	<a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/08/22/click-and-drag-in-style-with-logitechs-g300-gaming-mouse/"><img alt="Logitech introduces its new G300 gaming mouse." src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2011/08/logitechg300.jpg" style="border-width: 0px; border-style: solid; margin: 0px;" /></a></div>
Logitech has introduced its new G300 mouse, coming to the US and Europe next month. The biggest selling point seems to be that the mouse is ambidextrous, meaning that as the buttons are laid out symmetrically, you can use it with either your right or your left hand. You can also store up to three profiles on the mouse itself (no software needed), and you can even configure the lighting colors to match up to a certain profile, telling you how it's set with just a look.<br />
<br />
There's also a 2500 DPI sensor on the bottom, so your <em>Minecraft</em> blocks will always end up exactly where you place them. The G300 is set to retail for $39.99.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/08/22/click-and-drag-in-style-with-logitechs-g300-gaming-mouse/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Click and drag in style with Logitech's G300 gaming mouse</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/08/22/click-and-drag-in-style-with-logitechs-g300-gaming-mouse/">Click and drag in style with Logitech's G300 gaming mouse</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 22 Aug 2011 04:00:00 EST. "Don't wake the house," the website says, touting the headset's ability to deliver game audio and voice chat through the headphones simultaneously. But <em>you</em> still have to talk for voice chat to work, and, barring some absurd <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/03/16/keep-your-joysound-to-yourself-with-new-microphone-peripheral/">Cone of Silence contraption</a>, that's still going to make noise.<br />
<br />
Regardless of the marketing angle, the headset itself looks pretty nice. It works with both the Xbox 360 and PS3 wirelessly, includes three inputs, and has a noise-canceling mic. All those features come at a price, however. If you want to whisper to your in-game pals while wearing one of these, it's going to run you $150.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/09/29/logitechs-new-xbox-ps3-headset-helps-you-keep-quiet/">Logitech's new Xbox/PS3 headset helps you keep quiet</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 29 Sep 2010 04:30:00 EST. A <a href="http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=228684">CVG</a> source (singular) claims that Logitech is developing a UMD drive add-on for the PSP Go. The source has neither price nor release information, merely stating that the "only problem is that it'll make the PSP a little bulky." Logitech's UK office told the outlet that it's unaware of such a device and that it "may be something the US office is working on." We've contacted both Sony and Logitech for more concrete information.<br /> <br /> Beyond the fact that such an add-on would undermine what the Go represents (not quite the "only" problem, is it?), the likely price of such a device, in addition to the base cost of the PSP Go, would not compare well to the already lower cost of a regular PSP with UMD drive. Now, if the add-on could "install" your old games, that would be something ...<br /> <br /> <strong>Update</strong>: Logitech tells Joystiq: "This is not something that our company is working on."<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/12/02/rumor-logitech-developing-psp-go-umd-add-on/">Logitech denies it's developing PSP Go UMD add-on [update]</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 02 Dec 2009 09:30:00 EST. Following the launch of the Wireless Guitar Controller for <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/05/12/logitech-releases-another-gorgeous-fake-guitar/">PS3/PS2</a> and <a href="http://xbox.joystiq.com/2009/06/18/logitechs-premium-guitar-controller-hits-in-august-carries-hig/">Xbox 360</a>, Logitech is bringing the $199 peripheral to Wii in North America and Europe this October. <br /><br />The controller, which was black in its PS3 incarnation and orange for 360, will have a white body (with room to attach a Wiimote), and the same "maple neck, rosewood fingerboard and metal frets" that help justify the price of the other versions.<br /><br />Logitech is also introducing a Wii version of its $229 Wireless Drum Controller, which is designed to fold up easily, and features both drum pads and kick pedals that are improved over the basic <em>Guitar Hero</em> drums -- which, at that price, they'd <em>better</em> be.<br /><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/09/09/logitechs-high-end-guitar-hero-controllers-headed-to-wii/">Logitech's high-end Guitar Hero controllers headed to Wii</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 09 Sep 2009 13:30:00 EST. Logitech's PS3 and PS2 compatible wireless racing wheel is currently on sale at <a href="http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=9359954&amp;type=product&amp;id=1218090909270&amp;AID=10597222&amp;PID=600263&amp;URL=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.bestbuy.com%2Fsite%2Folspage.jsp%3FskuId%3D9359954%26type%3Dproduct%26id%3D1218090909270&amp;ref=39&amp;loc=01">Best Buy for $49.99</a>, half the peripheral's regular price. While the <a href="http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/gaming/playstation_3/wheels/devices/4565&amp;cl=ca,en">Driving Force Wireless</a> isn't the best wheel in the manufacturer's catalog, it features compatibility with a <a href="http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/265/4703&amp;cl=ca,en">plethora of racing titles</a> and Force Feedback. Logitech's higher-end models feature 900 degrees of rotation, better build quality and enhanced Force Feedback, but demand beefier price tags. If you're looking to add an inexpensive wheel to your regular gear-head gaming sessions, this could be the wheel for you.