarre Creations. Independent UK developer Bizarre Creations of <em>Project Gotham Racing</em> and <em>Geometry Wars</em> fame is now the property of Activision following an acquisition announcement this morning, making the studio one of Activision's wholly owned subsidiaries. The move by Activision follows <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/05/10/red-octanes-rags-to-riches-story-ends-in-acquisition/">last year's purchase</a> of <em>Guitar Hero</em> publisher Red Octane, and while financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, Activision notes that its first Bizarre Creations game will not be released until sometime following fiscal 2009. <br /><br />That said, Bizarre Creations will still release its visceral shooter <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/theclub/">The Club</a> </em>as an indie for publisher Sega this February for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The upcoming <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/pgr4/"><em>Project Gotham Racing 4</em></a> will be the studio's final game for Microsoft.<br /><br />While it's always somewhat disheartening to see once independent developers sapped up like this, in some ways it's inevitable, especially given the high costs associated with console game development. Still, according to <a href="http://www.bizarrecreations.com/article.php?article_id=5277">a blog post</a> on Bizarre Creations' website, Activision's ownership will be "hands off," leaving creative control in the studio's capable hands, for now at least. In addition, the post adds that the company will have "absolutely no redundancies," no doubt causing a sigh of relief from those in the trenches.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/09/26/activision-pockets-project-gotham-dev-bizarre-creations/">Activision pockets Project Gotham dev Bizarre Creations</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 26 Sep 2007 12:29:00 EST. Do you think a lean, green electric sports car can take on a noisy gas-guzzler? In <a href="http://www.bizarrecreations.com/article.php?article_id=5271">discussing the invitationals</a> planned for <em>Project Gotham Racing 4</em>, developer Bizarre Creations used "Electric vs. Petrol Showdown" as one example, where you in the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tesla_Roadster">Tesla Roadster</a> face off against a <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferrari_Testarossa">Ferrari Testarossa</a>.<br /><br />Can full, unadulterated speed be met without exhuming fossil fuels? It should make for a fun, philosophical monologue while you maneuver around corners. We do warn you, though, that beating the Ferrari in a race may lead to an excess in <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smug_Alert!">smug emissions</a>. <br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.autobloggreen.com/2007/09/18/project-gotham-racing-4-to-feature-an-electric-vs-petrol-showd/">AutoblogGreen</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/09/19/pgr4-sets-virtual-stage-for-electric-vs-petrol-showdown/">PGR4 sets virtual stage for electric vs. petrol showdown</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 19 Sep 2007 16:25:00 EST. Part of the game's invitational series of races, the challenge is called "Electric Vs Petrol Showdown" and allows players to "take the wheel of a two-seater, silent, electric sportscar (the <a href="http://www.teslamotors.com/">Tesla Roadster</a>) and face-off against a gas-guzzling, noisy, mean machine (the Ferrari Testarossa)." For those that don't know, the Tesla Roadster is reportedly a damned impressive piece of kit, <a href="http://www.teslamotors.com/performance/perf_specs.php">boasting</a> the ability to go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in about 4 seconds. The environmentally friendly super car can also travel 200 miles on a single battery charge. The best part, thanks to <em>PGR4</em>, is that you won't have to spend <a href="http://www.teslamotors.com/buy/buyPage1.php">$98,000</a> (base price, mind you) to try one out.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.autobloggreen.com/2007/09/18/project-gotham-racing-4-to-feature-an-electric-vs-petrol-showd/">AutoblogGreen</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/09/18/pgr4-features-eco-friendly-race-mode/">PGR4 features eco-friendly race mode</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 18 Sep 2007 17:30:00 EST. A demo from Bizarre Creations' <em>Project Gotham Racing 4 </em>should be hitting Xbox Live soon, according to the developer (via <a href="http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=83508">Eurogamer</a>). In addition to five playable vehicles (cars and bikes) that presumably will be in the full game, there will be an Arcade mode exclusive to the demo set in Macau, featuring exclusive challenges.<br />We're a bit perplexed about the exclusive content. If it's good, why not include it in the full game. Conversely, if the content is not good, or not on par with the full game, why use it to promote the title?<br /><br />A time trial for Nurburgring Snow will also be in the demo. <em>Project Gotham Racing 4 </em>(with <em>Geometry Wars: Waves</em>) is due out October 2 in North America.