We prefer <a href="http://www.onesixthwarriors.com/forum/search.php?searchid=1827200">One Sixth Warriors</a> forum user elvis1976's solution: make your own badass, custom action figures.<br /><br />elvis1976 created four different figures: The Pain, The End, The Fury and Gray Fox, the cyber-ninja that appeared in <em>Metal Gear Solid</em>. A lot of love went into crafting each beautiful figure, which resemble their in-game counterparts with downright impressive accuracy. Crawl past the break and see for yourself.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/07/11/custom-metal-gear-solid-3-snake-eater-figures-shouldnt-hide-in/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Custom Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater figures shouldn't hide in a box</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/07/11/custom-metal-gear-solid-3-snake-eater-figures-shouldnt-hide-in/">Custom Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater figures shouldn't hide in a box</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 11 Jul 2012 02:30:00 EST. What's the point of applying a score to a game that's old enough to be enrolled in the sixth grade? That's why we invented <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/deja-review">Deja Review</a>: A quick look at the new features and relative agelessness of remade, revived and re-released games.</small></font><hr /><center> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/02/28/deja-review-metal-gear-solid-snake-eater-3d/"><img border="1" hspace="4" src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/02/snakeeater228.png" vspace="4" /></a></center>After a really shaky E3 demo, I was worried about how Konami's 3DS remake of <em>Metal Gear Solid 3 </em>was going to turn out. I'm entirely willing to replay this game -- one of my favorite games ever -- on every platform Konami will sell it to me on, so I was hoping to at least have a good experience when dutifully playing it on the handheld.<br /><br />To my relief, <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/metal-gear-solid-3d-snake-eater"><em>Metal Gear Solid 3D</em></a> is a real, playable, enjoyable version of the game, and it's on a handheld. Even without the crutch of a Circle Pad Pro attachment, the controls work fine! There are some compromises thanks to the small format -- but there are also a few things that the 3DS version does <em>better</em>.<br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/metal-gear-solid-3-snake-eater-3d-tgs-2011/">Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater 3D (TGS 2011)</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/metal-gear-solid-3-snake-eater-3d-tgs-2011/#4454301"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2011/09/mgsse3dssd02_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/metal-gear-solid-3-snake-eater-3d-tgs-2011/#4454302"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2011/09/mgsse3dssu02_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/metal-gear-solid-3-snake-eater-3d-tgs-2011/#4454303"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2011/09/mgsse3d001_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/metal-gear-solid-3-snake-eater-3d-tgs-2011/#4454304"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2011/09/mgsse3d002_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/metal-gear-solid-3-snake-eater-3d-tgs-2011/#4454305"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2011/09/mgsse3d003_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/02/28/deja-review-metal-gear-solid-snake-eater-3d/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Deja Review: Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/02/28/deja-review-metal-gear-solid-snake-eater-3d/">Deja Review: Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 28 Feb 2012 19:00:00 EST. The first NES Ambassador game for 3DS is now available for purchase by non-Ambassadors! <em>Super Mario Bros.</em> is on the eShop now for five bucks. And if you already have it through the Ambassador Program, you can get a free update to add multiplayer and save states!<br /><br />There's also news for the Wii's Virtual Console: the Genesis version of Strider can be purchased today. We hadn't heard about a Genesis VC game in a while, so we looked into it. As far as we can tell, this is the first Genesis game on Wii in North America since <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/02/15/vc-in-brief-sonic-and-knuckles-sega-genesis/"><em>Sonic &amp; Knuckles</em></a>, on February 15, 2010. It's been two years and a day since the last Genesis VC release.<br /><br />In fact, this appears to be the first Wii Virtual Console release of <em>any</em> kind since <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/08/25/nintendoware-weekly-gargoyles-quest-the-ignition-factor/">The Ignition Factor</a> </em>six months ago. Enjoy it! This doesn't happen very often.