When you consider the regular price of The Eye of Judgment is $65, this deal becomes readily apparent. What's better t han a cheap game? Two cheap games, obviously. Not only has Play.com cut all their platinum PS3 game prices by £5, but they're also offering two for £25. A saving of £15 off the RRP. Not bad at all, when you consider these games were the cream of the crop in 2007. You can choose between Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Heavenly Sword, MotorStorm, Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction and Resistance: Fall of Man. So what are you waiting for? Go get some cheap games.

Another great PS3 game is available for a bargain price in the UK today. Argos, the high street catalog shop, has Ratchet and Clank up on its website for the excellent price of £14.99 -- a saving of £25. Our tipster assures us that this is less than you'd expect to pay on ebay, so definitely make sure you grab this one. Unfortunately, R&C won't be supporting trophies until at least after Resistance 2 gets released. Even then, it's not a certainty, but don't let that put you off. Ratchet & Clank is easily our second favorite PS3 exclusive from 2007 and at this price, it's well worth a punt.

We'd have to admit, these controllers by Nyko are rather unfortunate looking. However, if you want a spare controller around in case a friend you don't like so much comes over, you can't beat these.

The controller isn't without its merits; it is cheap, it includes a both a rechargeable battery and a AA battery pack if you don't wait for the controller to charge, it also claims to have "Six-Direction Tilt & Vibration." Keep in mind, though the controller is wireless, it isn't Bluetooth. The color of the controller is also determined randomly. Did we mention it is ugly?

Blu-ray sales are a bit more rare after the end of the format war, but there are still some hot deals to be found. Here is the latest offering from Best Buy: 2 for $25. Two of these films are this blogger's personal favorites - Dawn of the Dead and Total Recall. The Masters of Horror series is also worthy of a look, although the quality of each director's feature varies greatly. There is even a pre-order for a small gem of a Western that has yet to be released.

Keep in mind, however, this offer is only valid online.

This PSP-exclusive puzzle game has stylish graphics, and fun gameplay -- yet never got the attention it deserved. Yes, this is another fantastic exclusive that was ignored, left to cry by the wayside.

Now that this innovative fish-saving game (seriously) has dropped to $15 on amazon.com, you have almost no choice not to buy it. Word to wise, however. In spite its ridiculously cute looks, this is one incredibly challenging puzzle game.

Cult shooter Every Extend Extra may not have reached the same acclaim as Q Entertainment's other PSP game, Lumines, but it's a pretty solid addition to one's PSP collection. In Every Extend Extra, players must strategically blow themselves up and create chains to damage enemies. The unique visuals and hypnotic soundtrack create a surreal experience. But be warned! The game is relentlessly difficult (unlike the XBLA sequel).

You can get it for $13 shipped at Play-Asia. It's a rather interesting PSP exclusive, so you may want to give it a try.

Korean rhythm game fans are going to love this. Both Pump It Up EXCEED Portable and Pump It Up Zero Portable are available at import retailer Play-Asia this week for only $20. Imports rarely come cheap, so getting two games for such an incredibly low price is a deal we simply can't refuse.

For the unfamiliar, the Pump It Up series is a popular music game, similar to Bemani's DDR series. Arrows go towards the top of the screen, and the player must hit the buttons in tandem with the music. Although, we're wondering: could this handheld game possibly be as fun as the arcade originals?

It's interesting, now, to look back on the PS3's troubled first year. People complained that it had no games (a criticism only the criminally insane would dare make nowadays), that Blu-ray wasn't a proven format (which has since been proved) and that the price was too high. Now, however, Play.com have dropped the 40GB PS3 to its lowest price ever, beating out the competition by £70. You can head on over to the site right now and pick one up for only £230. That includes free shipping. Bargain!

It's worth noting that the Xbox 360 Elite currently costs £250 on the same site, so there's no contest between which is the better deal. We expect people to jump at this price, so if you're on the fence (and a UK resident) now might be the perfect time to re-evaluate a purchase.

[Update] Looks like this was a mistake! Play.com has updated the price to £289.99. Looks like it really was too good to be true.
