It looks a bit like Fuzion Frenzy and Dead Rising met in a dark alley, fought with each other for awhile, and then decided to team up and be friends.

The game features some added elements like players being able to combine items into more powerful weapons, and four-player cooperative gameplay (which we'd like to see a lot more of). Unfortunately one of the added elements doesn't appear to be "incredible looking graphics." The game is supposedly inspired by Zombies Ate My Neighbors, but looks more like Zombies Ate My Development Budget.

</sm></sm>Check out the gameplay video after the jump and you'll see what we mean. The game has a mid-April release date, so who knows what'll happen between now and then. Strangers things have happened when dealing with zombies.

We shot some great video that will be up on the site as soon as it's ready. We also managed to get a private screening of the game thanks to the people at EA Games. Randall will be doing a full write-up of the game play experience later today, but I just wanted to share one little cool thing in the room where they hosted the preview: Figurines of creatures different Spore designers built in the game and then printed out as three dimensional models (like the guy pictured above). Check below the jump for more pics...
