After over four years on the digital airwaves, it's time to say goodbye to the Xbox 360 Fancast. Come join Alexander, Dave and Richard as they bid a fond farewell to the show that started it all. We've got tons of listener emails, tweets and voicemails, and a few tidbits on what you can expect from Joystiq in the near future.

A huge thank you to all of our listeners old and new. Check out some favorite X3F moments after the break!
The pre-E3 lull continues this week, though there's still a little news to be found. Namely, we discuss Assassin's Creed Revelations and the delay of Mass Effect 3. And let's not forget Guardian Heroes and its unfortunately "remastered" screen shots. We also have something of an announcement to make, so be sure to stick around.
Sometimes people ask us about when it's time to outgrow playing video games. The answer, of course, is never. You'll have to pry the controller from our cold, arthritic fingers. Or, more likely, you'll have to surgically remove the intracranial Xbox biochip from our dopamine soaked brains. Listen to the latest Xbox 360 Fancast as we discuss this and many other topics.
This week on the Xbox 360 Fancast, we've got plenty of talk on Section 8: Prejudice, Mortal Kombat, Shadows of the Damned and more. We also take some time to chat on a subject in which we are completely unqualified: parenting.
This week's episode of the Xbox 360 Fancast might be chock-full of info on Gears of War 3, Prey 2, Red Faction: Armageddon and FEAR 3, but that's not what it's really about. No, this episode is really about the great state of Idaho, potato capital of America. Come for the game talk, but stay for the tubers.
Another decidedly un-gangsta' episode of the Xbox 360 Fancast is now available for your downloading pleasure. Listen as we discuss chubby Sonic, brotherly abuse, and how very, very awful it must be to have Stephen Toulouse's job.
It's all about the shout-outs this week on the Xbox 360 Fancast. Actually, only the second half is really about shout-outs. So, it's like fifty percent shout-outs. The other half is a life lesson about not publicly broadcasting crimes as you're committing them. It's a lesson the younger generation really needs to learn.
Ready your sound interception modules, another Xbox 360 Fancast is available for your intense aural satisfaction. This week, we discuss the "sexy" Top Spin 4 ad featuring Serena Williams and the (perhaps) surprising success of Homefront. We also issue yet another in a long line of botched apologies to our listeners.

Also, we've discovered a clip filmed during our live show at PAX East. Check it out after the break.
After two weeks of special episodes (you've listened to Episode Zero and the PAX East Live show, right?), things return to a somewhat normal state this week. Of course, all we do is talk about PAX East, so it's not that normal. Check out the latest episode for an earful on Section 8: Prejudice, Orcs Must Die!, Skullgirls and a verbal recounting of the X3F Live antics you couldn't see while listening to the recording.
The X3F Live show is scheduled to go down this Saturday at PAX East (Naga Theatre, 8:00pm). As such, we thought it would be the perfect time to finally release Episode Zero. What is Episode Zero, you ask? It's a compilation of the best moments from the first two hundred episodes of the Xbox 360 Fancast. Four years of podcasts compressed into one discrete chunk of hilarity, all for you!

It's the perfect show for new listeners and should get everyone up to speed for PAX East. Old listeners, meanwhile, can just bask in the wonderful memories. If you'd like to actually witness Dustin Burg eating a glob of Marmite -- the audio is around 45:30 in Episode Zero -- you'll find it on video after the break.

Finally, a huge thanks to all of the following who helped make Episode Zero possible.
GDC is rolling along this week, which means we had to record the latest X3F as quickly as possible in order to get back to work. Don't worry though, it's still packed with plenty of nutritious news and fortified with yuks. We even managed to track down Dave Hinkle in the field to discuss some Gears of War 3 multiplayer and Batman: Arkham City.
It's Valentine's Day, so what kind of podcast would this be if we didn't have an extra special, super romantic episode for you? Well, it would probably be a podcast that wasn't published on Mondays. But that's beside the point, because this is a super romantic, extra special episode filled with romance and ... extra specialness. We also talk a lot about Duke Nukem Forever, and what could be more romantic than that?
This is it folks, the two hundredth episode of the Xbox 360 Fancast. We've got lots of special stuff lined up, including interviews with Volition's J Goldberg and Xbox Live community manager, Eric Doty. Also, what better way to celebrate four years of awesomeness than exposing the world to the greatness that is X3F's most publicized listener, Algebra Cow (AKA Mike). Finally, a big shout out to Mr. Scott Biggs, who went to the trouble of brewing us beer in celebration of 200 episodes. It was delicious!
Just one episode shy of 200, this week's Fancast may be the most manic one ever recorded. Hang in there as we discuss Dead Space 2, Breach, Shift 2 Unleashed and, of course, Dead Space Girl! Listen long enough and you will know madness.
Join us for another episode of the Xbox 360 Fancast, in which we discuss Crysis 2 multiplayer, exergaming and whether or not one can "outgrow" video games. And be sure to stick around for the part where everything falls into a deep pit of sadness. Don't worry though, because the Sonic Adventure title screen music can pep up any situation.
Another week, another exciting episode of the Xbox 360 Fancast. This week, we discuss the NPDs and, of course, Wesley Snipes' burgeoning game development career. We also have a special announcement. Sort of. Think of it as a pre-announcement that may or may not be related to PAX East 2010. Like, if we get up the courage to do it, it might actually happen. But don't quote us on it.
Everything was going just fine. The podcast was humming along normally. Heck, we made it all the way through fanmail, but then, the Wall Street Journal happened. You know what an "Unsung Videogame Hero" of 2010 was, according to WSJ? Mass Effect 2. Yeah, the podcast pretty much had to stop there. We are clearly in the wrong line of work.
2011 is upon us and, to celebrate, here's a new episode of that Xbox 360 Fancast. This week, we run down Joystiq's top ten games of 2010. We also discuss what little news there is and just generally try to fill up some time. More important than any of those things, however, is the birth of a new hero: Katharine Shepburn. She's here to save the galaxy and become romantically entangled with Cary Grant.
It's the second-to-last Monday of the year and ... it feels like it. There isn't much news out there this week, so we take a more free-form approach with episode 193. We've got the usual gabbery (that's a word, right?) of what we've been playing, but we've also got updates on the X3F Flab-Off and some talk about Joystiq's impending "Best of 2010" festivites. Grab the latest episode below or ruin Richard's 28th birthday. You don't want to make him cry, do you?
The gaming industry is essentially over and done with 2010. All the major releases are out, and the bulk of sales have been tallied. In short, it should be a time for weary developers, publishers and bloggers to rest. And yet, it seems someone missed the memo, as the news just keeps pouring in. This week on X3F, we discuss all the unseasonable news from the Tomb Raider reboot to the VGAs. Give us a listen, won't you?
The Xbox 360 Fancast returns from its Thanksgiving hiatus with a fresh new episode to warm you during those cold winter nights. Join us this week as we geek out over Ms. 'Splosion Man and feel underwhelmed by Xbox Live Rewards. Also, we talk about Kinect's future prospects and the strange transformation of Dead Rising's Frank West.