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/09/18/pgr4-demo-to-have-exclusive-content/">PGR4 demo to have exclusive content</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 18 Sep 2007 12:57:00 EST. Learning from their <em>PGR 3</em> days, Bizarre opted to make <em>PGR 4</em>'s achievements a little more varied, less focused on difficult to obtain achievements and more fun in general. Our favorites include "Buy an Achievement", "Back it Up!" and "Beat Bizarre" where you have to beat a member of the Bizarre Creations dev team in an online game or someone who has already done so. When Bizarre Creations is not <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/pgr">driving fast cars</a> or <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/geometrywars">pulverizing polygons</a>, the Liverpool-based developer likes to blast bullets at a blistering rate with little regard for their surroundings. According to a press release from publisher Sega, their incoming shoot 'em up <em>The Club</em> will ship this February for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, hopefully just in time for Valentine's Day.<br />
<br />
In the meantime, check out <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/13/joystiq-impressions-the-club/">our impressions</a> of the title from E3. And speaking of shoot 'em ups, we hear <a href="http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/shoot_em_up/">Clive Owen's new film</a> has an action sequence or two.<br />

First off, Bizzare has added a few new photo filters and effects including tunnel, vehicle blur and an odd little filter that turns your photo into a 3D image when using a pair of red / blue glasses. Wicked odd, yet utterly nifty. The other Photo Mode improvements come from how a racer's photos will be shared with the rest of the <em>PGR 4</em> community. Using <em>PGR</em> on Demand, gamers will be able to upload their photos, search others, share and rate eachother's photos with ease. It's like a mini<em> PGR 4</em> Flickr account.<br /><br />There's no denying that Bizarre is focusing on creating more of a tight knit <em>PGR</em> community this time around and with the enhanced Photo Mode options we think they're headed on the right track (pun intended). Also, don't forget to check out <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/gamerscore/sets/72157601794889507/">preview photos</a> of the types of images you'll be able capture in <em>PGR 4</em> after the break.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/09/07/new-photo-mode-features-in-pgr-4/">New Photo Mode features in PGR 4</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 07 Sep 2007 13:15:00 EST. The new geometry shooter will be called <em>Geometry Wars: Waves</em> and will not be available on the XBLA like it's older brother <em>Retro Evolved</em>, instead it'll stay attached to <em>PGR4</em> for the long run. Bizarre Creations also mentioned that the new <em>Waves</em> is based off of <em>Retro Evolved</em> and is not officially considered to be the next game in the series. Whatever that may entail or mean, we know that we're getting a new <em>Geometry Wars</em> on October 2nd. Speaking to <a href="http://www.pro-g.co.uk/news/23-08-2007-6289.html">Pro-G</a> at the Leipzig Games Convention, Bizarre Creations has revealed that a new <em>Geometry Wars</em> game will be featured in October's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/23/project-gotham-racing-4-releases-oct-2-in-us-oct-12-in-europe/"><em>Project Gotham Racing 4</em></a>. Dubbed "<em>Geometry Wars: Waves</em>," the shape shooter will be an exclusive <em>Project Gotham</em> bonus and unlike <em>Retro Evolved</em>, won't be sold on<a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/xbla"> Xbox Live Arcade</a>. That makes for an excellent bonus for racing fans, but a $60 investment for those just hoping to exact revenge on the sneaky green square.<br /><br />Not to worry though, as Bizarre also stated that <em>Wave</em>s is based on <em>Retro Evolved</em> and not a "true" sequel as such. Alternatively, you can be sucked in by the gravity wells of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/15/joystiq-impressions-geometry-wars-galaxies/"><em>Geometry Wars: Galaxies</em></a>, out this Fall on DS and Wii.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/23/geometry-wars-returns-in-project-gotham-racing-4/">Geometry Wars returning in Project Gotham Racing 4</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 23 Aug 2007 17:55:00 EST. To sweeten the deal, the also announced some more vehicles in the game, both those with two wheels and four. Personal favorites at X3F Towers in the most recent bunch include the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ariel_Atom">Ariel Atom 300 Supercharged</a>, making a return since being introduced in <em>PGR2</em>, and getting "High Def'd" in <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/PGR3/" style="font-style: italic;">PGR3</a>. Since it would be boring to use some stock <span style="font-style: italic;">PGR4</span> logo as the image for the post, we're grabbing the Ariel's segment from Top Gear and spreading the love. Full list of announced vehicles after the break.