<br /><br />[Thanks, Ashish]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/06/29/logitech-driving-force-wireless-wheel-half-price-at-best-buy/">Logitech Driving Force wireless wheel half-price at Best Buy</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 29 Jun 2009 23:00:00 EST. We know at least <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VF1JpwHV5Ds">one band</a> who'd endorse it.)<br /><br />Like the PS3 unit, it has a real wooden neck (maple, if you're curious), a rosewood fingerboard and some seriously tough -- yet quiet -- strum and whammy bars. While it's designed with <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/guitar-hero-world-tour">GHWT</a> </em>(and all 70 other <em>Guitar Hero</em> titles) in mind -- hence the slider/tapping area on its neck -- you'd know if you checked out our <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/Instrument-Compatibility-Matrix/">instrument compatibility matrix</a> that it'll work with <em>Rock Band</em>, too. (And <em>Rock Band 2</em> ... too.)</div>

We're not positive, but we think we're over high-end fake guitars. Check out this <a href="http://blog.logitech.com/2009/05/12/wireless-guitar-controller-for-ps3-and-ps2-logitechs-guitar-hero-guitar-is-back-in-black/">Logitech Wireless Guitar Controller</a> for PS3 and PS2 that's <a href="http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/172/5954&amp;cl=us,en">going to arrive in the U.S.</a> this month. That's lovely. The company kept the metal tuning pegs and rosewood fingerboard from the last model with "a few minor construction updates." No complaints here, not even with the $199.99 price tag, which is pricey, but not outrageous.<br /><br />No, even with a gorgeous guitar like this we find ourselves curiously ... unmoved. It's puzzling, but it <em>could</em> be because our den already looks like the rehearsal space for a dwarf version of the Polyphonic Spree. It's hard to say.<br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/logitech-wireless-guitar-controller/">Logitech Wireless Guitar Controller</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/logitech-wireless-guitar-controller/#2009775"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/05/mini-wrls_cntrl_black_v2_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/logitech-wireless-guitar-controller/#2009774"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/05/mini-wrls_cntrl_black_upside_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/logitech-wireless-guitar-controller/#2009773"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/05/mini-wrls_cntrl_black_front_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/logitech-wireless-guitar-controller/#2009772"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/05/mini-wrls_cntrl_black_end_v1_main_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/05/12/logitech-releases-another-gorgeous-fake-guitar/">Logitech releases another gorgeous (fake) guitar</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 12 May 2009 21:15:00 EST. <div align="left">Considering all of the technology Sony managed to cram into PS3, the omission of an IR receiver -- something what was standard on PS2 -- still boggles our minds. Engadget <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2009/03/19/logitech-harmony-adapter-for-playstation-3-answers-a-million-pra/">has stumbled upon</a> an apparent answer to their prayers: a Bluetooth add-on from Logitech that will enable its Harmony remotes to work with PS3.<br /><br />The E-R0001 "PlayStation 3 Harmony Adapter" turned up on <a href="https://fjallfoss.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas/reports/ViewExhibitReport.cfm?mode=Exhibits&amp;RequestTimeout=500&amp;calledFromFrame=N&amp;application_id=489203&amp;fcc_id=%27JNZER0001%27">the FCC's website</a>, but has yet to be formally announced by Logitech. <div align="left">Is your desk just not looking enough like the dashboard of an Imperial TIE fighter? Logitech is seeking to solve what it evidently sees as a common dilemma with its new G-Series gaming peripherals.<br /><br />The offerings are headlined by the G19 keyboard ($199), which features an integrated 320x240 color LCD, presumably for targeting Rebel scum. There's also a 5000DPI G9x mouse ($99) for <em>really </em>accurate kills and a G35 voice headset ($129) that simulates 7.1 audio and, taking a cue from the <em>insanely popular</em> Xbox 360 feature, changes the pitch of your voice, should you so desire. Look for the keyboard and headset in March; the mouse is set to follow in April. As lovers of rhythm games -- frequent instrument protagonists, if you will -- we've grown accustomed to our musical instruments bearing the mark of imitation, the clickety clackety sound of second-rate synthesis. It is with shock and awe then, that we react to <a href="http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/172/5216&amp;&amp;cl=us,en">Logitech's "Premiere Edition" Wireless Guitar</a> for PS2 and PS3, built especially for upcoming fake band sim <em>Guitar Hero World Tour</em>. It costs something to the tune of $250.