Highlighting today's deals are <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/borderlands"><em>Borderlands</em></a> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/borderlands-2"><em>Borderlands 2</em></a>, available for $9.99 and $29.99, respectively.<br /><br />Other games in today's deal include <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/fable-iii"><em>Fable 3</em></a>, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/dead-island"><em>Dead Island</em></a> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/fallout-new-vegas"><em>Fallout: New Vegas</em></a> for $9.99 each. <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/batman-arkham-city"><em>Batman: Arkham City</em></a>, <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/portal-2">Portal 2</a></em> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/red-dead-redemption"><em>Red Dead Redemption</em></a> can be downloaded for $14.99 each, while <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/dishonored"><em>Dishonored</em></a> rounds out the group at $29.99.<br /><br />The Ultimate Game Sale ends March 4, and while these games are on sale for today only, there's still a <a href="http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/Promotion/ultimate-game-sale-0226-0305">sizable list</a> of games at low prices for the length of the promotion.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/03/02/borderlands-takes-over-xbox-live-ultimate-game-sale/">Borderlands takes over Xbox Live Ultimate Game Sale</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sat, 02 Mar 2013 12:00:00 EST. At any rate, Arkane Studios' whale-punk powerhouse will be available through Microsoft's digital distribution platform on Tuesday, January 29, for an indeterminate price.<br /><br /><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/cabelas-dangerous-hunts-2013"><em>Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2013</em></a> will also be available on Games on Demand next Tuesday, accompanied by <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/catherine"><em>Catherine</em></a>'s European, Middle Eastern and Asian releases on the service. Meanwhile, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/just-dance-4"><em>Just Dance 4</em></a>'s "Dance Pack 4" DLC boogies onto XBLA for 240 MS Points, while various <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/max-payne-3"><em>Max Payne 3</em></a> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/red-dead-redemption"><em>Red Dead Redemption</em></a> DLC packs are marked down by 50 percent until January 28.<br /><br />So! If you've been dishonored by a dangerous hunt, or are feeling max-payne over Catherine, or were told to "just dance for redemption" at gunpoint during a bank heist, Tuesday might be an emotional trigger day for you. Otherwise, enjoy your digitally distributed whatever.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/01/15/dishonored-sneaks-onto-games-on-demand-next-week/">Dishonored sneaks onto Games on Demand next week</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 15 Jan 2013 17:30:00 EST. Rockstar is trying to make a case for downloading by discounting four of its top games through Xbox Live's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/games-on-demand">Games on Demand</a> service.<br /><br />For today only, you can download <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/la-noire"><em>LA Noire</em></a>, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/red-dead-redemption"><em>Red Dead Redemption</em></a>, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/max-payne-3"><em>Max Payne 3</em></a> and <em>Midnight Club: LA</em> for 33% off each - that comes out to $20 for <em>LA Noire</em> and <em>Red Dead Redemption</em>, $40 for <em>Max Payne 3</em> and $10 for <em>Midnight Club: LA</em>. All of the games save for <em>Max Payne 3</em> are going for more than their Games on Demand sale price on Amazon right now.<br /><br />Of course, we'd be remiss if we didn't mention three of these games are included in <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/10/11/rockstar-games-collection-bundles-red-dead-redemption-la-noir/"><em>Rockstar Games Collection 1</em></a>. The only game not included is <em>Max Payne 3</em>, but that's fine because Max just <em>loves</em> being the black sheep of the family.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/12/21/games-on-demand-sale-max-payne-3-red-dead-redemption-la-noire/">Games on Demand sale: Max Payne 3, Red Dead Redemption, LA Noire, Midnight Club: LA</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 21 Dec 2012 13:00:00 EST. That's a good deal if you're interested in <em>all</em> of these games and have played none of them.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/10/11/rockstar-games-collection-bundles-red-dead-redemption-la-noir/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>'Rockstar Games Collection' bundles Red Dead Redemption, LA Noire, more on Nov. 6</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/10/11/rockstar-games-collection-bundles-red-dead-redemption-la-noir/">'Rockstar Games Collection' bundles Red Dead Redemption, LA Noire, more on Nov. 6</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 11 Oct 2012 16:45:00 EST. Pick up <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/max-payne-3"><em>Max Payne 3</em></a> for PlayStation 3 or Xbox today, and you can get a free copy of <em><a href="http://joystiq.com/game/red-dead-redemption">Red Dead Redemption</a>.