"Blap! Blap! Blap!" she'd shout. And things really haven't been the same since you traded up to a Vita, what with its lack of support for many PSP titles. <em>We understand</em>.<br /><br />Thankfully, so does Sony. This morning, the US PlayStation blog announced today's launch of several PSP games on the Vita (including Grandma's fave), as well as a variety of PSP Minis (full list after the break). As usual, if you already own the games digitally for your PSP, all you'll have to do is re-download the files to your PSN-tied Vita. If not, well, you'll have to pony up some virtual cash.<br /><br />Interestingly, Sony also mentioned "improved playability" for some titles beyond the up-res'd graphics - we're checking to see what exactly that means. The line has since been removed from Sony's blog post.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/15/finally-you-can-play-cho-aniki-zero-on-your-vita-finally/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Finally, you can play Cho Aniki Zero on your Vita (finally!)</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/15/finally-you-can-play-cho-aniki-zero-on-your-vita-finally/">Finally, you can play Cho Aniki Zero on your Vita (finally!)</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 15 May 2012 22:00:00 EST. <div align="left"> Ubisoft will put out a free Fan Pack for the tactical FPS game <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/rainbow-six-vegas-2"><em>Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2</em></a> according to their <a href="http://rainbowsixgame.us.ubi.com/news.php">website</a>, and you can download this via PSN starting in July. It will introduce a new gameplay option named High Stakes, which makes the game much more difficult -- radars, aim assistance and health regeneration are all out the window. Ammunition will be scarce and accuracy during moving will be lower. <br /><br />Furthermore, there will be three remixed levels: Calypso Casino of the original <em>Rainbow Six Vegas</em>, dark Murdertown and dark CQB Training. Lastly, there will be tweaks, balancing, features, new spawning and chat options, new ranks and new A.C.E.S. levels. <br /><br />Full list of features are on <a href="http://www.gamespot.com/news/6193112.html">Ubisoft's site</a>. We are glad they haven't given up on the game, but will we be able to forgive their earlier <em>special </em>PS3 <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/03/23/rainbow-six-vegas-2-plagued-by-online-issues/">"exclusives"</a>?<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.gamespot.com/news/6193112.html">GameSpot</a>]</div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/06/28/high-stakes-introduced-by-rainbow-six-vegas-2-dlc/">High Stakes introduced by Rainbow Six Vegas 2 DLC</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sat, 28 Jun 2008 16:05:00 EST. And again, they caused us to chuckle uncontrollably.<br /><br />The first promo vid takes on <span style="font-style: italic;">Gears of War</span>'s unforgettable <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/10/25/new-gow-trailer-pulls-at-your-heartstrings/">"Mad World" trailer</a>, where the B Company crew comes up with their own, more happy rendition that incorporates a musical injection of shortening bread. High-larious! The <span style="font-style: italic;">Rainbow Six</span> parody, embedded after the break, is also enjoyable as it mocks the over exaggerated, charades-style communication style <em>RS </em>soldiers are known for. You must admit, that even if you aren't interested in the game, it's refreshing to see EA and DICE take this kind of entertaining marketing approach. They get the X3F seal of approval.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/06/21/battlefield-bad-company-trailers-parody-gears-of-war-rainbow-s/">Joystiq</a>]<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/06/22/bad-company-parodies-gears-and-rainbow-six/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Bad Company parodies Gears and Rainbow Six</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/06/22/bad-company-parodies-gears-and-rainbow-six/">Bad Company parodies Gears and Rainbow Six</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sun, 22 Jun 2008 12:45:00 EST. High price assassin FTW!<br /><br />Today is Sunday, which means we get to look through the all the Sunday deals to spot some of the best gaming deals. We like to think of ourselves as high price assassins whose goal is to rid the world of corporate foolery and deny high priced gaming goods from making it to store shelves. That's just how we roll.<br /><br />Speaking of being an assassin, we discovered that Best Buy has <a href="http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8438032&amp;st=assassins&amp;type=product&amp;id=1182557871378"><em>Assassin's Creed</em></a> and <em><a href="http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8523449&amp;st=kane+lynch&amp;lp=1&amp;type=product&amp;cp=1&amp;id=1186007074879">Kane &amp; Lynch: Dead Men</a></em> for $39 and also priced the original <em><a href="http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8115906&amp;st=rainbow+six&amp;lp=5&amp;type=product&amp;cp=1&amp;id=1158318674475">Rainbow Six Vegas</a></em> at $29. Also, being stealth like a kitten, we noticed that Toys R Us has placed a $49 price tag on <em><a href="http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2792423">Guitar Hero III</a></em> (game only) and we spotted Circuit City giving away free "DENIED" boxers (the kind you wear) with the purchase of <em><a href="http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Conflict-Denied-Ops-Xbox-360-788687200547/sem/rpsm/oid/200265/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do">Conflict: Denied Ops</a></em>. <strike>We tried to sneak into Canada's Best Buy stores for some high price murdering, but security prevented our entry and thus, no savings justice could be made.