<br /><br />Designed with realism in mind, the Logitech Wireless Guitar controller boasts "the authentic materials you'd expect to see on a real rock guitar," including metal frets, metal tuning peg handles, a rosewood fingerboard and wood neck. You'll also be able to get your hands around a touch-sensitive neck slider and fret buttons which benefit from quieter, "rubber dome technology." <br /><br />And while we're sure all those enhancements amount to a fantastic play experience, Logitech's director of product marketing for gaming, Ruben Mookerjee, reminds us that it's really just a "I have a bigger penis" thing. <p>We see you. We see you <span style="font-style: italic;">salivating</span> all over your keyboard. If you are a serious <a style="font-style: italic;" href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/gran-turismo-5">Gran Turismo</a> fan, this is the stuff dreams are made of. The winner of the <a href="http://www.gt5prologuechallengeme.com/"><span style="font-style: italic;">Gran Turismo 5 Prologue Middle East Challenge</span></a> Ahmad El Azmi received a free trip to Japan to drive a Nissan GT-R and he took home the above GT Racing Pod. Valued at $15,000, the Racing Pod is equipped with a 40" Sony Bravia TV, a PS3 and a <a id="static_txt_preview" href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0015HYPOO?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=psfa-20&amp;link_code=as3&amp;camp=211189&amp;creative=373489&amp;creativeASIN=B0015HYPOO" name="evtst|a|B0015HYPOO">Logitech Driving Force GT Racing Wheel</a>. <br /></p>

He added a shifter mounter, inverted stand for the pedals, a surround sound system and replaced the DFGT with a <a id="static_txt_preview" href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000GP8448?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=psfa-20&amp;link_code=as3&amp;camp=211189&amp;creative=373489&amp;creativeASIN=B000GP8448" name="evtst|a|B000GP8448">Logitech G25 Racing Wheel</a>. We know what you're thinking: <em>Gawd, another <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/wii-wheel">Wii Wheel</a>?</em> But this one actually does something, we promise. Now, why anyone would jump to purchase a $100 peripheral for a $250 console is the real question that needs answering. (<a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/04/15/its-official-wii-fit-priced-at-90/"><em>Cough, cough</em></a><em>.</em>) But if you truly believe that force feedback is necessary to impress your non-gaming friends the next time they come over, then by all means, check out Logitech's "<a href="http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/gaming/wii/devices/4566&amp;cl=us,en">Speed Force Wireless</a>" Wii wheel when it goes on sale in November. There's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/category/game-night/">Game Night</a> favorite <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/mario-kart-wii/"><em>Mario Kart Wii</em></a>, which <em>is</em> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/04/25/wii-fanboy-review-mario-kart-wii/">really fun</a>, but that already comes with <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/the-evolution-of-the-wii-wheel/735211/">its own wheel</a>, which works surprisingly well. And after that, we have (in order of GameRankings.com score) <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/11/11/first-look-excite-truck/"><em>Excite Truck</em></a>, <em>MX vs. ATV Untamed</em>, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/04/24/speed-racer-videos-show-cars-chasin-after-someone/"><em>Speed Racer</em></a>, and <em>Cars</em>, followed by fourteen other depressing drives.<br /><br />None of which is intended as a slur on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/logitech">Logitech</a>'s new force feedback wheel for the Wii, which actually looks and sounds <em>excellent</em>. Releasing in November for $99.99 (!), the Logitech Speed Force Wireless features built-in gas and brake controls, a comfy-looking expandable lap rest, a wireless USB receiver and, naturally, full force feedback.<br /><br />It is almost certainly the <em>best possible way</em> to play <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/22/were-feeln-traumatised-from-lookn-at-cruisn/"><em>Cruis'n</em></a>, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/03/08/the-best-and-worst-so-far/"><em>GT Pro Series</em></a>, and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/03/12/eidos-confirms-wacky-races-for-wii/"><em>Wacky Races: Crash &amp; Dash</em></a>.<br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/cruisn/">Cruis'n</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/cruisn/#991200"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/nintendo.joystiq.com/media/2008/08/tmpphpd6z0o7_cg_098318025949564102030_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/cruisn/#991199"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/nintendo.joystiq.com/media/2008/08/tmpphp1epfnf_cg_098318025949564102030_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/cruisn/#991198"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/nintendo.joystiq.com/media/2008/08/tmpphpx4rnnq_cg_098318025949564102030_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/cruisn/#991153"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/nintendo.joystiq.com/media/2008/08/cruisn_6_cg_098318025949564102030_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/cruisn/#991152"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/nintendo.joystiq.com/media/2008/08/cruisn_4_cg_098318025949564102030_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br />[Via press release]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/08/21/wiis-first-force-feedback-wheel-looks-great-seems-pointless/">Wii's first