</em> <br /><br />That way, when you get tired of shooting things in the present, you can take a virtual trip into the past to shoot other, western things with more rustic firearms. However, the deal itself doesn't transcend time: Amazon <a href="http://twitter.com/amazongames/status/220940133787115524">warns us</a> that it ends tomorrow.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/07/05/buy-max-payne-3-from-amazon-get-free-red-dead-redemption/">Buy Max Payne 3 from Amazon, get free Red Dead Redemption</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 05 Jul 2012 16:15:00 EST. From today through June 4, PopCap games on XBLA are half off, including <em>Plants vs. Zombies, Peggle, Zumba, Bejeweled 3</em>, and more.<br /><br />Next week, Borderlands DLC will be half off, as will the <em>Red Dead Redemption</em> Undead Nightmare Collection and, why not, Sega Bass Fishing. We know there must be someone who has time to play games next week, but we <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/e3-2012">don't want to hear about it</a>.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/29/xblm-discounts-popcap-games-this-week-borderlands-and-red-dead/">XBLM discounts PopCap games this week, Borderlands and Red Dead next</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 29 May 2012 10:30:00 EST. License stuff from other people, whether it's UFC or WWE or a motion picture property, and make a game around that," Zelnick said, noting <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/02/02/take-two-q3-financials-down-year-over-year-still-within-predict/">Take-Two hasn't had the best year</a> either, but a good five-year run. "And our approach, since we took over the company, is 100 percent owned intellectual property."<br /><br />Zelnick stated licensed properties -- something he has avoided in his career -- leaves publishers at the mercy of license holders. Even if a publisher does a great job on a property, it will have to renegotiate the license in a few years and the margins will decrease because it's being charged more money for a brand it built up in the space. Zelnick noted <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/11/05/thq-reveals-significant-business-realignment/">THQ did partially change its strategy</a> a few years back regarding owned intellectual strategy, but it's hard to do that overnight.<br /><br />"The most important difference is quality. Take-Two has the highest quality ratings among third-party publishers, according to Metacritic and most people in the industry. Quality really, really, really matters. THQ has had some good games, but their quality levels aren't even remotely ... the quality hasn't measured up."<br /><br />"Strategy didn't work and the execution was bad. To put it another way: the food was no good and the portions were small." Zelnick closed his comparison of the two companies by saying, "THQ won't be around in six months."<br /><br /><strong>Update</strong>: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/04/05/thq-take-two-ceos-perception-is-outdated/">THQ responds</a>.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/04/05/thq-wont-be-around-in-six-months-says-take-two-ceo-zelnick/">'THQ won't be around in six months,' says Take-Two CEO Zelnick</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 05 Apr 2012 15:40:00 EST. While "in line" with the publisher's predictions, results are down when compared year-over-year to the same period in fiscal 2011.<br /><br />During Q3 2012, Take-Two's net revenue of $236.3 million was $97.7 million less than its net revenue of $334.3 million in Q3 2011. Operational income for the period was $14.2 million, down $22.6 million from the same quarter last fiscal year. Take-Two attributes this disparity to the fact that fiscal 2011 benefitted from the launch of <em>Red Dead Redemption</em> and its <em>Undead Nightmare</em> DLC more so than fiscal 2012 was able to.<br /><br />When looking at the entirety of Take-Two's fiscal 2012 performance so far, the downward year-over-year trend continues with an overall net revenue of $677.7 million (compared to 2011's $954.6 million), and an operating <em>loss</em> of $76.2 million (compared to 2011's operating income of $76.2 million).<br /><br />The company has also adjusted its outlook on Q4 in response to moving <em>Max Payne 3</em>'s release date into the first quarter of fiscal 2013. It now expects net revenue for the period ending on March 31, 2012 to land between $112 million and $162 million, with its prediction for all of 2012 adjusted accordingly to a range of $790 million to $840 million.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/02/02/take-two-q3-financials-down-year-over-year-still-within-predict/">Take-Two Q3 financials down year-over-year, still within predictions</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 02 Feb 2012 17:30:00 EST. With discounts being offered daily on Xbox Live across Microsoft's "12 Days of Deals" winter promotion, we've seen big price drops in everything from <em>Fallout 3</em> and <em>New Vegas</em> to <em>Halo: Reach</em>. Today, Microsoft throws John Marston into the mix, offering price breaks on the entire <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/red-dead-redemption"><em>Red Dead Redemption</em></a> DLC catalog as well as the original game itself in downloadable form.<br />
