According to the page (which has been replaced, screenshot above), "E3 begins on GTTV with the <em>Star Wars 1313</em> announcement and new trailers from <em>Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance</em>, <em>Tomb Raider</em>, <em>Guardians of Middle-Earth</em>, <em>Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2</em>, and <em>Dishonored</em>."<br /><br />Most of those we already knew would be getting some coverage at the show next week, but two of those titles are new to our ears: <em>Star Wars 1313</em>, and <em>Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2</em>.<br /><br /><a href="http://joystiq.com/game/star-wars-1313"><em>Star Wars 1313</em></a> is a trademark that's been <a href="http://www.theforce.net/latestnews/story/Star_Wars_1313_145414.asp">bouncing around at LucasFilm</a> for a while, but there's been no official word on just what it might be yet. In the Expanded Universe, Boba Fett <a href="http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/CT-1313">once used the alias "CT-1313,"</a> so the best guess is that it's a new franchise based around Fett's story in some way. <a href="http://StarWars1313.com">StarWars1313.com</a> has also been registered by LucasArts, and currently redirects to the main Star Wars site.<br /><br />And <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/castlevania-lords-of-shadow-2"><em>Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2</em></a> is clearly a sequel to the 2010 title that's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/04/02/castlevania-lords-of-shadow-producer-teasing-new-game-namedrop/">hardly a big surprise</a> to finally hear about. But it's not any less exciting to see these two big names revealed by GTTV's mistake. We'll obviously find out more about both of these when the official announcements are made.<br /><br /><strong>Update:</strong> <em>Star Wars 1313</em> now <a href="http://www.facebook.com/StarWars1313">has a Facebook page</a>, also apparently leaked before an "announcement." There's a shot and a description on there, both of which we've reprinted after the break. 1313 refers to "Level 1313," a criminal underground on Coruscant (if indeed this page is real), but there is mention of a certain "bounty hunter," so Boba's not out yet.<br /><br /><strong>Update</strong>: <a href="http://www.lucasarts.com/">LucasArts' official site</a> has the shot, logo, and a link to the Facebook page. It's official, this is the new <em>Star Wars</em> game.<br /><br />[Thanks, Jonas]<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/31/star-wars-1313-castlevania-lords-of-shadow-2-titles-leaked-ahe/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Star Wars 1313, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 titles leaked ahead of E3 announcements</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/31/star-wars-1313-castlevania-lords-of-shadow-2-titles-leaked-ahe/">Star Wars 1313, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 titles leaked ahead of E3 announcements</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 31 May 2012 20:55:00 EST. When will you get to see Silicon Knights' <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/x-men-destiny">X-Men Destiny</a></em> in action? <em>We just don't know</em>. You can, however, watch this <em>total</em> teaser for it from the latest episode of <a href="http://www.gametrailers.com/episode/gametrailers-tv/111">GTTV</a>. We're hoping that the X-Men among you will dissect the trailer and let us know of any interesting tidbits in the comments below.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/12/10/x-men-destiny-teased-again/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>X-Men Destiny teased again</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/12/10/x-men-destiny-teased-again/">X-Men Destiny teased again</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 10 Dec 2010 12:30:00 EST. The most recent episode of GameTrailers TV brought with it <a href="http://www.gametrailers.com/video/exclusive-debut-enslaved/100015">the first moving pictures</a> associated with Ninja Theory's upcoming Chinese fable-turned-video game, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/enslaved"><em>Enslaved: Odyssey to the West</em></a>. Our initial thoughts on the trailer is that it loses a significant amount of points for sheer bossiness ("My <em>something</em> is your <em>something</em>," the video frequently informs us), but regains said points for the protagonist's creative methods of ladder navigation.<br />

If you're looking for <em>Call of Duty</em> news that isn't related to the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/infinity-ward,@breakup">Infinity Ward fiasco</a>, you're in luck. This week's GameTrailers TV will feature a brand new teaser trailer that promises to "put all the rumors to rest." We already know that the next iteration of Activision's FPS franchise will be developed by <em>World at War</em>'s <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/03/02/activision-treyarch-call-of-duty-this-fall-mw2-map-packs-2010/">Treyarch</a>, but this week's GTTV should finally confirm the long-rumored <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/05/03/rumor-next-call-of-duty-possibly-set-in-vietnam/">Vietnam setting</a>.<br />