Also also, routers are wiggled.
You're in for quite the piping-hot treat of justice today, as the Xbox 360 Fancast crew find themselves in rare form for the 190th episode of this podcasting institution. There's plenty of punny taglines for our coffee-themed super hero we've concocted in our noggins, but there's also talk of this Xbox 360 video games console thing, as well -- specifically, about how well Kinect has been doing and how much fun it is to stab your friends. Download and listen, lest you allow the Borgia to win!
There's a lot of talk about important things in this week's episode of X3F. We talk up the huge sales of Call of Duty: Black Ops and, of course, the impending sale of Harmonix. These things pale in comparison to the real topic of conversation however, because you must know that there is an intruder in your home ... and its name is Kinect. That's right: Kinect is watching you. What's more, we have proof (and a catchy theme song).
It's all about Kinect this week, folks. Listen and marvel as Dave and Alexander recount their first experiences with Kinect and discuss Your Shape, Kinect Adventures, Kinectimals and, of course, Dance Central. Also, discover the evils of tight spaces, low light and ... pajama pants. Those of you without Kinect, well, you can learn the horrors of horse hair plaster.
It's finally here, Xbox 360 Fancast 187. You're all asking yourselves: Did they get that interview with Ice T? The answer, of course, is kind of. Yes, we also talk about video games, giving special time to both Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 and Fable 3. And of course, with Kinect launching in just a few days, we continue preparations for the Great X3F Flab Off.
This week we bring you our promised Spoiler Warning of Halo: Reach. Join us as we discuss our favorite -- and most disappointing -- moments in the game. If you haven't finished the game yet, enjoy the first half of the show, during which we discuss the latest news and the oncoming onslaught of October releases. Also, be sure to stick around as we pour one out for the dearly departed Milo.

(Big shout out to our buddy Chris Majewski for his excellent new Fancast art this week! Check out his other work here and feel free to contact him for commissions of your own.)
It's all Reach and Tokyo Game Show talk on the Fancast in this episode, folks. It turns out that a new Halo game and the prospect of actual core Kinect titles makes for a pretty interesting week. Who knew?
Put simply, we're all champing at the bit to play us some Halo: Reach. This podcast is a formality, really, something we are forced to do out of some bizarre sense of tradition and duty. If we had our druthers (and early copies, which we don't), we'd be playing Halo: Reach. As it stands, all we can do is pass the time until Tuesday. And now, with the latest episode of X3F, so can you!
It may be a holiday here in the US, but the show must go on! This isn't a traditional episode -- instead, we're just talking PAX Prime 2010, answering some questions from Twitter and addressing some fanmail. We're trying to keep it casual, you know, so pull up a chair, grab a frosty beverage and kick it with your X3F buddies below. Enjoy!

Oh, and we'd like to thank @_misterd_ for releasing the butterflies in the wonderful chop above.
We talk some more about Kinect this week, and have a discussion on the subject used games. The real meat, however, lies in the creation of the David Hinkle ringtone or, as we're calling it, the Hinkletone. You can download it right here. Enjoy.
The gang's all back in town, folks. Alexander returns from a long, tiring trip to GDC Europe and Gamescom. Put on the kettle and get cozy: He's got some stories. And did you hear that Halo: Reach was leaked? Crazy. Also: We gon' find you.
Alexander is off in Germany to attend GDC Europe and Gamescom, so it's just Richard and Dave this week. Listen as we tackle July NPD numbers, BioShock Infinite and the bizarre conflation of words that is Melty Blood: Actress Again. Oh, fine, we'll throw in a quick MP3 that Alexander sent us from Germany, too. You know we spoil you.
Monday Night Combat is pretty great. Listen to the latest Xbox 360 Fancast to hear us talk about it. Then listen as we lament the lack of online co-op in Lara Croft and the heartless (hopefully temporary) removal of Kinect functionality from Fable 3. Also, bad British accents make a triumphant return. Hit the download button and commence with the listening.