<br />
While all the DLC is seeing prices cut in half, the game itself varies in price depending on where you buy it. Here in the US, it'll run you $29.99 (25 percent off). Of course, if you don't already own the game and you buy it plus all this DLC, you'll be spending $5 more than the cost of the "Game of the Year" edition, which <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/09/13/red-dead-redemption-game-of-the-year-packs-a-wallop-at-a-disco/">includes all the DLC</a> plus a "brand-new hardcore single-player mode." Weigh your options wisely, partners!<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/12/29/xblm-discounts-red-dead-dlc-in-ninth-day-of-savings/">XBLM discounts Red Dead DLC in ninth day of savings</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 29 Dec 2011 12:15:00 EST. Sony opens a new area of its store for "PS3 Full Games" today, with <em><a href="http://joystiq.com/game/red-dead-redemption">Red Dead Redemption</a></em>, but Sony's been selling full retail games on PSN for a while. It just didn't have a name. Joining that pseudo-groundbreaking release today is Telltale's <em>Jurassic Park</em> adventure, <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/burgertime-world-tour"><em>BurgerTime World Tour</em></a>, and <em>Hollywood Squares.</em><br />
<br />
If you'd rather augment a game you already have, there's some <em>Uncharted 3</em> multiplayer accessory DLC. It's getting to be that time of year where mushy, sentimental and "awww"-inducing chatter overwhelms all channels of media and fills your heart with a warm sense of home, <em>whether you like it or not</em>. For example: Reddit user Jungleradio gave his 80 year-old grandfather copies of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/bioshock"><em>Bioshock</em></a>, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/red-dead-redemption"><em>Red Dead Redemption</em></a>, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/braid"><em>Braid</em></a> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/castlevania-symphony-of-the-night"><em>Castlevania: Symphony of the Night</em></a> for his birthday, with quaint, heartwarming results.<br />
<br />
Jump past the break for Grandpa Aaron's take on each game, and don't forget to tell your Aunt Suzy to bring Nana's twice-baked potato recipe to the next family reunion. <p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/11/05/grandpa-aaron-loves-bioshock-cant-wait-to-see-you-for-thanksgi/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Grandpa Aaron loves Bioshock, can't wait to see you for Thanksgiving</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/11/05/grandpa-aaron-loves-bioshock-cant-wait-to-see-you-for-thanksgi/">Grandpa Aaron loves Bioshock, can't wait to see you for Thanksgiving</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sat, 05 Nov 2011 20:30:00 EST. We've got bad news for you and your custom-built, Western-themed PC gaming rig (complete with tumbleweed HDD and whiskey-distilling cooling fan). <a href="http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/19081/asked-answered-max-payne-3-la-noire-red-dead-and-more.html">Rockstar</a> has confirmed that <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/red-dead-redemption"><em>Red Dead Redemption</em></a> is not coming to the PC. In a Q&amp;A on the company's blog, Rockstar explains, "All we can say is that whenever it is viable (technically, developmentally and business-wise) for us to release a game for PC (or any other particular platform) - we will and we usually do; unfortunately, that is just not the case 100% of the time for all platforms."<br />
<br />
The post adds, "To PC gamers, we hope that between the <em>Grand Theft Auto</em> titles, and the forthcoming <em>L.A. Take-Two CEO <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/strauss-zelnick">Strauss Zelnick</a> revealed at a recent conference that <em><a href="http://joystiq.com/game/grand-theft-auto-4">Grand Theft Auto 4</a></em> has shipped over 22 million units. <a href="http://www.gamasutra.com/view/news/37228/Grand_Theft_Auto_IV_Passes_22M_Shipped_Franchise_Above_114M.php?utm_source=feedburner&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Feed%3A+GamasutraNews+%28Gamasutra+News%29">Gamasutra</a> listened in on ThinkEquity's Growth conference, where the executive noted that the latest installment surpassed the 21.5 million shipped by <em>GTA: San Andreas</em>, with the franchise reaching 114 million shipped since 1997.<br />
<br />
Zelnick also discussed how downloadable content can limit rapid used sales for new titles, a tactic the developer experimented with for <em>GTA IV </em>but got exceedingly good at with <em>Red Dead Redemption</em>. He said that once core development is done, doing the development for DLC in a high-quality way is a lot easier and quicker.<br />