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/23/pgr4s-rubber-hits-the-road-october-2nd/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>PGR4's rubber hits the road October 2nd</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/23/pgr4s-rubber-hits-the-road-october-2nd/">PGR4's rubber hits the road October 2nd</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 23 Aug 2007 17:00:00 EST. Those hoping to steer seductively shaped hunks of metal through rain and snow should be pleased to note that <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/pgr4"><em>Project Gotham Racing 4</em></a> is scheduled for release on <a href="http://gamerscoreblog.com/team/archive/2007/08/23/pgr4updateaug23.aspx">October 2nd</a> in America and <a href="http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/815/815032p1.html">October 12th</a> in Europe. Those unsure of the Xbox 360 racer's selling points should simply read the first sentence again, noting that said hunks of metal may constitute either cars or motorcycles. <br /><br />Though initially aimed for a September release, the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/02/bizarre-clarifies-dvd-limitations-remark/">DVD-loving</a> folks at Bizarre Creations explain that today's two-day delay provides them with enough time to put "the finishing touches on the game to <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/21/oops-ferrari-crashes-while-filming-pgr4-ad/">ensure it crosses the finish line</a> at retail as the best title yet in the '<span style="font-style: italic;">PGR</span>' racing franchise." If you're curious as to what it is you'll be racing, peek past the break to see a list of newly unveiled in-game vehicles. <br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/pgr4-xbox-360/">PGR4 (Xbox 360)</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/pgr4-xbox-360/#304065"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/pgr4june15th_16_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/pgr4-xbox-360/#304064"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/pgr4june11th_10-gm_tvr_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/pgr4-xbox-360/#304063"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/pgr4_may4_2007_01_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/pgr4-xbox-360/#304062"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/pgr4_june22_46_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/pgr4-xbox-360/#304061"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/pgr4_quebec_10_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/project-gotham-racing-4-motorcycles/">Project Gotham Racing 4 motorcycles</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/project-gotham-racing-4-motorcycles/#305704"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/pgrbike12_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/project-gotham-racing-4-motorcycles/#305703"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/pgrbike11_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/project-gotham-racing-4-motorcycles/#305702"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/pgrbike10_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/project-gotham-racing-4-motorcycles/#305701"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/pgrbike09_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/project-gotham-racing-4-motorcycles/#305700"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/pgrbike08_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/23/project-gotham-racing-4-releases-oct-2-in-us-oct-12-in-europe/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Project Gotham Racing 4 releases Oct. 2 in US, Oct. 12 in Europe</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/23/project-gotham-racing-4-releases-oct-2-in-us-oct-12-in-europe/">Project Gotham Racing 4 releases Oct. 2 in US, Oct. 12 in Europe</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 23 Aug 2007 12:55:00 EST. When asked about the series' future, Ward stated that even though the franchise is making its way onto other platforms (<em>Geometry Wars Galaxies</em> on the Wii and <em>Geometry Wars Mobile</em> on cells) that they aren't ignoring the Xbox 360 saying that "<em>there's a lot going on, but that doesn't mean we've forgotten about the Xbox 360 ...</em>". Official confirmation of <em>Geometry Wars 2</em> on the 360? Not so much. But we're nearly guaranteeing that it will happen in the near future. But today <a href="http://www.bizarrecreations.com/article.php?article_id=5257">Bizarre</a> put such evil rumors to rest telling everyone that no, they have not been limited by DVD for <em>PGR 4</em> in the slightest.<br /><br />Commenting on the issue, they said that the facts got spun out of control when certain fanboys commented on the day/night feature stating that there was no room on the DVD to hold all the textures for both day and night in the game. Instead, Bizarre says that not only are they NOT constrained by the DVD format, but they actually opted for transitioning day/night textures in the game instead of two sets of "fixed" textures.