<br />
GTTV will air on SpikeTV on Friday night at 12:40AM. (And don't worry, we'll post details immediately after they air.) Check out a promo after the break.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/04/28/next-call-of-duty-to-be-announced-on-gametrailers-tv-this-week/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Next Call of Duty to be announced on GameTrailers TV this week</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/04/28/next-call-of-duty-to-be-announced-on-gametrailers-tv-this-week/">Next Call of Duty to be announced on GameTrailers TV this week</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 28 Apr 2010 16:50:00 EST. We never thought we'd have to slap a spoiler warning on a post about downloadable content for the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/left-4-dead"><em>Left 4 Dead</em></a> franchise -- and yet, here we are. The <a href="http://www.gametrailers.com/episode/gametrailers-tv/88?ch=4&amp;sd=4_hd">latest episode of GameTrailers TV</a> revealed an intriguing plot point about the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/02/11/l4d2-the-passing-dlc-in-march-l4d1-tie-in-dlc-to-follow/">pair of new chapters</a> for the original game and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/left-4-dead-2">sequel</a>. We know that some of you are less than excited about the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/02/25/mass-effect-2-firewalker-dlc-coming-late-march/">return of vehicular gameplay</a> to the <em>Mass Effect</em> franchise -- we still have vivid nightmares about our time behind the wheel of the Mako from the original game. However, your position will probably be reversed by last night's <a href="http://www.gametrailers.com/episode/gametrailers-tv/86?sd=1&amp;ch=4">episode of GameTrailers TV</a>, which showed off the Hammerhead vehicle which will arrive in the upcoming "Firewalker" DLC for <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/mass-effect-2"><em>Mass Effect 2</em></a>. It is, in a word, <em>rad</em>. In two words? <em>Totally rad</em>.<br />

"You finally get the chance to see what it's like to be killed by Kratos," Adam Puhl explained to Geoff Keighley in the latest episode of GameTrailers TV. Although described as "first person kills," we'd argue that they should be coined "<a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second-person_narrative">second person</a> kills" -- <em>you</em> are doing the killing, after all. Regardless of the terminology, these interactive sequences are likely to represent some of the most gruesome moments of the entire franchise. For us, this footage represented the highlight of last night's episode.<br />
<br />
The 21-minute special includes a rather comprehensive look at <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/god-of-war-iii"><em>God of War III</em></a>, but be warned of potential spoilers. You will see some new bosses, and even a new power that enhances the combat rather significantly. It's only a few weeks away until the game's release, so let's find out if you have the willpower not to visit <a href="http://www.gametrailers.com/episode/gametrailers-tv/85?ep=85">GameTrailers</a>.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/02/26/god-of-war-iii-features-first-person-kills/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>God of War III features 'first-person kills'</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/02/26/god-of-war-iii-features-first-person-kills/">God of War III features 'first-person kills'</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 26 Feb 2010 17:20:00 EST. That's how Krome Studios' <a href="http://www.businesswire.com/portal/site/home/permalink/?ndmViewId=news_view&amp;newsId=20100218005454&amp;newsLang=en">press release</a> describes the heroine of the upcoming <em>Blade Kitten</em>, a two-part, downloadable arcade action game coming to the PS3 this Spring. The anime-inspired game is based off a <a href="http://www.bladekitten.com/">comic</a> of the same name, created by Krome Studios co-founder Steve Stamatiadis.<br />
<br />
A gameplay trailer will debut later tonight exclusively on Spike TV's GameTrailers TV. Expect to see some platforming, sword fighting and a disturbing focus on her -- <a href="http://www.kromestudios.com/games/overview.php?id=00038">we kid you not</a> -- "smart mouth" and "hot body." <em>Meow</em>. Before then, you can watch a teaser trailer after the break.<br />

Here were are again, folks, for another edition of "Turn a Tweet Into a Full Post." This time we've got word from the always exciting <a href="http://twitter.com/geoffkeighley/statuses/8206562401">Twitter feed of Geoff Keighley</a> that this week's episode of GameTrailers TV will reveal the fourth game from Japanese developer Platinum Games. So far, after inking a <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/05/20/sega-talks-platinum-games-deal-franchises/">publishing deal with Sega</a> in 2008 for four games, all we've heard of the mysterious fourth title is that it will be headed up by <em>Resident Evil</em> designer Shinji Mikami. <br />