<br />
"At the time we put out <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/red-dead-redemption"><i>Red Dead Redemption</i></a> in May, we didn't even have a fantasy that we'd be putting out a zombie title [the <i>Undead Nightmare</i> DLC] for Halloween. But we [did], as it happens." <em>Red Dead Redemption</em> has shipped 12.5 million units in a little over a year.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/09/16/gta-iv-surpasses-22m-shipped-franchise-at-114m-total/">GTA IV surpasses 22M shipped, franchise at 114M total</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 16 Sep 2011 20:50:00 EST. Rockstar has just announced <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/red-dead-redemption">Red Dead Redemption</a>: Game of the Year Edition</em>, a $50 compendium of all of the RDR content released to date, available on Xbox 360 and PS3 this October.<br />
<br />
In case you've lost track of the gargantuan game's extensive extras, Rockstar has helpfully catalogued them in the announcement. Ready? Deep breath: The popular Undead Nightmare DLC pack; the Legends and Killers Pack; the Liars and Cheats Pack; the Outlaws To The End Co-Op Mission Pack; the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/05/14/red-dead-redemption-gets-exclusive-content-on-ps3/">previously PS3-only</a> Solomon's Folly gang hideout; and the recently released <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/07/27/red-dead-redemption-myths-and-mavericks-dlc-dated-for-septembe/">Myths and Mavericks Bonus Pack</a>. In the off-chance that such a gaming feast hasn't sated your appetite, the <em>Red Dead Redemption: Game of the Year Edition</em> also includes a "brand-new hardcore single-player mode."<br />
<br />
North American gamers can pick up the pack on October 11, while international riff-raff will have to wait until October 14. We didn't tame this wild frontier for nothing, guys.<br />

Saddle up your horses, load up your guns, and grease that completely ridiculous mustache: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/red-dead-redemption"><em>Red Dead Redemption</em></a>'s next, totally free DLC pack <a href="http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/18701/release-date-details-on-the-free-red-dead-redemption-myths-and-m.html">is coming</a> in a little under two weeks. The <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/07/27/red-dead-redemption-myths-and-mavericks-dlc-dated-for-septembe/">previously announced</a> "Myths and Mavericks" expansion will hit the PSN and XBLM on September 13, adding a whole slew of new multiplayer maps, modes and characters. Check out a full list of the newcomers after the jump.<br />

We're not sure how much of the original <em>Red Dead</em> community has stuck around to indulge in these new offerings, but if there's anything that can bring errant sheep back into the fold, it's the glorious, waxy soupcatcher of Landon Ricketts, pictured above. Take-Two's net revenue for its first quarter of fiscal 2012 (which ended June 30) represents a downturn year-over-year -- $334.4 million versus fiscal 2010's $375.4 million (Take-Two <a href="http://ir.take2games.com/phoenix.zhtml?c=86428&amp;p=irol-newsArticle&amp;ID=1486829&amp;highlight">shifted</a> its fiscal calendar since then, in case you're wondering why we're comparing Q1 2012 with Q3 2010), with a net loss of $8.7 million instead of profits of $26.3 million. Last year <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/09/02/red-dead-redemption-pushes-take-two-q3-revenue-up-to-354-1-mill/">around this time</a>, of course, everyone on Earth was buying <em>Red Dead Redemption</em>, pushing Take-Two's profits into the stratosphere.<br />
<br />
With the game sold to all of Earth's residents to date, that leaves only babies born in the interim as the audience for new copies of the game; that market of babies has done well enough for the company to count <em>RDR</em> and its <em>Undead Nightmare</em> expansion as one of the leading products in this quarter, with 2 million retail copies of <em>Undead Nightmare</em> shipped life-to-date and 9 million <em>Red Dead Redemptions</em>. Other leaders include <em><a href="http://joystiq.com/game/duke-nukem-forever">Duke Nukem Forever</a></em>, <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/la-noire"><em>LA Noire</em></a>, <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/nba-2k11"><em>NBA 2K11</em></a> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/carnival-games-monkey-see-monkey-do"><em>Carnival Games: Monkey See, Monkey Do</em></a>.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/08/08/take-two-profits-down-in-first-quarter-of-red-dead-free-fiscal-y/">Take-Two profits down in first quarter of Red Dead-free fiscal year</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 08 Aug 2011 16:56:00 EST. It's time to dust off your dusters and revolve your revolvers, as Rockstar has <a href="http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/17961/the-free-red-dead-redemption-myths-and-mavericks-bonus-pack-dlc-.html">announced</a> yet another DLC pack for the multiplayer component of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/red-dead-redemption"><em>Red Dead Redemption</em></a>. The "Myths and Mavericks" pack, scheduled for this September at the low, low price of <em>no dollars</em>, will add a few "fan-favorite" character skins to players' rosters, as well as a few new battlegrounds to Deathmatch, Gang, Grab the Bag and "other popular online modes."<br />