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/02/16/nintendoware-weekly-metal-gear-solid-3d-demo-strider/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>NintendoWare Weekly: Metal Gear Solid 3D demo, Strider</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/02/16/nintendoware-weekly-metal-gear-solid-3d-demo-strider/">NintendoWare Weekly: Metal Gear Solid 3D demo, Strider</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 16 Feb 2012 12:30:00 EST. Nintendo is delivering on its <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/01/18/3ds-demos-coming-to-eshop-in-north-america-starting-with-reside/">promise</a> of a <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/metal-gear-solid-3-snake-eater-3d"><em>Snake Eater 3D</em></a> demo in North America this Thursday.<br /><br />Players will get to experience the beginning of the "Virtuous Mission," in which Naked Snake sets out through the jungle on a rescue mission. If you have a Circle Pad Pro, you'll want to connect it for this.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/02/14/metal-gear-solid-3d-demo-coming-to-3ds-eshop-this-week/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Metal Gear Solid 3D demo coming to 3DS eShop this week</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/02/14/metal-gear-solid-3d-demo-coming-to-3ds-eshop-this-week/">Metal Gear Solid 3D demo coming to 3DS eShop this week</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 14 Feb 2012 18:50:00 EST. We've gotten our eyes on the limited edition <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/metal-gear-solid-3-snake-eater-3d"><em>Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater</em></a> 3DS once before, but <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/12/29/the-metal-gear-solid-snakeskin-3ds-is-not-to-be-eaten/">only a shallow glance</a> offered via Hideo Kojima's cell phone. Frankly, we wanted a better look, and now we've got it. Feast your eyes on that snakeskin embossed bad boy above! Hoo-ah!<br />
<br />
Unfortunately for us outside Japan, there won't be a lot of opportunity to actually purchase the unit. That kind of goes for the folks in Japan as well, as the only way to even have a chance to purchase the unit is by winning a raffle offered by Konami in February. The bundle will run &yen;22,980 ($298) for those lucky enough to grab one, and it'll come with the game itself, the fancy 3DS, a "snake-styled" 3DS, and two ... folders. Like, the kind you use in high school, except they have <em>MGS3</em> characters on them.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/01/20/metal-gear-solid-3ds-slithers-into-view-looks-snazzy/">Metal Gear Solid 3DS slithers into view, looks snazzy</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 20 Jan 2012 13:00:00 EST. Downloadable 3DS demos were promised as part of the last big firmware update. They started showing up in Japan in <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/12/26/3ds-demos-available-in-japan-today-including-re-revelations-m/">December</a>, and they're finally making their way to North America, starting with tomorrow's demo of <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/resident-evil-revelations"><em>Resident Evil: Revelations</em></a>.<br />
<br />

Someday, you'll feed on a tree frog ... in 3D. That day could be as soon as Febuary 21. Today, Konami revealed that to be the North American release date for <em>Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D.</em> Europe follows on March 8 -- the same day the remade spy epic parachutes into Japan.<br />
<br />
<em>Snake Eater 3D</em> features compatibility with the Circle Pad Pro accessory, which will be released in North America exclusively to GameStop stores on February 7. It also features compatibility with the 3DS's built-in features, like the gyro sensor and the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/08/12/metal-gear-solid-3ds-photo-camouflage-system-photographed/">camera</a>.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/01/10/metal-gear-solid-snake-eater-3d-served-feb-21-in-north-america/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D served Feb. 21 in North America, March 8 in Europe</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/01/10/metal-gear-solid-snake-eater-3d-served-feb-21-in-north-america/">Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D served Feb. 21 in North America, March 8 in Europe</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 10 Jan 2012 13:35:00 EST. Despite its subtitle, <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/metal-gear-solid-3-snake-eater-3d">Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater</a> </em>should not encourage you to consume the snakeskin-embossed Nintendo 3DS coming out alongside the game in Japan. For starters, the device is a piece of electronics, and on top of that it's a rare, cool-looking <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/12/28/metal-gear-solid-3d-hardware-bundle-inflitrating-japan/">limited edition 3DS</a>.<br />
<br />
Konami has yet to give the 3DS a full reveal, but the above image was teased via <a href="https://twitter.com/#!/Kojima_Hideo/status/152285338352627712">Hideo Kojima's Twitter account</a>, like most things MGS these days. We'll keep an eye out for any other images slithering onto the internet before the game launches on March 8.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/12/29/the-metal-gear-solid-snakeskin-3ds-is-not-to-be-eaten/">The Metal Gear Solid snakeskin 3DS is not to be eaten</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 29 Dec 2011 11:15:00 EST. The <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/12/27/metal-gear-solid-3d-accessories-increase-your-3ds-camo-index/">Hori accessory kit</a> won't be the only way for Japanese customers to outwardly display their love of <em>Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D</em>. Kojima Productions' Jiroo Tsubuyaki tweeted that Nintendo plans to release a 3DS hardware bundle for the title, which comes out March 8 in Japan.<br />