force feedback wheel looks great, seems pointless</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 21 Aug 2008 15:38:00 EST. <div align="left">Not to be outdone by <em>Rock Band</em>'s <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/07/12/ion-rock-band-drum-rocker-three-c-notes/">premium drum controller</a>, Activision has announced a collaboration with Logitech to produce a line of "premium instrument controllers." No specific type of controller or prices were given, all we know is they will be "compatible with <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/guitar-hero-world-tour"><em>Guitar Hero: World Tour</em></a>'s advanced feature set" and they will begin arriving "later this year." Bruce Lancaster, the VP of Logitech's gaming business compares their entry into the the market for fake instruments to their entry into the market for <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/07/15/logitech-introduces-ps3-driving-force-wireless-steering-wheel/">fake steering wheels</a>. In an effort to create more realistic fake instruments, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/logitech">Logitech</a> is partnering with Activision on a line of "premium" peripherals for the latter's upcoming<em> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/guitar-hero-world-tour">Guitar Hero World Tour</a></em>. Multiple products are in development, although Logitech would not comment on exactly what they are, confirming only that the first of them will hit this year. Given that it already has the market cornered on USB microphones (nearly every music game's mic is made by Logitech) we're guessing all educated-like that guitars and drums are the core of the lineup. Also, while this news is obviously geared toward hyping <em>World Tour</em>, we're looking into potential <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/rock-band"><em>Rock Band</em></a> compatibility for the products.<br /><br />The peripherals are being designed to work with every platform <em>Guitar Hero World Tour</em> is launching on, specifically PS3, 360, Wii, and PS2. Logitech gaming devices VP Bruce Lancaster likens this move to the one the company made with steering wheels for <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/gran-turismo"><em>Gran Turismo</em></a>, saying, "A few years ago, Logitech refined the consumer steering wheel market with high-end controllers that enhance racing games. Now we are looking forward to elevating the market for premium music-based video game controllers in a similar fashion." Here's hoping that one of the "premium" drumkit features is a steel kick pedal like the one used by our house band, the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/07/18/thank-you-harmonix-nyko-naughty-dog-and-you/">Blueberry Muffintops</a>. One of the most popular and best-reviewed PSP cases is the Playgear Pocket by Logitech. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit the PSP Slim &amp; Lite. Logitech is about to change that with the launch of the PlayGear Pocket Slim next month. It seems to be the same exact case, except sized to fit the PSP-2000. It comes with a skin template that allows you to create your own custom skin. It is still made out of polycarbonate and you still don't have to take it out of the case to use the PSP. It even fits the larger 2200 mAH extended-life battery. <br /><br />It might a <em>little</em> less sturdy though, according to the Logitech site, the <a href="http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/gaming/portable/psp_playstation_portable/devices/305&amp;cl=us,en">original case</a> came with a 2 year warranty; this <a href="http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/gaming/portable/psp_playstation_portable/devices/4567&amp;cl=us,en">new one</a> comes with only a 1 year warranty. Will you be picking this up when it launches in August for $14.99?<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/07/20/logitech-launching-playgear-pocket-slim-next-month/">Logitech launching PlayGear Pocket Slim next month</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sun, 20 Jul 2008 15:00:00 EST. Surfing the 'net on Nintendo's white box 'o joy just got a <em>whole lot easier</em>. Logitech has whipped the covers off of this sleek beast: a cordless Wii keyboard. This bad boy works from up to 30 feet (10 meters) from the console, and comes with dedicated buttons for "Zoom In" and "Zoom Out," "Forward" and "Back", "Quit," and "OK."<br /><br />So there you go: no more painstakingly entering text with the Wiimote. Now, aside from surfing the 'net, what else do we think this might be used for? We'll find out <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/07/11/nintendo-e3-2008-press-conference-lets-play-bingo/">soon enough</a>!<br /><br />[Thanks, Chris!]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/07/15/e308-logitech-unveils-cordless-wii-keyboard/">E308: Logitech unveils cordless Wii keyboard</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 15 Jul 2008 11:34:00 EST. Just moments after Logitech officially announced the new <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/02/20/gdc08-logitech-unveils-official-gran-turismo-wheel/">Driving Force GT for PS3</a>, we rushed over to Sony and gave it a spin. An observer casually noted, "isn't it nice to have rumble on the PS3?" We'd have to agree with this sentiment -- but the Driving Force GT offers much more than just rumble.