<br />
Considering the somewhat confusing wording of Keighley's tweet, we asked the man himself to clarify what we're going to see on Thursday evening. "It's an exclusive reveal trailer for the game inside the show this week. The news breaks during GTTV on Thursday night. We're really excited to have the Japanese developers/publishers working with us on reveals like this." He also pointed out that <a href="http://www.platinumgames.co.jp/">this countdown</a> on Platinum Games' Japanese website has been counting down towards Thursday's reveal -- aha! For all the steaming hot scoops, you'll have to peep the show when it airs this Thursday evening/Friday morning at 12:30AM ET.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/01/25/platinum-games-fourth-game-to-be-announced-on-this-weeks-gttv/">Platinum Games' fourth game to be announced on this week's GTTV</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 25 Jan 2010 16:45:00 EST. We all know that home console <em>Zelda</em> games take longer to develop than most small, fledgling nations -- still, we'd secretly hoped that Nintendo would pull a hat trick next year, releasing new Wii installments in the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/metroid-other-m"><em>Metroid</em></a>, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/super-mario-galaxy-2"><em>Mario</em></a> and the aforementioned <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/07/02/miyamoto-next-legend-of-zelda-wont-be-radically-different/">Triforce-centric series</a>. Sadly, a recent quote from Reggie Fils-Aime has made us doubtful that this scenario will be realized -- <a href="http://www.gametrailers.com/episode/gametrailers-tv/77?ep=77">speaking on GameTrailers TV</a>, Fils-Aime explained that Nintendo hasn't "committed to <em>Zelda </em>for 2010."<br />
<br />
So, feel free to keep that hope in your heart that you'll be Ganon-thwarting once more within the next 365 days -- but don't get too upset if it doesn't happen. Much like a college-aged Lothario, Nintendo's remaining non-committal. You might say the company's as free as a bird, darling -- and this bird, you <em>cannot</em> change.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/11/08/nintendo-hasnt-committed-to-new-zelda-for-wii-in-2010/">Nintendo 'hasn't committed' to new Zelda for Wii in 2010</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sun, 08 Nov 2009 15:30:00 EST. Like all good things in life, there's a steep price to pay for watching last night's <em>Bioshock 2</em>-centric <a href="http://www.gametrailers.com/episode/gametrailers-tv/76?ch=1&amp;sd=1_hd">episode of <em>GameTrailers TV</em></a> (posted after the jump). That price is your <em>everlasting soul</em>.<br /><br />Okay, all it actually costs you is exposure to a few spoilers for the game -- but isn't that just as bad? Remember that sense of wonder the first time you stepped foot into the murky waters of Rapture? Ever since Andrew Ryan decided to go out for that pack of smokes (our mom says he's coming back; just you wait!), there's been nobody to tend to the leaky pipes and roving packs of splicers in Rapture. Well, according to GameTrailers TV's <a href="http://twitter.com/geoffkeighley/status/5019894542">Geoff Keighley</a>, someone's finally decided to step in and assume the leadership role for <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/bioshock-2"><em>BioShock 2</em></a>, and we'll find out who on Thursday's episode.<br /><br />In another tweet, Keighley <a href="http://twitter.com/geoffkeighley/status/4979926482">promised</a> plenty of "<span class="status-body"><span class="entry-content">new single player info and footage" and even teased that the episode will also reveal new characters -- something <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/05/06/2k-marin-says-rapture-is-key-to-bioshock-promises-more-characte/">we already knew</a> was planned for the sequel. You can catch the special <em>BioShock 2</em> episode this Thursday night, October 22 at 12:30 a.m. ET on Spike. <br /></span></span><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/10/21/gttv-features-bioshock-2-this-week-reveals-whos-running-raptur/">GTTV features BioShock 2 this week; reveals who's running Rapture</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 21 Oct 2009 00:00:00 EST. As you can see in the video above, it's sort of a puzzley platformer that has you manipulating objects in the environment in order to help Sophie (who's moving of her own free will, <em>Lemmings</em>-style) get from one side of the screen to the other.<br />
<br />
We're intrigued by the gameplay, but totally in love with the art style and calming soundtrack. Luckily, we don't have long to wait to hear it in full, as the game's apparently coming to XBLA later this month. A date for the PC version is still unannounced, and there's no word of an appearance on PSN.<br />
<br />