<br /><br />So, <em>PGR 4</em> was not nor ever has been limited by DVD's storage capacity, it was never an issue and <em>PGR</em> fans will be treated to transitioning day/night textures as proof. Case closed.<br /><br />[Thanks, IncredibleBulk92]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/01/rumors-of-pgr-4-being-limited-by-dvd-are-false/">Rumors of PGR 4 being limited by DVD are false</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 01 Aug 2007 16:30:00 EST. A complete list of all the locations is viewable after the break, but highlights from the ten location set include Las Vegas (sin city baby!), Quebec (Canada in the house), and Macau, China (China FTW!). Bizarre also talks about "racification" and the subtle changes they made to <em>PGR 4</em> tracks that make them oh-so-sweet. We're sure Bizarre Creations -- makers of <em>PGR4</em> -- don't want to make liars out of Microsoft. That said, Bizarre's business director, Brian Woodhouse, admits they may have to do just that. In a recent press briefing during <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/e307">E3</a>, Woodhouse told <a href="http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=80089">Eurogamer</a> that <em>PGR4</em> would not be rushed (something he admits happened to <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/pgr3"><em>PGR3</em></a>). "This one," said Woodhouse, "we're not letting go 'til it's done." Woodhouse's comments were directed towards the rather unbalanced difficulty of <em>PGR3</em>. We can tell you from firsthand experience, the game <em>looks</em> amazing. If Bizarre needs a little time to make it perfect, we say let 'em have it.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/20/bizarre-pgr4-not-out-til-its-done/">Bizarre: PGR4 not out "'til it's done."</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 20 Jul 2007 13:30:00 EST. Bizarre Creation's next big title, <em>Project Gotham Racing</em> notwithstanding, is <em>The Club</em>, a pretty over-the-shoulder shooter with an arcade twist. Don't worry about a story: each level takes approximately five minutes to finish, and the point of the game is to achieve higher scores.<br />
<br />
We got a chance to try out the prison level. The pace is brisk and aiming is easy. Where the challenge is going to lie is maintaining a combo multiplier, which drops when you miss a shot. You can also increase the multiplier by shooting skull signs. In our initial run through, we only found two skulls, meaning we'll have a lot more exploration to do upon its release. Blue barrels cause big explosions and major points, which is a plus. <br />
<br />
The game is challenging enough and we did have enough near death experiences. We tried easy mode, meaning health packs are plentiful, but the other difficulty level reportedly ramps up noticeably. Each of the eight levels have six to eight game modes each, and each one has its own target score you need to earn a medal, dubbed "bullets." Four-player split screen and deathmatch will be available in the final game. The point of this game was quick, fun experiences. We're looking forward to this game when it releases early 2008 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.<br />

The game will include manufacturers Honda, Ducati, and Suzuki for motorcycles, which can race alongside cars, of which there are over 120. When riding the motorcycle, you can pull some fancy tricks, wheelies, endos and taunting maneuvers. On the Live side of things, for the first time, gamers will be able to share photos and videos with what's called "PGR On Demand". We can't wait to get some hands on time in the coming days.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/11/pgr4s-motorcycles-expanded-upon/">PGR4's motorcycles expanded upon</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 11 Jul 2007 07:00:00 EST. Along with this revelation comes a load of new screenshots. The shots show off some particularly nice motorcycle and rider models. Bizarre has also revealed that motorcycles will be capable of lots of kudos earning tricks that cars naturally can't do. These will be accomplished with a new "Stunt button" that initiates tricks. Never fear though, if you hate the idea of motorbikes, they are not mandatory. If cars are your thing, <em>PGR4</em> still has you covered. Check out a gallery of the new <em>PGR 4</em> motorcycles below.<br /> <br /> [Via <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/10/project-gotham-racing-4-loses-two-wheels-gains-bikes/">Joystiq</a>]<br /><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/10/bizarre-talks-up-pgr4-motorcycles/">Bizarre talks up PGR4 motorcycles</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 10 Jul 2007 17:00:00 EST. Peanut butter and jelly.<br />Cookies and milk.<br />Cars and bikes.<br /><br />Finally, <em>Project Gotham Racing 4</em> brings two great tastes together. In a first for the franchise, the upcoming Xbox 360 racer will allow players to use both cars <em>and</em> bikes in the same race. <a href="http://www.bizarrecreations.com/article.php?article_id=5250">Bizarre Creations</a> is promising the same level of visual fidelity in the bikes as in the cars -- looking at the new screenshots released today, we're also equally impressed by the racer character models.