<br /><br />The wheel feels incredibly sturdy, and offers a surprising amount of resistance when making turns, crashing into walls, and more. The force offered by the wheel rivals those found in arcade cabinets. The wheel makes <em>Gran Turismo 5</em> feel like a completely different game. Playing in cockpit mode with the controller is incredibly immersive. With wheel in hand, this does feel like the "real driving simulator" that <em>GT</em> promises to be.<br /><br />While the wheel is impressive, we were a bit underwhelmed by the pedals, which lack the heft that makes the wheel so impressive. The pedals need a bit more resistance to feel a bit more realistic, and need to be heavier, so they don't move forward so much. Regardless, we're impressed by this incredible effort of bringing home an arcade experience. Considering the asking price ($150), Logitech needed to make a high quality peripheral. We think they succeeded.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/02/20/gdc08-hands-on-with-the-logitech-driving-force-gt/">GDC08: Hands-on with the Logitech Driving Force GT</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 20 Feb 2008 16:15:00 EST. Logitech has today unveiled the Logitech Driving Force GT, the "official wheel of <em>Gran Turismo</em>". Available in May in both America and Europe, the completely over the top (but totally cool) steering wheel will retail for $149.99. There's no suggested European price, but don't expect it to be much less than &pound;100. It'll be totally worth it according to Logitech's Director of Marketing, Ruben Mookerjee, who says that "with the Logitech Driving Force GT, you're not playing games anymore - you're racing!" Hilarious!<br /><br />The Driving Force GT is built especially for <em>Gran Turismo 5 </em>and <em>Prologue</em>, but will also work great with <em>Gran Turismo 3</em> and <em>4</em> on the PS2. It has full force-feedback support and if you want to see what the wheel looks like from all sides, be sure to check out our gallery below. We'll have some hands-on impressions up for you from GDC before too long.<br /><br /><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/02/20/gdc08-logitech-reveals-the-offical-wheel-of-gran-turismo/">GDC08: Logitech reveals the "offical wheel of Gran Turismo"</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 20 Feb 2008 13:45:00 EST. Want the perfect <em>prologue</em> to sim racing's most-distinguished brand? Tack another $150 onto that <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/01/29/gran-turismo-5-prologue-arrives-stateside-april-17/">$40 download</a>, as Logitech has unveiled the official, and <em>pricey</em> Driving Force GT racing wheel. Engineered specifically for <em>Gran Turismo 5 Prologue</em> (but compatible with <em>GT4</em> and <em>GT5</em> on PS2), the Driving Force features requisite force feedback, plus a new 24-position realtime adjustment dial (see -- it's red!), so you can fine-tune the brake bias, traction control and damper settings on-the-fly. <em>Brake bias? Rumor has it that Microsoft plans to purchase the company at a price of 48 francs per share, a 38% increase over the company's Wednesday closing price of 34.80 francs. Our friends at <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/01/10/microsoft-to-buy-logitech">Engadget</a> are skeptical of the rumor, noting that both companies are doing just fine without each other, and furthermore, Engadget sees little advantage for either company in such a deal. Being the 360 fanboys that we are, we see things a little differently. Knowing that Logitech manufactures gaming peripherals -- most notably, gaming mice -- and the rumor flying that Microsoft is trying to <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/12/28/rumorang-microsoft-toying-with-motion-sensitive-controller/">improve right analog stick input</a>, the possible bid makes some sense. Then again, we <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/surface">imagine</a> Microsoft has a pretty hefty R&amp;D department as it is.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2008/01/10/microsoft-to-buy-logitech">Engadget</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/01/10/rumor-microsoft-to-acquire-logitech/">Rumor: Microsoft to acquire Logitech</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 10 Jan 2008 13:30:00 EST. Yeah, we know what you're saying to yourself, "This is a really great deal!" right? Well, it is, but you'll have to do a little more work than usual. To get the wireless <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000O3E05Y?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=prey0f&amp;linkCode=xm2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creativeASIN=B000O3E05Y">Logitech Precision controller</a> for $10, you have to buy it by today and submit a $20 mail-in rebate by the end of January. This deal effectively ends at the last second of the year.<br /><br />Even without the $20 MIR, you'd still be getting the controller for $10 off its listed price of $40, so we'd say this is a pretty darn good deal either way.<br /><br />So if you opened up a shiny new PS3 this Christmas but need an extra controller or two, you can't really get a better deal than this. You just better hop on it before it's too late!