</strike><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/02/10/sunday-brings-assassins-deals-and-boxers-too/">Sunday brings Assassin's deals and boxers too [update]</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sun, 10 Feb 2008 12:00:00 EST. "We really feel that the story of Vegas is done. We've explored as much of Vegas as we wanted. For now, we're pretty much covered with Vegas," said Therien. Therien added that having <em>Rainbow Six</em> focus on a single city worked well, but that the team is unsure if future installments will be based on a similar concept. So, if you want more <em>Vegas</em>, your last shot hits shelves on March 21. Next stop, <em>Rainbow Six <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stringtown%2C_Oklahoma">Stringtown</a></em>.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/02/08/rainbow-six-dev-we-will-never-go-back-to-vegas/">Joystiq</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/02/08/rainbow-six-wont-see-vegas-again/">Rainbow Six won't see Vegas again</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 08 Feb 2008 17:30:00 EST. Don't expect a <em>Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 3</em> anytime soon. Speaking to <a href="http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=92317">Eurogamer</a>, designer Philippe Therien said, "We will never go back to Vegas - at least, not in the foreseeable future." So much for the "rescue four hooker witnesses from a back alley full of out-of-town drunkards" mission we've been dying to play.<br /><br />Therien also noted that, although the single location worked well for the story of the previous two games, he's not sure if they'll return to that format for the next <em>Rainbow Six</em> installment. (Make no mistake, no one expects this to be the last <em>Rainbow Six</em> title.) The glamorous, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/12/20/new-rainbow-six-vegas-2-teaser-now-glam-free-time-paradoxical/">time-paradoxical</a> <em>Rainbow Six: Vegas 2</em> is due out <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/02/05/rainbow-six-vegas-2-cashes-in-march-21/">March 21</a>.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/02/08/rainbow-six-dev-we-will-never-go-back-to-vegas/">Rainbow Six dev: 'We will never go back to Vegas'</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 08 Feb 2008 15:10:00 EST. This teaser offers even less of the game than <em>Duke Nukem Forever's</em> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/12/19/duke-nukem-forever-teaser-perpetuates-cycle-of-non-delivery/">recent sighting</a>, opting instead to show a few seconds of operatives hopping out of a helicopter.<br /><br />There is one pesky problem, and that is with time itself: if you notice the first shot of the helicopter it displays 6:52:12 and the chopper isn't close to the building. When the camera cuts back to the helicopter next to the building, time is again 6:52:12. There are two (and <em>only</em> two) logical conclusions: either we are to assume two helicopters, with shots from two separate buildings, or <em>Vegas 2</em> has a time travel component. Hopefully Ubisoft will come clean on its temporal experiments sometime in the near-distant past-future.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.megatonik.com/2007/12/20/new-rainbow-six-vegas-2-teaser-still-disappointing/">Megatonik</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/12/20/new-rainbow-six-vegas-2-teaser-now-glam-free-time-paradoxical/">New Rainbow Six Vegas 2 teaser now glam-free, time paradoxical</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 20 Dec 2007 09:59:00 EST. If you're wondering what <span style="font-style: italic;">Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2</span> will look like in-game, close your eyes and wish really hard for a new trailer. However, if you want to see what operatives do when not scaling walls or killing people (hint: it involves bountiful, big-breasted, brunette bimbos bumped briskly by brazen bodies), boy do we have a teaser for you.<br /><br />The original video was posted and later pulled by GameTrailers, only to be re-uploaded to the site via a user -- if the video is pulled again, you can also find a copy at <a href="http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x3pxya_trailer-de-rainbow-six-vegas-2_videogames">DailyMotion</a> (via <a href="http://www.megatonik.com/2007/12/10/rainbow-six-vegas-2-trailer-is-here-to-disappoint/">Megatonik</a>). Other facts: <span style="font-style: italic;"></span> it's still in Las Vegas and that's the logo above. Did you want to know anything else? Don't be so greedy!<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/12/11/rainbow-six-vegas-2-teaser-has-glam-forgets-gameplay-footage-v/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Rainbow Six Vegas 2 teaser has glam, forgets gameplay footage</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/12/11/rainbow-six-vegas-2-teaser-has-glam-forgets-gameplay-footage-v/">Rainbow Six Vegas 2 teaser has glam, forgets gameplay footage</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 11 Dec 2007 03:30:00 EST.