<br />
The design has yet to be finalized, so Tsubuyaki didn't have any pictures to share. However, we can already tell you that it's going to make us want to buy a Japanese 3DS and a copy of a game we're still worried about.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/12/28/metal-gear-solid-3d-hardware-bundle-inflitrating-japan/">Metal Gear Solid 3D hardware bundle infiltrating Japan</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 28 Dec 2011 10:55:00 EST. Your 3DS doesn't have to be naked while playing <a href="http://metal-gear-solid-3d-snake-eater"><em>Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D</em></a>. Accessory company Hori is releasing a suite of themed 3DS accessories, with which you can outfit your handheld to prepare it for the rigors of CQC.<br />
<br />
The Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D Accessory Set includes an olive drab pouch for the system and games, a set of camo stickers for the interior of the system, a "Protect Cover" for the exterior featuring Yoji Shinkawa's character art, and a stylus on a lanyard.<br />
<br />
In Japan, the Accessory Set will retail for &yen;2,981, out alongside the game on March 8. Hori accessories are often released stateside, to retailers like Amazon as well as Hori's own <a href="http://stores.horiusa.com/StoreFront.bok">store</a>, so it's quite likely you'll be able to do some on-site procurement of your own accessories.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/12/27/metal-gear-solid-3d-accessories-increase-your-3ds-camo-index/">Metal Gear Solid 3D accessories increase your 3DS camo index</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 27 Dec 2011 11:00:00 EST. One Japanese retailer (via <a href="http://www.siliconera.com/2011/12/18/metal-gear-solid-snake-eater-3d-has-fps-mode-and-crouch-walking/">Siliconera</a>) is saying there are a few more surprises in store for <em>Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D</em> players. Outside of what <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/06/10/mgs-3-snake-eater-3d-preview-awkward-snake/">the hardware brings to the table</a>, it appears Konami has added some new gameplay elements -- specifically, Snake can now walk while crouching, and a pair of new camera options are available.<br />
<br />
First, there's a first-person mode -- we assume that means players can go through the whole game in first-person view. In addition to that, there's also a new over-the-shoulder option listed. The translated page <span style="">reads: "In addition, the adoption of squatting movement, the camera over his shoulder, and also includes FPS mode to optimize system operation and safety for beginners MGS!</span>"<br />
<br />
We contacted Konami to confirm, but was given the generic "no comment" response. <p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/12/20/rumor-mgs-snake-eater-3d-has-new-control-options/">Rumor: MGS Snake Eater 3D has even more control options</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 20 Dec 2011 01:00:00 EST. You'll be able to get your hands - and specifically your right hand - on the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/circle-pad-pro">Circle Pad Pro</a> in the US on February 7th, when the peripheral goes on sale exclusively at GameStop for $19.99. That's a full two weeks before the PlayStation Vita reminds portable gamers why a second analog stick is so important.<br />
<br />
In addition to the obvious second stick, the Circle Pad Pro adds "additional shoulder buttons to give it a feel more akin to traditional console controllers." You'll get to put those shoulder buttons and that second stick to work playing both <em>Resident Evil Revelations</em> - which is <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/10/31/a-circle-pad-revelation-for-resident-evil-revelations/">much better with the peripheral</a> - and <em>Metal Gear Solid 3D: Snake Eater</em>, which is targeted for a loose Q1 2012 release. While both <em>Revelations</em> and the Circle Pad Pro share a February 7th release, they don't appear to share Europe's "<a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/11/30/resident-evil-revelations-bundled-with-circle-pad-pro-in-europe/">special limited edition</a>" bundle offering. That's alright, you're probably waiting for the inevitable redesign with the second stick built-in, right?<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/12/13/circle-pad-pro-gloms-onto-the-3ds-on-feb-7-exclusively-at-games/">Circle Pad Pro gloms onto 3DS on Feb. 7, exclusively at GameStop for $20</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 13 Dec 2011 08:45:00 EST. Japan will know The Joy of playing <em>Metal Gear Solid 3</em> again on March 8: that's when the wait for <em><a href="http://joystiq.com/game/metal-gear-solid-snake-eater-3d">Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D</a> </em>comes to The End. The date was announced at a press event last night and posted to the official Japanese <a href="http://www.konami.jp/mgs_se/jp/">website</a> today, leaving us to feel only The Pain of jealousy.<br />