<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=165759">CAG</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/12/31/deal-of-the-day-logitech-precision-controller-for-10-at-amazon/">Deal of the day: Logitech Precision controller for $10 at Amazon</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 31 Dec 2007 11:30:00 EST. <span style="float: left; margin-right: 10px; margin-top: 7px;"> <script> var digg_url = 'http://www.digg.com/nintendo_wii/It_s_Logicool_Logitech_s_Wii_keyboard'; </script> <script src="http://digg.com/api/diggthis.js"></script></span> Yesterday, after the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/10/10/nintendo-mysteriously-updates-everybody-votes-opera-throws-the/">update</a> enabling USB keyboards in the web browser was released, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/04/20/logitech-and-nintendo-to-play-nice-peripherals-incoming/">Logitech</a> mentioned that they'd be releasing a special Wii keyboard. We immediately got the crazy idea of a keyboard with a Wii pointer built in, so you can point and click by waving the keyboard around. It was a weirdly practical, and fun, idea. <br /><br />But as always, reality is less awesome than our controller fantasies. Logitech announced that their "new" USB keyboard will be ... the <a href="http://www.logicool.co.jp/index.cfm/keyboards/keyboard/devices/188&amp;cl=jp,ja">Classic Keyboard 200</a>. (pictured above). They added a blurb to the Japanese product page that mentions that it's been tested with the Wii browser and found to work. Which means that you can <a href="http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/keyboards/keyboard/devices/3046&amp;cl=us,en">get the new Wii peripheral</a> <em>right now</em>, because it's <em>just their basic USB keyboard. </em>It only seems to be available in white in Japan, however. Importing might be worth it for you, because in addition to the color, the logo will say "Logicool" (Logitech's Japanese name) which we find <em>hilarious.</em><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/10/11/new-hardware-megaton-logitechs-wii-keyboard/">New hardware MEGATON: Logitech's Wii keyboard</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 11 Oct 2007 18:47:00 EST. Need more accessories that match your PS3's sexy piano black coat? <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/logitech/">Logitech</a> has got your back. Coming soon are a Bluetooth gaming headset and a Bluetooth keyboard with touch pad, both in that shade of black that PS3 owners can't get enough of. The laptop runs on 2 AA batteries, but the headset comes with a rechargeable battery. The <a href="http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/gaming/playstation_3/devices/3675&amp;cl=us,en">Cordless Vantage Headset</a> and the <a href="http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/gaming/playstation_3/devices/3616&amp;cl=us,en">Cordless MediaBoard Pro</a> will retail for $79.99 each.<br /><br />Just a guess, but maybe this Logitech headset is higher quality than the one bundled with <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/warhawk/"><em>Warhawk</em></a>? Hardcore <em>Warhawk</em> fans (or those who bought the download version) might want to keep an eye out for this headset.<br /><br />[via <a href="http://www.pocket-lint.co.uk/news/news.phtml/10095/11119/Logitech-Cordless-Headset-Keyboard-PS3.phtml">Pocket-lint</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/09/13/logitechs-shiny-bluetooth-keyboard-and-headset/">Logitech's shiny Bluetooth keyboard and headset</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 13 Sep 2007 17:30:00 EST. At least, that's what Chris Spearing, UK and Ireland manager for Logitech, seemed to think. His company still has yet to formally announce the identity of their <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/04/20/logitech-and-nintendo-to-play-nice-peripherals-incoming/">first Wii product</a>, but the discussion seems to be turning towards a Wiimote substitute. <br /><br />Speaking about the issue of rumble versus motion controls, Spearing said "Having the motion-sensing in the Sixaxis, that really works for some games. And for the Wii - you've seen people rush out and buy the Wii for that realism, if you're swinging a tennis racket, you know how to do it." He then went on to mention that "Hopefully we'll be at the forefront of pushing that further, combining some of the two."<br /><br />We'd assume that Spearing was talking about a PS3 controller design if not for the title of the GamesIndustry.biz story: "Logitech to create Wiimote rival?" If he is indeed talking about the Wii, he should check it out sometime-- he may be impressed with the controller.<br /><br />Once they get their technological issues straightened out (i.e. figure out what technology <em>is</em> in the controller), we'd love to see Logitech's take on the Wii controller. Their hardware is top-notch, and often <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Sony-Playstation-Cordless-Action-Controller/dp/B0001VNNE8">outclasses standard controllers</a>.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/30/logitech-planning-third-party-wiimote/">Logitech planning third-party Wiimote?</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 30 Aug 2007 15:40:00 EST. We'd love to watch anyone with this controller play <em>Folklore</em> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/06/01/new-folklore-demo-is-great-let-us-tell-you-why/">once it comes out</a>. Yeah, having trouble capturing those souls? It's because the darn thing doesn't have any motion-sensing technology in it. They gave it rumble, though. This brings us back to our original point -- this controller is <em>not</em> a PlayStation 3 controller, rather, a wireless PlayStation 3 compatible controller to play your PS2 games with the rumble goodness you so dearly miss.