 Next month's Guitar Hero 5 and Band Hero DLC should satisfy would-be rockers of all types, offering an eclectic mix of -- oh, there's totally some Flogging Molly! Sorry, we just had to get that out of our system, because St. Patrick's Day is next month and because, man, Flogging Molly is totally awesome.

There are four distinct track packs coming next month, featuring OK Go, Blink-182, the aforementioned Molly Floggers and an '80s track pack -- because nothing says March like a dusty old denim jacket with the sleeves cut off and some Night Ranger.

We've known for quite some time that Queen DLC was to grace Rock Band Weekly. Yes, we've dubbed it the "All The Good Ones Except for Bohemian Rhapsody" Track Pack, but that doesn't make the offering any less exciting. Next week's update will have living-room bands cringe as their respective vocalists attempt with all their might to sing like Freddie Mercury. Then again, if the kids of Glee can sing "Somebody to Love" together, then maybe everyone in the band should pitch in.

Activision has revealed the January line-up of downloadable content for Guitar Hero World Tour will be fronted by Mancunian professional scowlers Oasis. On January 29, the eight tracks from 2008 album "Dig Out Your Soul" that haven't already appeared as World Tour DLC will be yours to download.* Other than that, we'll be getting various themed weeks: one on country music, one with Australian bands, and one based on, um, the works of Travis Barker.

* INCOMING: Wii Fanboy opinion on modern music to show we are 'down with the kids': "Dig Out Your Soul" is probably their best album since 1995 -- not difficult to believe, because they've recorded some real nonsense since then.

Earlier this week it was revealed that Presidents of the USA should be available the week of Nov. 4, but for all we know there may be more tracks added -- as has been the trend lately. It's the last train to "Rock"sville and I'll meet you at the station. This week's Rock Band downloadable content is all about high energy songs. Although Sweet is sweet, and you should feel free to play All The Small Things while naked, the real stand-out this week is The Monkees' Last Train to Clarksville. Not only will a new generation actually learn the lyrics past the first line, but it's a really, really, fun song to play with a group of friends over. It was playable at Harmonix when we visited them in November, which gives a good idea of how on-the-ball they are with the DLC.
