Thanks to the folks at <a href="http://www.wiili.org/index.php/Main_Page">WiiLi.org</a> and Darwiin Remote, now we've got videos of folks "naviigating" (couldn't resist) the streets of Azeroth. Or video, at least, singular, but just give it time. <br /><br /><a href="http://www.wiili.org/index.php/DarwiinRemote">Darwiin Remote</a> interfaces the Wiimote with Mac OSX for real point and click action. See this nifty app doing its thing after the jump.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/12/20/wiimote-as-wow-controller/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Wiimote as WoW controller</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/12/20/wiimote-as-wow-controller/">Wiimote as WoW controller</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 20 Dec 2006 08:00:00 EST. (<a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/12/04/halo-3-starry-night-commercial/">Go here</a> if you're looking for that <span style="font-style: italic;">other</span> video.) The Bluetooth connection uses the freely available <a href="http://www.wiili.org/GlovePIE">GlovePIE</a> to make sense of the movements; download the software to try it out at home.<br /><br />We're excited about the hacking and modding cultural movement; it seems bigger than ever. Hats off to the <a href="http://wiili.org">Wiili</a> guys and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/12/04/devhook-now-emulating-psp-3-01-firmware/">anyone else</a> who adds unintended features to our consoles.<br /><br />See the video after the break.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/12/05/todays-hottest-game-video-wiimote-on-windows/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Today's hottest game video: Wiimote on Windows</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/12/05/todays-hottest-game-video-wiimote-on-windows/">Today's hottest game video: Wiimote on Windows</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 05 Dec 2006 01:00:00 EST.