<br /><br />For $40 and the added joy of repeated AA battery purchases (50 hour battery life? Hats off, if possible), did Logitech really think this peripheral through before releasing it to the masses? If it's going to be a PlayStation 3 controller, it should include both rumble and motion. It's called <em>forward-thinking</em>. PS3 will have rumble eventually, but motion is an integral part of the system. Bottom line: if you want to play your PS2 games wirelessly on the PS3 with rumble, this is a decent option. Don't try to <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/04/13/lair-july-demo-probably-july-too/">play <em>Lair</em> with it, though</a>. Your dragon will never, ever, ever move.<br /><br />[via <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/06/13/logitechs-ps3-controller-no-motion-but-yes-to-rumble/">Joystiq</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/06/14/logitech-ps3-controller-alternative-or-shenanigans/">Logitech: PS3 controller alternative, or shenanigans?</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 14 Jun 2007 10:30:00 EST. IGN recently got some time with the Logitech Cordless Precision for PlayStation 3. The controller costs $10 less than the official $50 Sixaxis controller and is very similar to <a href="http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/gaming/playstation_2/controllers/&amp;cl=us,en">their famous PS2 wireless controllers</a>, which worked quite well. This controller should also not be confused with the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/10/05/logitech-fills-empty-ps3-pad-with-air/">air-blowing PS3 wired controller</a> Logitech previously released.<br /><br />This <a href="http://gear.ign.com/articles/795/795971p1.html">new controller</a> (pictured) is heavier than the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/Sixaxis/">Sixaxis</a> and uses two AA batteries, giving 50 hours of play according to Logitech. The most bizarre thing going on with this controller is it doesn't have any motion control built into it, but it does come with rumble -- a feature that none of the PS3 games use. Of course, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/24/psm-sixaxis-will-rumble-this-year/">in time</a>, the rumble will come back to Sony, but it is funny that Logitech placed rumble importance over getting the motion control feature license. For all we know at this point, Logitech made the right bet.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/06/13/logitechs-ps3-controller-no-motion-but-yes-to-rumble/">Logitech's PS3 controller: No motion, but yes to rumble</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 13 Jun 2007 17:55:00 EST. The list, <a href="http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/46658">as unfurled</a> by Chris Remo of Shacknews, represents the exact opposite of E3 in many ways. It's short, manageable and entirely devoid of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/05/13/paging-dr-booth-babe/">scantily-clad ladies</a>. And we just lost half the readers with that last link, didn't we? <br /><br />For those that use tabbed browsing: Remo observes that the list has gone from bursting with over 400 exhibitors last year, to containing a mere 33 this year. Of those, two are independent developers (<a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/idsoftware">id Software</a> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/foundation9">Foundation 9 Entertainment</a>) and two are peripheral manufacturers (<a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/nyko">Nyko Technologies</a> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/logitech">Logitech</a>). Despite the list being primarily filled with major publishers, the event will also host the <a href="http://www.indiecade.com/">IndieCade</a> festival, an independent games showcase. <br /><br />While July's Min-E3 represents a welcome departure from the lax <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/03/11/e3-invites-whats-the-logic/">entry requirements</a> and inhibitive masses of E3, its reduction to a series of meetings with a focused group of publishers still seems tragically dull when compared to the glitz and <em>clamor</em> of previous spectacles. It's clear that smaller industry groups aren't well represented either, but then, there's only so much room in an <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/10/13/min-e3-takes-off-lands-in-santa-monica-hangar/">aircraft hangar</a>. The full list of exhibitors can be found in the second part of the post.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/04/23/min-e3-exhibitor-list-shows-signs-of-shrinkage/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Min-E3 exhibitor list shows signs of shrinkage</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/04/23/min-e3-exhibitor-list-shows-signs-of-shrinkage/">Min-E3 exhibitor list shows signs of shrinkage</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 23 Apr 2007 19:02:00 EST. Companies such as Ubisoft, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/ea">EA</a> and now Logitech, are shifting their focus to Nintendo's latest console, offering more unique products for that console than they would the competition. <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/search/?q=ubisoft">Ubisoft</a> and EA are bringing the games, but what about some nice peripheral action?<br /><br />That's where Logitech comes in, as they have revealed they've got some stuff in the works for the Wii. Nothing has been confirmed yet, but we know what you guys want: USB keyboard, right? We'd love one too, so let's hope that Logitech, who is wide known for some of the best wireless keyboards and mice in the PC game, can at least hook it up with a USB keyboard. <br /><br />We'd say wireless for the Wii, but that might be asking too much ...