[<strong>Update</strong>: LucasArts sent over a much nicer video, showing some more gameplay, as well as a charming introduction, which you can see right up top!]<br />

Since he announced it in a 140 character-constrained <a href="http://twitter.com/geoffkeighley/status/3851030608">tweet</a>, and since he wants you to <em>watch the show</em>, there was little room for details beyond it being "original."<br />
<br />
We're just going to <em>guess</em> that the new game is <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/lucidity"><em>Lucidity</em></a>, the rumored XBLA adventure game that has yet to be officially announced. Of course, a <em>safer</em> bet would be "another <em>Star Wars</em> game." We'll all find out Thursday night, we suppose.<br />

How <em>exclusive</em> is this footage? So exclusive it's not even named yet! At least that's what Valve's Chet Faliszek told Geoff Keigley about <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/left-4-dead-2"><em>Left 4 Dead 2</em></a>'s amusement park campaign on the most recent episode of <a href="http://www.gametrailers.com/episode/gametrailers-tv/67?ep=67">GTTV</a>. If you skip past the first half of the episode found after the break (which, inconveniently enough isn't available as a standalone video), you'll get a few minutes of new gameplay from the upcoming zombie-murdalizin' sequel.<br />
<br />
As you might imagine, there are zombies. There are also amusement park rides. As if clowns weren't terrifying enough! Come on, Valve!<br />

We got <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/dj-hero/2000877/">our first look</a> at the vinyl-spinning peripheral for Activision's mixmastering sim <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/DJ-Hero/">DJ Hero</a></em> earlier this month but -- well, they weren't very good pictures, were they? Just look at that framing. <em>Terrible</em>. Obviously, someone's never heard of the rule of thirds. Man, we learned about that photographic law during our extensive <em>Pok&eacute;mon Snap</em> sessions. It's not that hard, people.<br /><br />Fortunately, a sneak peek for GameTrailers TV's E3 coverage gave us a much clearer shot of the turntable periph, seen <a href="http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=362278&amp;page=2">in the image above</a>. We get a pretty good look at the crossfader attachment, as well as a sense of the controller's size in comparison to a human lap. Hopefully, we'll get an even better (and more photographically sound) look at the peripheral when we check <em>DJ Hero</em> out at <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/e3-2009">E3 next week</a>.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=362278&amp;page=2">NeoGAF</a>, thanks to everyone who sent this in!]<br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/dj-hero/">DJ Hero</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/dj-hero/#2042712"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/05/djhero052903_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/dj-hero/#2042711"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/05/djhero052902_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/dj-hero/#2042710"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/05/djhero052901_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/dj-hero/#2042709"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/05/djhero052904_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/dj-hero/#2000878"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/05/dj-hero-controller-2_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/05/24/gametrailers-tv-promo-gives-a-look-at-dj-hero-peripheral/">GameTrailers TV promo gives a look at DJ Hero peripheral</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sun, 24 May 2009 13:00:00 EST. According to <a href="http://kotaku.com/5264925/e3-details-spill-from-epic-gametrailers-taping">Kotaku</a>, a recent live taping of a GameTrailers TV E3 special revealed a veritable bounty of E3 information. First and foremost, a spokesmen reportedly confirmed that the upcoming <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/uncharted-2"><em>Uncharted 2</em></a> multiplayer beta will begin on the first day of E3. For all the Nathan Drake fans out there, that would be June 2, so mark your calendars.<br /><br />The special is also rumored to reveal new details about <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/ratchet-and-clank-a-crack-in-time"><em>Ratchet &amp; Clank: A Crack in Time</em></a>, specifically that the game will include time travel as well as new hover boots for Ratchet. Throw in some <em>Modern Warfare 2</em> footage, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/05/20/brink-trademarked-by-bethesda-parent-company/">a new title from Bethesda</a> and news about loads of games including <em>Mass Effect 2</em>, <em>Madden</em>, <em>Need For Speed: Shift</em>, <em>Dante's Inferno</em>, <em>Lost Planet 2</em> and <em>Aliens vs Predator</em>, and you've got quite a show.