<br />
One of the beloved characters therein will be Landon Ricketts, the grizzled justice-doler who serves as an occasional mentor to protagonist John Marston. He's a decent addition, but based on the title of the DLC pack, if we don't get a playable <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maverick_(film)">Bret Maverick</a> in the mix, we're going to be sorely disappointed.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/07/27/red-dead-redemption-myths-and-mavericks-dlc-dated-for-septembe/">Red Dead Redemption 'Myths and Mavericks' DLC dated for September</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 27 Jul 2011 18:00:00 EST. This week and next, Microsoft is offering savings on DLC for the Xbox 360 versions of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/grand-theft-auto-iv"><em>Grand Theft Auto IV</em></a> and <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/red-dead-redemption"><em>Red Dead Redemption</em></a> -- discounts that, if you were straining to tie them into GTA somehow, you might call "a steal."<br />
<br />
From today through July 18, you'll be able to get the <em>RDR</em> Undead Nightmare Collection (containing three separate DLC packs) for 1,000 Microsoft Points, down from 1,600. That deal is part of a "Zombies!" promotion also featuring <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/dead-rising-2-case-west"><em>Dead Rising 2: Case West</em></a> (now 400 Microsoft Points) and <em>Stubbs the Zombie</em> (800 MSP).<br />
<br />
From July 19 through July 25, it's all <em>GTA</em>, with <em>GTAIV</em> add-ons Ballad of Gay Tony for 800 MSP, The Lost and Damned for 400, and <em>GTA San Andreas</em> for 800 points. If you're ready to quick-draw some funds from your bank account, and your trigger finger is itching to click "buy", you'll be pleased to know that some new <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/red-dead-redemption"><em>Red Dead Redemption</em></a> DLC is on the way. We don't exactly know when, but Rockstar mentioned on <a href="http://twitter.com/#!/RockstarGames/status/86213367303389184">Twitter</a> that the release date and details for this unnamed pack will be revealed "in the coming weeks." Maybe this time it'll be about old-west Draculas, or invisible cowboys.<br />
<br />
In the meantime, if you're looking for something to do in the currently released <em>RDR</em> content, Rockstar is hosting a quadruple XP event through Monday. Your cowpoke will get four times as grizzled!<br />
<br />

Former Rockstar designer Anthony Gowland is breaking out on his own. His past work includes <em>GTA: Chinatown Wars</em> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/red-dead-redemption"><em>Red Dead Redemption</em></a> and, today, he announced the formation of Mainly About Games, a self-professed micro-studio based in Edinburgh that will focus on mobile and web-based games.<br />
<br />
The new studio's first project will be <em>Tealy &amp; Orangey</em>, a puzzle-platformer for the web. "My passion is in creating small titles that have solid gameplay hooks and big budget polish," he says. In addition to development, Gowland also says his studio will offer consultation services.<br />

Mainly About Games has a barebones site up, which you can access <a href="http://www.mainlyaboutgames.co.uk/">here</a>.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/06/16/former-rockstar-designer-founds-mainly-about-games/">Former Rockstar designer founds Mainly About Games</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 16 Jun 2011 01:01:00 EST. Take-Two let out a hearty (but metaphorical) "Yee-haw" today, reporting a 49 percent rise in net revenue year-over-year for the fiscal year that ended March 31. Thanks to hits like <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/red-dead-redemption"><em>Red Dead Redemption</em></a> (8.5 million units shipped, the company announced today!) and its <em>Undead Nightmare</em> expansion, and the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/05/23/nba-extends-multi-year-licensing-agreements-with-2k-and-ea-sport/">five-million-selling</a> <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/nba-2k11"><em>NBA 2K11</em></a>, Take-Two brought in $1.14 billion in net revenue. Its net income rose to $48.5 million for the fiscal year, a welcome change from the previous year's $123 million <em>loss</em>. With that kind of money, Take-Two should be able to survive the losses from when <a href="http://joystiq.com/game/duke-nukem-forever"><em>Duke Nukem Forever</em></a> doesn't actually come out. (Kidding, mostly.)<br />
<br />