<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/04/20/logitech-and-nintendo-to-play-nice-peripherals-incoming/">Logitech and Nintendo to play nice, peripherals incoming</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 20 Apr 2007 13:30:00 EST. Basically, if it's better than <a href="http://nerdiphythesoul.com/crap/myspace/214739118644205b3a46b8a.swf">whack the fly</a>, we're impressed. Those low standards notwithstanding, Logitech's <a href="http://www.jellyjumper.com/">Jelly Jump</a> is actually pretty good.<br /><br />It seems incredibly simple at first -- just use the arrow keys to jump around an on-screen keyboard, hitting the green keys as quickly as possible. But a variety of hazard keys and some clever level design means the action gets tough pretty quickly. The game automatically saves your progress for a later play session, which is good, because getting the best scores on all 50 levels might take a while.<br /><br />Sure, there's a coupon for Logitech keyboard if you get through the first ten levels, but we would play this game even without the promise of a good deal. And for an advertising game, that's saying something.<br /><br />[Thanks stupidiot]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/04/05/logitech-blob-jumping-advergame-actually-good/">Logitech blob-jumping advergame actually good</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 05 Apr 2007 22:55:00 EST. It's a wireless (Bluetooth or proprietary?) keyboard with a built-in trackpad and vertical scrollbar, expected to retail for $80. Yeah, that's it. </span><span class="blacksm"></span>Of course, if $80 is too rich for your blood, you can always get a wireless keyboard that uses a USB dongle or wait for an update enabling Bluetooth keyboards. According to CNET's PS3 <a href="http://reviews.cnet.com/Sony_PlayStation_3_60GB/4505-6464_7-31355103.html">review</a>, "The system will eventually allow you to pair the PS3 with a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse ... It's unclear whether all Bluetooth keyboards, past and present, will be compatible, but Sony assures us that many will." We just wanna make sure you've considered all your options is all.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.engadget.com/2007/01/04/logitechs-new-cordless-mediaboard-keyboard-for-ps3-eat-that-ph/">Engadget</a>]<br /><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/01/05/logitech-cordless-mediaboard-for-ps3-hint-its-a-keyboard/">Logitech Cordless MediaBoard for PS3 (hint: it's a keyboard)</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 05 Jan 2007 12:21:00 EST. The top prize is a $3,000 Vigor gaming rig outfitted with Logitech's G15 gaming keyboard, G5 mouse, and Z-5500 speakers. Best of all, the system's pimped out with <em>Dark Messiah</em> branding so that orc will be staring at you with his beady little eyes even when you're not playing the game. You have until November 30 to enter online.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/10/24/win-a-dark-messiah-pc-from-vigor-logitech/">Win a Dark Messiah PC from Vigor, Logitech</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 24 Oct 2006 16:30:00 EST. Maybe it was just that their previous gamepads were selling wireless to a wired world, or perhaps the good folks at Logitech just felt weird about building a gamepad that felt so <em>light</em>; either way, they've decided to give their new <span class="blacksm">ChillStream</span> controller a little something extra to distinguish it from the me-toos in the third-party controller rat race.<br /><br />Yup, they added fans into the controller, to keep your sweaty mitts cool. If this strikes you as an especially gimmicky move for one of the more reputable peripheral manufacturers, you're not alone dear reader. Maybe the extra weight and a potentially lower third-party cost will be enough to drive frugal gamers into the arms of the ChillStream ... or is that ChillStream into the arms of frugal gamers? The controller doesn't have rumble, it presumably has motion sensitivity, it doesn't appear to be wireless -- oh yeah, it has fans -- and it carries a suggested retail sticker price of $39.99. How much is that "<a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/10/05/sony-says-no-immersion-says-yes/">affordable</a>" first-party controller going to be?<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://crunchgear.com/2006/10/05/logitech-to-cool-sweaty-palms-of-ps3-users-make-america-safe/">CrunchGear</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/10/05/logitech-fills-empty-ps3-pad-with-air/">Logitech fills lightweight PS3 pad with air</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 05 Oct 2006 16:45:00 EST. A giant PSP, which was used to display PSP games and videos, that was erected in New York last spring has met its bitter end and has been dismantled.<br /><br />The ol' girl had a good run, though, and this is not the time to be sad. The over-sized system has gone to PSP heaven, which just so happens to be the same place all the <a href="http://psp.about.com/od/pspglossary/g/brickeddef.htm">bricked PSPs</a> go.<br /><br />There's been no definitive word on why the PSP has been taken down, but the person who submitted the photo to Kotaku said it was barely visible during the day, which may have played a hand in its downfall. I guess Sony should have invested in a giant <a href="http://logitech.com">Logitech</a> case, eh?<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://kotaku.com">Kotaku</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/08/25/giant-psp-in-new-york-dismantled/">Giant PSP in New York dismantled</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 25 Aug 2006 13:00:00 EST.