<br /><br />Granted, some of this could easily be revealed prior to the episode's May 28 premier (11:00pm ET/PT), but given the program's penchant for WORLD EXCLUSIVE reveals, it's probably worth checking out.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://twitter.com/geoffkeighley/status/1875372882">@geoffkeighley</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/05/21/rumor-gttv-taping-reveals-uncharted-2-beta-deets-other-e3-tidb/">Rumor: GTTV taping reveals Uncharted 2 beta deets, other E3 tidbits</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 21 May 2009 18:15:00 EST. Now, our news is hand delivered to us by the Twitter feeds of celebrities. This is truly a great era.<br /><br />Tony Hawk <a href="http://twitter.com/tonyhawk/status/1764322295">just Tweeted</a> that his latest game would be revealed on the May 15 episode of GameTrailers TV, saying, "<span class="status-body"><span class="entry-content">I have been harboring the secret long enough." Yeah, another Tony Hawk game is being made. We're so glad he could get that off his chest. Can't imagine the burden.<br /><br />Speaking of "really well kept secrets", we figure there's a good chance he's talking about <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/12/24/tony-hawks-adrenaline-to-be-way-more-realistic/"><em>Tony Hawk Adrenaline</em></a>, the possibly Balance Board-based, non-Neversoft title due out this year. ... Our knowledge of <em>The Sweet Science</em> is comparable to our comprehension of high velocity particle collision and basic algebra -- that is to say, <em>it is limited</em>. However, we're certain that the announcement on <a href="http://www.gametrailers.com/player/47852.html?r=1&amp;type=wmv">last night's episode of GameTrailers TV</a> that the <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/search/?q=Fight%20Night%20Round%204">Fight Night Round 4</a></em> demo (set to launch sometime mid-May) will recreate the blockbuster May 2 match between <a href="http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing/news/story?id=3782345">Ricky Hatton and Manny "Pac-Man" Pacquiao</a> is <em>good news indeed</em>.<br /><br />Why are we so sure? Well, based off of what we've gleaned from the five minutes of Googling we've just performed, the Hatton vs. Pacquiano fight is promised to contain no small amount of punching. We're pretty sure that'll translate really well into a punching-centric gaming experience.<br /><br />[Thanks, Tim!]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/04/17/fight-night-round-4-demo-coming-mid-may-recreates-pacquiao-vs/">Fight Night Round 4 demo coming mid-May, recreates Pacquiao vs. Hatton fight</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 17 Apr 2009 17:30:00 EST. Light on gameplay but heavy on <em>murder</em> the first trailer for <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/battlefield-bad-company-2/"><em>Battlefield: Bad Company 2</em></a> got "world exclusive" status on this week's <a href="http://www.gametrailers.com/game/5927.html">GameTrailers TV</a> (after the break).<br /><br />Showcasing the cycle of "smoke a cigarette, kill a dude, get killed yourself" in a <em>MadWorld</em>-esque aesthetic, we can't help but wish for actual gameplay footage from the game -- the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/02/03/ea-confirms-mass-effect-2-and-battlefield-bad-company-sequel/">first <em>Bad Company 2</em> screen</a> was madness! We'll expect to hear more from publisher <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/ea">EA</a> and developer <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/ea-dice">DICE</a> as we near <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/e3-2009">E3 2009</a> in June. If you haven't already guessed by the circus train of trailers that surfaced today, <a href="http://www.gametrailers.com/gametrailerstv_player.php?ep=50&amp;ch=1&amp;sd=0">last night's episode of GameTrailers TV</a> provided a cornucopia of previews for a number of hotly anticipated games and DLC expansions. First on the docket is an interview with Bethesda's Todd Howard, who in addition to revealing a self-surgery minigame that didn't quite make it to the retail version of <em>Fallout 3</em>, gives a few details regarding <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/03/05/fallout-3s-the-pitt-officially-dated-new-screens/">the upcoming <em>The Pitt</em> expansion</a>, and promises a new trailer for the DLC in the next installment of GTTV.<br /><br />Next, Todd Hollenshead, CEO of id Software, <a href="http://www.gametrailers.com/gametrailerstv_player.php?ep=50&amp;ch=2&amp;sd=0">shows off carpocalypse sim <em>Rage</em></a>, and gives a few scant details on the next <em>Doom</em> title (shockingly, it will be like the last three). Or, wait -- did it actually reveal the game in said teaser? It's like, out there now, right? We're pretty sure that counts as a revelation.