<br />
Of course, given our <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/06/10/mgs-3-snake-eater-3d-preview-awkward-snake/">experience</a> with the 3DS port at E3, it's quite possible that playing the game would only cause The Fury and The Sorrow. The 3DS Circle Pad Pro, which is compatible with <em>Snake Eater 3D</em>, should at least help allay some of The Fear we have about the controls.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/11/22/metal-gear-solid-snake-eater-3d-drops-into-japan-march-8/">Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D drops into Japan March 8</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 22 Nov 2011 16:33:00 EST. <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/metal-gear-solid-3-snake-eater"><em>Metal Gear Solid 3D: Snake Eater</em></a> will arrive in 2012, according to series creator Hideo Kojima. The detail confirms <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/07/26/rumor-metal-gear-solid-3-snake-eater-3d-to-be-released-in-2012/">wonky words</a> from Konami in late July that the game wouldn't make its announced 2011 launch.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://andriasang.com/comy8m/">Andriasang</a> also reported that Kojima gave an "early to mid 2012" release window for the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/06/02/konami-reveals-metal-gear-solid-zone-of-the-enders-silent-hill/"><em>Zone of the Enders HD Collection</em></a>. The <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/metal-gear-solid-hd-collection"><em>Metal Gear Solid HD Collection</em></a> will launch in Japan on November 23, with the North American launch "this winter."<br />

Konami's media offerings at Gamescom include a new look at the upcoming <em><a href="http://joystiq.com/game/silent-hill-downpour">Silent Hill: Downpour</a>.</em> After the break, you'll find a gallery full of new screens that are creepy, dark, atmospheric, and <em>dark</em>.<br />
<br />
Konami also included new screenshots of all three updated games in the <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/metal-gear-solid-hd-collection"><em>Metal Gear Solid HD Collection</em></a>. You can really tell the difference between the graphical capabilities of <em>Metal Gear Solid 2</em> and <em>3</em> when both have been amplified! There's also new media for <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/metal-gear-solid-3d-snake-eater"><em>Metal Gear Solid 3D</em></a>, <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/doctor-lautrec-and-the-forgotten-knights"><em>Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights</em></a>, and more.<br />
<br />
Oh, and keep an eye out for a surprise guest appearance by Megadeth!<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/08/18/konami-media-roundup-silent-hill-and-so-many-metal-gears/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Konami media roundup: Silent Hill and so many Metal Gears</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/08/18/konami-media-roundup-silent-hill-and-so-many-metal-gears/">Konami media roundup: Silent Hill and so many Metal Gears</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 18 Aug 2011 14:40:00 EST. <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/metal-gear-solid-3d-snake-eater"><em>Metal Gear Solid 3D: Snake Eater</em></a> has one advantage over its console counterparts: a fun new camouflage system that lets you dress Snake in camo based on pictures taken with the 3DS camera. Hideo Kojima grabbed some shopping bags to use as examples, posting two pictures on Twitter.<br />
<br />
If the new 3DS port includes an added mission that takes place behind the counter of a Tower Records, Kojima's going to have no problem. Alternately, if you live in either a jungle or a decommissioned Soviet weapons facility, you'll basically be playing in easy mode.<div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/metal-gear-solid-3d-snake-eater-photo-camo/">Metal Gear Solid 3D: Snake Eater (Photo camo)</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/metal-gear-solid-3d-snake-eater-photo-camo/#4361682"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2011/08/25jmc_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/metal-gear-solid-3d-snake-eater-photo-camo/#4361685"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2011/08/ug2ho-1313159379_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/08/12/metal-gear-solid-3ds-photo-camouflage-system-photographed/">Metal Gear Solid 3D's photo camouflage system photographed</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 12 Aug 2011 13:30:00 EST. There really isn't a lot to say about <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/metal-gear-solid-3-snake-eater"><em>Metal Gear Solid 3D: Snake Eater</em></a>. It's the same game that debuted on the PlayStation 2 over six years ago. Well, that's true for the most part. There are a few 3DS additions -- and some necessary control changes, but for the most part it's an enhanced port without too many surprises.<br />