<br /><br />A new "Stunt button" will allow players to perform a "crazy move" that will earn the player the series' trademark Kudos. While some may find this move to be controversial, Bizarre Creations notes that the game "won't force you to ride bikes if you don't want to." Regardless, they think players are willing to try something new: "we expect 99% of players to take the bikes out just as frequently as the cars!"<br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/project-gotham-racing-4-motorcycles/">Project Gotham Racing 4 motorcycles</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/project-gotham-racing-4-motorcycles/#305704"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/pgrbike12_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/project-gotham-racing-4-motorcycles/#305703"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/pgrbike11_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/project-gotham-racing-4-motorcycles/#305702"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/pgrbike10_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/project-gotham-racing-4-motorcycles/#305701"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/pgrbike09_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/project-gotham-racing-4-motorcycles/#305700"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2007/07/pgrbike08_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/10/project-gotham-racing-4-loses-two-wheels-gains-bikes/">Project Gotham Racing 4 loses two wheels, gains bikes</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 10 Jul 2007 12:22:00 EST. The specifics like price and release date are still unknown, but what we do know is that the DLC will include five new songs. Which new songs? Well, that also has yet to be confirmed, but they did hint that the new tracks will be harder and should pose a challenge to even the most experienced<em> Boom Boom Rocketers</em>. We'll be sure to keep our ears open and our eyes peeled for any new info that heads our way concerning the new <em>Boom Boom Rocket</em> DLC. It's quite the interesting choice for box art as we're on the fence about the design. But if you look closer you'll see something that's very interesting. Behind the <em>PGR 4</em> logo is the reflection of a motorcycle blazing past the car. Does this mean that motorcycles will be drivable in the fourth edition of the <em>PGR</em> franchise and is this Bizarre's big exciting announcement? We aren't sure, but we'd be liars if we didn't say that we're a little uneasy about including motorcycles in our <em>PGR</em> franchise. Here's to hoping Bizarre Creations knows what they're doing.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/03/pgr-4-box-art-hints-at-motorcycle-madness/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>PGR 4 box art hints at motorcycle madness</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/07/03/pgr-4-box-art-hints-at-motorcycle-madness/">PGR 4 box art hints at motorcycle madness</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 03 Jul 2007 15:15:00 EST. Those hoping to engage in wanton shape genocide without a console's involvement can now look towards Valve's online game distribution service, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/Steam/">Steam</a>, now <a href="http://www.steamgames.com/v/index.php?area=news&amp;id=1085&amp;cc=ZA">hosting a Windows XP version</a> of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/geometrywars"><em>Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved</em></a>. Developed by Bizarre Creations and considered by many to be the Xbox 360's first must-have game, <em>Geometry Wars</em> is being offered at an introductory price of $2.50, half that of its 2005 <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/03/16/geometry-wars-supposed-to-be-free/">"supposed to be free"</a> launch price. The game will be shifted to $3.95 starting June 22.<br />
<br />
If Steam isn't your thing either, perhaps this holiday season's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/26/geometry-wars-wii-ds-details-emerge/"><em>Geometry Wars: Galaxies</em></a> on the Wii and DS will be enough to enlist you in the fight against circles and diamonds. Failing that, we'll have to conclude that you're one of them -- <em>a total square</em>.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/06/18/geometry-wars-xp-debuts-on-steam/">Geometry Wars XP debuts on Steam</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 18 Jun 2007 22:55:00 EST. Bizarre Creations released the second weather video today making it quite obvious that the team really cares about dynamic weather and is doing a fine job with the whole concept. They also announced two more locations (Nurburgring, as seen in the video, and Quebec) which is four (Shanghai and St. Petersburg were previously announced) of the ten locations we'll be seeing in the game. The press release also confirmed six vehicles as well as stating that <em>PGR 4</em> will be "<em>speeding its way onto store shelves this fall</em>" ... yes, this fall. Full press release after the break and be sure to race on over to <a href="http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/796/796667p1.html">IGN</a> where they talk with Bizarre's community lead about the weather in <em>PGR 4</em>. </a></center>Coming our way from the latest issue of Nintendo Power is word that Bizarre Creations' Xbox Live Arcade-defining hit <em>Geometry Wars</em> will be gracing the Wii and DS. The title, which will feature the Evolved and Retro modes of its Xbox 360 counterpart, is also to have an "extensive single-player campaign." No word on whether the game will be offered via download or sold in boxed retail form, so be sure to keep an eye on DS Fanboy for further news as it develops.<br />