The top earners for the fourth quarter included, in Take-Two's estimation, "<em>NBA 2K11, Top Spin 4, Major League Baseball 2K11</em>, <em>Grand Theft Auto IV: Complete</em> and <em>Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare</em> (standalone disc)." In addition, digitally distributed content accounted for 15 percent of net revenue in the quarter, driven by <em>Red Dead Redemption, Borderlands, Grand Theft Auto</em> and <em>Civilization</em> DLC.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/05/24/take-two-takes-49-more-in-revenue-in-fiscal-2011/">Take-Two takes 49% more in revenue in fiscal 2011</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 24 May 2011 17:30:00 EST. Chances are you didn't reserve and purchase <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/red-dead-redemption"><em>Red Dead Redemption</em></a> at several different retail locations when it launched last year, because that is something a crazy person would do. If you're missing out on the bonus in-game items offered as pre-order incentives, Rockstar's offering you a chance to complete your collection next week. The Assassin Outfit (which doubles Dead Eye regeneration), Golden Guns Weapon Pack (which increases Fame earned) and War Horse (which is a war horse) are coming to XBLA and PSN next week for 80 Microsoft Points ($.99) a piece.<br />
<br />

Tonight's 14th Annual Interactive Achievement Awards (i.e., the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/DICE-2011">DICE</a> awards) saw <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/mass-effect-2">Mass Effect 2</a></em> cruise off with honors for Game of the Year, RPG of the Year and Outstanding Achievement in Story. However, <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/red-dead-redemption">Red Dead Redemption</a></em> ended up with more trophies, riding away with wins for Action Game of the Year and Outstanding Character Performance, along with Outstanding Achievement in Game Direction, Art Direction and Gameplay Engineering. <br />
<br />
The portable and casual categories were filled with rage, as <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/god-of-war-ghost-of-sparta">God of War: Ghost of Sparta</a> </em>won the award for Portable Game of the Year, while Casual Game of the Year went to the ferocious fowls of <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/angry-birds">Angry Birds HD</a></em>.<br />

When it comes to acknowledging the standout audio accomplishments in gaming every year, we look to the Game Audio Network Guild and its annual GANG awards, which selects five (or more!) nominees in categories like "Audio of the Year" and our personal favorite, "Best Use of Multi-channel Surround." It should come as no surprise that Rockstar's ode to the West, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/red-dead-redemption"><em>Red Dead Redemption</em></a>, leads the pack with a whopping ten nominations including "Best Original Vocal - Pop" for both Ashtar Command's "Deadman's Gun" and Jose Gonzalez's (pictured) excellent "<a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/07/23/video-live-performance-of-red-dead-redemptions-far-away/">Far Away</a>." <br />
<br />
More of a surprise is the game with the second-most nominations: <em>Dante's Inferno</em>. For all the problems with Visceral's ode to ... <em>God of War</em>, its production values were never among them. Dante managed to snag seven nominations, including "Sound Design of the Year" and "Music of the Year." Ironically enough, the actual <em>God of War 3</em> only managed to pull in six! Check out the full list of nominees after the break, and check back on Thursday, March 3rd when the winners will be announced during the Game Developers Conference.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/02/08/red-dead-redemption-lassos-ten-gang-audio-award-noms-dantes/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Red Dead Redemption lassos ten GANG audio award noms ... <br />
There are also a few avatar items discounted, not to mention a few full classic games such as <em>Sid Meier's Pirates</em> and <em>Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas</em>. You're not likely to see a fire sale of this scope on the platform any time soon -- check after the jump for the full list of encheapened items.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/01/25/tons-of-2k-games-and-rockstar-dlc-on-sale-through-xbox-live/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Tons of 2K Games and Rockstar DLC on sale through Xbox Live</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/01/25/tons-of-2k-games-and-rockstar-dlc-on-sale-through-xbox-live/">Tons of 2K Games and Rockstar DLC on sale through Xbox Live</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 25 Jan 2011 11:30:00 EST. The nominees for the 2011 Interactive Achievement Awards -- the annual awards ceremony held during the Design, Innovate, Communicate, Entertain (DICE) Summit -- have been announced. The list includes a number of surprises (including a Game of the Year nod for <em>Angry Birds HD</em>), but, somewhat less surprisingly, <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/red-dead-redemption">Red Dead Redemption</a></em> leads the pack with nine nominations across the show's various categories.<br />