<br /><br />From the four seconds of <em>Split Second</em> cinematics shown in the teaser (which appears to have come from <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/02/17/pure-developer-blackrock-teases-new-action-racer/">Black Rock's teaser video</a>, seen above), as well as Geoff Keighley's ominous voiceover which warns, "watch out, Burnout," we're guessing it'll be in the same ludological vein as Criterion's cash cow. We've contacted a Disney Interactive rep for more info, but we're sure to find out more when <em>GTTV</em> airs Friday night (Saturday morning) at 1 a.m. EST.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/03/05/pure-devs-new-racer-split-second-to-debut-march-6/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Pure dev's new racer 'Split Second' to debut March 6</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/03/05/pure-devs-new-racer-split-second-to-debut-march-6/">Pure dev's new racer 'Split Second' to debut March 6</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 05 Mar 2009 17:20:00 EST. Geoff Keighley's coming to the PlayStation Network. His Spike TV show, GameTrailers TV, will be making regular appearances on the PSN Video Store. The show, which airs weekly, is similar to Qore, and provides viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the development of some popular games. We're assuming the show will cost the same it does on the Xbox Live Marketplace counterpart, so expect SD episodes to run $2 an episode, while HD episodes will cost $3. <strong>Confirmed:</strong> SD episodes cost $2 an episode.<br /><br />The, uh, trailer for GameTrailers TV is after the break.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/02/13/gametrailers-tv-coming-to-playstation-network/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>GameTrailers TV coming to PlayStation Network</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/02/13/gametrailers-tv-coming-to-playstation-network/">GameTrailers TV coming to PlayStation Network</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 13 Feb 2009 10:15:00 EST. If you're looking for new gameplay videos and information on the sequel to the PS3's well-received launch title, you'll have to watch <a href="http://www.gametrailers.com/gametrailerstv_player.php?ep=19&amp;ch=1&amp;sd=1">the <em>entirety </em>of last night's episode of GameTrailers TV</a>, as the individual nuggets of new information about the game have yet to be compartmentalized into easily digestible clips.<br /><br />There's some interesting gameplay footage spliced throughout the episode, but for those of you who don't have 22 minutes to kill, you can check out <a href="http://www.gametrailers.com/gametrailerstv_player.php?ep=19&amp;ch=1&amp;sd=1">chapters one</a> <a href="http://www.gametrailers.com/gametrailerstv_player.php?ep=19&amp;ch=2&amp;sd=1">and two</a> for details about the single player campaign, <a href="http://www.gametrailers.com/gametrailerstv_player.php?ep=19&amp;ch=3&amp;sd=1">chapter three</a> for new info about mutliplayer, and <a href="http://www.gametrailers.com/gametrailerstv_player.php?ep=19&amp;ch=4&amp;sd=1">chapter four</a> for new characters and weapons. We imagine there's enough footage of Keighley getting the silent treatment from Price to fill up at least seventeen additional chapters.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/06/14/resistance-2-details-gameplay-revealed-on-last-nights-gametrai/">Resistance 2 details, gameplay revealed on last night's GameTrailers TV</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sat, 14 Jun 2008 21:30:00 EST. Just when you were getting used to the awkward name, our good buddies at MTV Networks (hey Ed Lover!) have decided to close up Game Head HQ after 2-1/2 years and roll that show's talent into another video gaming super show: may we introduce GameTrailers TV, premiering next month on Spike TV. <br /><br />So, Keighley stays on board, but now his powers are augmented by those of GameTrailers' Daniel Kayser and Amanda MacKay. After <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2005/11/23/mtv-buys-gametrailers/">purchasing Game Trailers two years ago</a>, MTV has been steadily integrating the property across their burgeoning video game empire. One need look no further than last night's airing of the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/12/09/liveblogging-the-2007-video-game-awards/">Spike Video Game Awards</a>, which was littered with video game <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/12/10/iron-mans-new-trailer-looks-unexpectedly-awesome/">trailer</a> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/12/10/watch-the-vgas-little-big-planet-trailer/">premieres</a> (amongst other things carefully selected to trigger base responses in the 18-34 year old male demographic).<br /><br />So, we'll still have the news and interviews from Game Head, but coupled with the features and trailers from GameTrailers. Apparently, like the VGAs, trailers will premiere on the show before popping up on GameTrailers.com along with the full episodes. Full episodes will later make their way to the Xbox Live Marketplace in glorious HD if you're into that sorta thing.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/12/10/game-head-out-gametrailers-tv-in/">Game Head out, GameTrailers TV in</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 10 Dec 2007 12:10:00 EST.