Humanity's vendetta against simple (and notably <em>evil</em>) geometric shapes is set to continue its expansion beyond the humble beginnings as a bonus in <em>Project Gotham Racing</em>. <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/xbla">Xbox Live Arcade</a>, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/01/08/top-xbla-title-geometry-wars-headed-to-pc/">Vista</a> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/11/30/geometry-wars-dumbed-down-for-celly-release/">mobile phones</a> now find themselves joined in the war by the Wii and DS, at least if the July issue of <em>Nintendo Power</em> is to be believed. A blurb in the magazine (via <a href="http://buttonbasher.wordpress.com/2007/05/21/geometry-wars-galaxies-for-wii-and-ds/trackback/">Buttonbasher</a>) asserts that <em>Geometry Wars: Galaxies</em> will be arriving on both Nintendo platforms thanks to the efforts of "the dev team responsible for <em>Battalion War</em>s." <br />
<br />
That would imply the involvement of the UK's Kuju Entertainment, which is apparently hard at work grafting "an extensive single-player campaign" onto the game's frantic combat. Of course, we fully expect a gripping and operatic storyline to go with it, something along the lines of an intergalactic <em>mathemagician</em> attempting to <em>tri-strangulate</em> vital supply route coordinates. Alas, our expectations are oft set too high. A multiplayer mode and prior versions of <em>Geometry Wars</em> are also said to be included in both packages, expected to materialize this Fall. <br />
<br />
It probably wouldn't be absurd to expect a new <em>Geometry Wars</em> game alongside Bizarre's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/projectgothamracing4"><em>Project Gotham Racing 4</em></a> either.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/21/geometry-wars-galaxies-shooting-for-wii-ds/">Geometry Wars: Galaxies shooting for Wii, DS</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 21 May 2007 21:25:00 EST. The truth is though, this <em>is</em> madness. First, <em>PGR3</em> was used <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/01/25/pgr3-image-used-to-promote-gran-turismo-hd/"><em>by Sony</em></a> to promote a trailer for <em>Gran Turismo HD</em>, then it was <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/17/deja-vu-pgr3-image-used-to-promote-sony/">used again</a> by Kia for a PS3 promotion. This time the offending publication is from Media Markt, one of Europe's largest electronics store chains, which overlays a PS3 on top of <a href="http://www.bizarreonline.net/games_img/pgr3/pgr310.jpg">this image</a> from <em>PGR3</em>. In an ironic twist, the article in question is apparently about the Playstation 3's future.<br /><br />At this rate, we'll be seeing <em>PGR3</em> images in the next ad for <a href="http://playstation.joystiq.com/tag/ratchetandclank"><em>Ratchet &amp; Clank</em></a>.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/21/third-pgr3-ps3-mix-up-demands-300-joke/">Third PGR3/PS3 mix-up demands 300 joke</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 21 May 2007 09:30:00 EST. The <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/01/25/sony-site-confuses-gt-hd-with-pgr3/">first time</a> was amusing, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/17/pgr-screenshot-used-to-promote-ps3-again/">the second time</a> was embarrassing, but the third time ... wait, <em>three</em> times? Apparently Dutch advertisers have the same problem in keeping <em>Project Gotham Racing 3</em> and <em>Gran Turismo: HD</em> separate. A Mediamarkt magazine published a PS3 article and emblazoned the 2-page spread with the infamous <a href="http://xbox.joystiq.com/2006/01/09/project-gotham-racing-3-demo-in-the-marketplace/"><em>PGR3</em> Saleen</a> picture, the same one used in advertisements and promo shots when the game first came out in Fall of 2006.<br /> <br />In case you forgot what <em>Gran Turismo: HD</em> looks like, feel free to click <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/07/gran-turismo-hd-screenshots-vs-real-life/">here</a> or <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/04/30/new-gran-turismo-hd-footage-to-leave-you-breathless/">here</a> for some recent coverage. In case you forgot what <em>PGR3</em> looks like, stay tuned for more <em>Gran Turismo: HD</em> coverage. As press coverage ramps up, chances are good someone will slather yet another <em>PGR3</em> shot in error.