Check out all the nominees after the jump for even more familiar and unfamiliar titles. (<em>Alan</em> ... <em>Wake</em>? That's a game? Issues plaguing <em><a href="http://joystiq.com/game/red-dead-redemption">Red Dead Redemption</a></em> and its <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/10/28/red-dead-redemption-undead-nightmare-dlc-review/">Undead Nightmare</a> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/08/27/red-dead-redemption-liars-and-cheats-dlc-coming-sept-21/">Liars &amp; Cheats</a> add-ons (both disc-based and downloads) should be nipped in the bud today, <a href="http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/12731/a-new-title-update-is-now-available-for-red-dead-redemption-and-.html">Rockstar</a> reports. Upon booting up the game, users will be prompted with a mandatory download, that resolves issues including the inability to unlock certain Achievements or Trophies, and a glitch in which players would get stuck in the environment, especially when sitting down at specific Liar's Dice chairs. It's quite a large list of fixes, so hit up the link below for the full list.<br />

Of course, this update won't correct the behavior of all the <em>vicious, murderous wildlife </em>in the game. We're afraid that's a problem you (and your trusty six-shooter) will have to resolve on your own.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/01/06/red-dead-redemption-title-update-fixes-dlc-glitches/">Red Dead Redemption title update fixes DLC glitches</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 06 Jan 2011 17:30:00 EST. The Old West was not a pretty place. For decades, films and TV shows depicting this part of American history have run the gamut between sugar-coated idolization -- see: <em>The Lone Ranger</em> -- and, in more recent years, downright brutal (HBO's <em>Deadwood</em>). In games, though, the "Wild West" was at best a <em>mild</em> West, and then we got <em>Red Dead Redemption</em>.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/12/31/best-games-2010-red-dead-redemption/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Joystiq Top 10 of 2010: Red Dead Redemption</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/12/31/best-games-2010-red-dead-redemption/">Joystiq Top 10 of 2010: Red Dead Redemption</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 31 Dec 2010 16:00:00 EST. Who needs a double XP weekend, when you can have a double XP <em>week</em>? Rockstar is giving fans of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/red-dead-redemption"><em>Red Dead Redemption</em></a>'s multiplayer modes ten days to start raking in twice as many experience points than normal. Starting today and going all the way until January 3rd, you'll get double XP for all activity in any online mode. The promotion is happening on both Xbox Live and PlayStation Network, so jump online and shoot some <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/10/18/as-if-you-needed-an-explanation-for-this-zombie-bear/">zombie bears</a> or something.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/12/24/red-dead-redemption-doubling-xp-until-2011/">Red Dead Redemption doubling XP until 2011</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 24 Dec 2010 10:36:00 EST. Xbox Live Marketplace's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/games-on-demand">Games on Demand</a> has added <em>Red Dead Redemption</em>, <em>Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands</em> and <em>Narnia: Prince Caspian</em> at prices one could kindly classify as "outrageous."<br />
<br />
<em>Red Dead Redemption</em> is listed at its full boxed retail price of $60. We've confirmed with Rockstar that the digital copy is just the original game and doesn't include any of the DLC. Obviously, we recommend purchasing this through the marketplace like we recommend a rattlesnake bite to the groin. <em>Prince of Persia: TFS</em> and <em>Caspian</em> are priced at $30 apiece (way above their <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Prince-Persia-Forgotten-Sands-Playstation-3/dp/B0030GBU2I">Amazon</a> <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Chronicles-Narnia-Prince-Caspian-Nintendo-Wii/dp/B00139PR5U">prices</a>). <br />
<br />
With all the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/@deal">deals</a> we've seen leading up to Christmas, we can't in good conscience recommend any of these to you. If you have any interest in these titles, just wait and see what discounts will be available at retail after the holiday. <br />

Microsoft has launched its "<a href="http://www.xbox.com/en-US/Live/countdown2011/home">Countdown to New Year's</a>" promotion today on Xbox Live, which will see numerous pieces of Marketplace content discounted in the days leading up to the ball drop. The deals are highlighted by several XBLA games on sale now through December 31, including <em>Super Meat Boy</em>, <em>Carcassonne</em>, <em>Comic Jumper</em>, <em>Castle Crashers</em> and <em>Risk Factions</em>; all of which are 33-50 percent off.<br />
<br />
