A few NeoGAFfers are reporting that their local Target stores have started clearing out the excellent Ghost Squad for around ten bucks. That's terrible news for Sega, and awesome news for you. To put it bluntly: holy crap go buy the game. You can use the (ridiculous) savings to build your own Zapper/Perfect Shot/shark gun bundle.

A word of warning, though: Target's clearances are rather tricky. Not all stores participate, and sometimes it's quite a battle to actually convince the employees that the game is on sale. Sometimes their clearanced games are removed from the system, meaning that you have to convince the employees that it's an item Target sells.

Importer YesAsia has a clearance sale going on right now, and, as may be expected of clearance sales, the stock is limited to things they couldn't sell before. In terms of DS stuff, that means Japanese versions of games that saw domestic releases, and items that nobody in the U.S. has heard of, for the most part.

While some of the imports are either too Japanese or still too expensive, sifting through the stock does reveal a few interesting items, like the Japanese version of Card Fighters DS for $11.49, Heroes of Mana for $17.99, and Slide Adventure Mag Kid, which gets a small, but meaningful, discount at $43.95. Or, if you have a bunch of money to spend on "clearance" items, you can pick up the Ring of Fates DS bundle for $300.

The sale is also a great opportunity to pick up a Japanese DS Lite case, as there are many variants in stock, including (continuing with the Ring of Fates theme) the Ring of Fates accessory pack. We've only linked to the DS items (for some reason ... ) but YesAsia is clearing out items for other systems as well.

If you live in the US, you have a DS and you don't have both Castlevania games, today is the day you will fix that problem. Amazon.com has Portrait of Ruin on sale for $20.99, and its predecessor Dawn of Sorrow for $19.99. Buy them together, and you get free shipping.

That's two of the best games released in the last few years, for less than a copy of Pimp My Ride for the Xbox 360. It's a pretty excellent deal.

This deal's been making its way through the Internets, so your local store may have been pillaged already. Regardless, you may want to make an attempt at grabbing what you can: at $2, even a not-so-great game like Death Jr starts looking pretty sweet.

If you're near a Best Buy store, gather up your $2 bills and get going, because they're in the midst of an epic videogame clearance, and you'll want to get there before the unscrupulous speculator types grab all the stuff to sacrifice to the ravenous eBay. You've got to be wily to get to the goods before the FatWalleters and the CAGs!

There aren't any Wii games on clearance, but there are plenty of Wii-compatible Gamecube games. We've got a list of all the Gamecube software on sale after the break. Don't expect to find all of it-- most of it has been out of stock for months or years at most stores, and the price changed to clear out remaining copies. But we hope you do find what you're looking for in abundance. And we hope we can make it to Best Buy soon enough to luck into our own copy of Chibi Robo.

Today, and today only, Best Buy stores in the United States are running a video game clearance to get rid of some old video game stock. According to a post on IGN's forums, select games from numerous consoles including the Xbox 360 are clearance priced and ripe for the picking. We noticed that Full Auto, King Kong, and Ridge Racer 6 are all listed for the rock bottom price of $1.99! Of course, the games are pretty crappy, but you can get some easy achievements or sell them on eBay. Other Xbox 360 titles are clearance priced at either $4.99 or $9.99 including Oblivion CE which is only $9.99. But be sure to note that this is a clearance and the available games will vary dramatically from store to store. And for your convenience, the full list of Xbox 360 clearance games and their prices are listed after the break.
