There are two kinds of corporations in the US: those who count themselves amongst the top 500 companies, according to Fortune magazine, and those who can't afford Fortune magazine. And now Electronic Arts has managed to break its way into the august ranks of the Fortune 500, <a href="http://money.cnn.com/magazines/fortune/fortune500/2010/snapshots/10792.html">CNN</a> reports, at number 494, to be exact. Despite emerging from a period of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/12/10/riccitiello-addresses-ea-morale-effects-of-negative-press/">bad morale</a>, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/11/09/report-ea-lays-off-staff-at-four-major-divisions/">layoffs</a> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/11/17/pandemic-closes-physical-doors-brand-lives-on/">studio closures</a>, it would seem things are looking up for ol' EA. Uh, not that we care or anything. EA is <em>totally</em> evil, right?<br />