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/18/seriously-project-gotham-racing-3-is-not-a-ps3-game/">Joystiq</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/19/pgr3-scores-a-hat-trick-with-sony-advertisements/">PGR3 scores a hat trick with Sony advertisements</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sat, 19 May 2007 13:00:00 EST. Well, it's happened again, though Sony likely isn't at fault. A KIA <a href="http://www.kia.es/ps3/">website ad</a> used an image of a car from <em>PGR3</em> which alternated with the real version the same car. Making this even funnier is the Playstation 3 branding all over the screen. As <a href="http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=164169">CVG</a> notes, it was more likely someone at KIA who made the mistake, not Sony. Still, the irony of using an Xbox 360 game to promote the graphical realism of the PS3 is just too good. The ad has since been changed, but you can see the offending image (including the telltale license plate) above.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=164169">CVG</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/17/deja-vu-pgr3-image-used-to-promote-sony/">Déjà vu: PGR3 image used to promote Sony</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 17 May 2007 14:30:00 EST. Thick and visceral, <em>The Club</em> is all about head-shots and body count. Nick Davies, Bizarre Creations design manager, says "it's everything that <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/01/25/new-splinter-cell-double-agent-screens-impress/"><em>Splinter Cell</em></a> and <em>Gears of War</em> isn't." And boy, he isn't kidding. Wearing a bullet-proof vest, the game-play demonstration showed an on-screen character running directly towards baddies and firing multiple rounds. There is no ducking for cover here, and certainly no stealth. What sets the game apart is its implementation of a combo system where points are multiplied with head-shots, explosions and all varieties of interesting kills. In order to keep you focused on the task at hand, the combo meter begins to drain between gaps in the killing, so best to head towards large occupied rooms. In addition to the details gathered on our <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/04/13/welcome-to-the-club-may-i-take-your-coat-and-life/">last look</a> at <em>The Club</em>, it seems levels are broken up in pieces, allowing you to tackle these "bite-sized challenges" in any order you'd like, one at a time. <br />
<br />
There is something strangle fun and yet, sickening about the game I can't quite put a finger on. Nevertheless, take a gander at more details of the quick preview and share with us your opinions. Is this a game that will be on your radar? Or are you sick and tired of shooters and yearn for more <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/03/31/super-rub-a-dub-youre-the-one/">non-violent gaming</a>?<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/10/the-club-excels-with-killing-spree-combos/">The Club excels with killing spree combos</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 10 May 2007 20:00:00 EST. The coveted buzzword adds a <span style="font-style: italic;">Hemi</span>-like boost to <span style="font-style: italic;">Project Gotham Racing 4's</span> newly announced gameplay element: a weather system -- a <em>dynamic</em> weather system. Wipe out as you power around a corner into a rare Shanghai snow storm, or get pounded by a sudden downpour on your last lap through St. Petersburg. Expect the unexpected. That's <span style="text-decoration: line-through;">next-gen</span>, <span style="font-style: italic;">er</span>, dynamic.<br /><br />Of course, the stakes are higher while competing in the new career mode. As you act a fool, earning Kudos and dedicated fans along the way, you'll have to balance an addiction to flair with the unsettling fear that a freak weather occurrence could cut short your days of thunder<span style="font-style: italic;">-less</span> glory. That or the "new" AI (the "dynamic" adjective was already taken) will just own your ass -- in style. <a href="http://www.next-gen.biz/index.php?option=com_content&amp;task=view&amp;id=5438&amp;Itemid=2">Next Gen</a> recently took a long look at <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/BizarreCreations/">Bizarre Creations'</a> <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/TheClub/">The Club</a>.</em> Touched on briefly before, <em>The Club</em> is a 3rd person action shooter being published by SEGA. We imagine many fanboys are already thinking that the Xbox 360 has enough 3rd person shooters as is, but <em>The Club</em> looks to offer something different. Yeah, we've heard that before, but Bizarre looks like they're set to deliver.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/04/the-club-3rd-person-geo-wars-on-steroids/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>The Club: 3rd person Geo Wars on steroids</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/04/the-club-3rd-person-geo-wars-on-steroids/">The Club: 3rd person Geo Wars on steroids</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 04 May 2007 15:35:00 EST.