Daily deals are also on offer, beginning with today's deal: <em>Red Dead Redemption</em> DLC. Both the "Liars &amp; Cheats" and the "Legends &amp; Killers" packs are available for 400 Microsoft Points ($5) each, half their usual price. Meanwhile, "<a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/undead-nightmare/">Undead Nightmare</a>" and the "Undead Nightmare Collection" (which bundles together all three aforementioned add-ons) are 25 percent off at 600 ($7.50) and 1200 points ($15), respectively. And tomorrow, December 22, <em><a href="http://joystiq.com/game/lara-croft-and-the-guardian-of-light">Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light</a></em> will be available for half-off at 600 points ($7.50).<br />
<br />
Additionally, Microsoft has listed clues to the rest of this year's daily deals on the Xbox Live Dashboard. We've compiled the clues, along with our best guesses, after the break. Be sure to check it out before you start <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/12/15/xbox-live-buyers-guide-2010/">spending your holiday points</a>!<br />
<br />
Finally, buying discounted items, watching Netflix movies or playing <em>Halo: Reach</em> and <em>Fable 3</em> multiplayer during this 11-day promotion will automatically enter players into a sweepstakes to win a massive prize package, featuring a 50-inch HDTV.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/12/21/new-years-xblm-sale-discounts-multiple-items-offers-daily-deal/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>New Year's XBLM sale discounts multiple items, offers daily deals</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/12/21/new-years-xblm-sale-discounts-multiple-items-offers-daily-deal/">New Year's XBLM sale discounts multiple items, offers daily deals</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 21 Dec 2010 16:37:00 EST. Just like <em><a href="http://joystiq.com/game/red-dead-redemption">Red Dead Redemption</a></em> taught us, when you fall off your horse you have to climb right back up (or find another one, at least). It appears Take-Two is firmly back in the saddle, despite the fact that there were no new <em>Grand Theft Auto</em> games released this year. <a href="http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE6BG3AP20101217?feedType=RSS&amp;feedName=technologyNews">Reuters</a> reports that the company's stock shot up 8 percent in the wake of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/12/16/take-two-records-1-16-billion-in-revenue-over-last-fiscal-year/">rosy financials</a> released earlier this week. Reuters reports further that Wedbush Morgan raised its target stock price for Take-Two from $11 to $15, reflecting more investor confidence in the company.<br />
<br />
Now, if Take-Two can just keep pumping out epic Rockstar games and launching successful sports games -- preferably <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/12/03/ea-riccitiello-nba-elite-cancellation-squarely-on-my-desk/">without any competition</a> -- it'll be <em>set for life</em>.<br type="_moz" /><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/12/17/take-two-shares-up-8-percent-following-q3-financials/">Take-Two shares up 8 percent following Q3 financials</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 17 Dec 2010 16:00:00 EST. Take-Two Interactive, publisher of this year's <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/red-dead-redemption">Red Dead Redemption</a></em> and <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/civilization-v">Civilization V</a></em>, among others, today announced net revenue earnings of $1.16 billion for the 12 months ending October 31, 2010, a 65-percent growth over the previous fiscal year's revenues. In all, after operating expenses and taxes, Take-Two earned $42.6 million in profit for the year -- quite a turnaround from the $140.5 million <em>hole</em> (read: net loss) it dug itself last fiscal year. <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/12/06/game-industry-a-lot-healthier-than-what-npd-has-indicated-thq/">Software sales slump</a>, what now?<br />
<br />
In its fourth quarter alone (August-October), Take-Two brought in $373.7 million in revenue, roughly 32 percent more than in the same period in 2009, working out to $53.8 million in income for the close-out quarter. "We have achieved our goal of profitability in a year without a new release of <em>Grand Theft Auto</em>," boasted <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/10/29/take-two-ceo-feder-quitting-to-travel-asia-zelnick-to-ceo/">soon to be ex-CEO</a> Ben Feder, citing <em>Red Dead Redemption</em> and <em>NBA 2K11</em>, "as well as strong sales of catalog titles and digitally-delivered content," as key to the publisher's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/12/16/red-dead-redemption-shipments-hit-nearly-8-million-units/">success</a>.<br />
<br />
Take-Two is currently in the midst of a five-month "transition period," having changed its fiscal calendar to now begin April 1 (instead of Nov. 1). Chairman Strauss Zelnick said the company will be focused on "newer areas of the interactive entertainment business, such as digitally-delivered content and the expanding Asian and Latin American markets" through the end of 2010.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/12/16/take-two-records-1-16-billion-in-revenue-over-last-fiscal-year/">Take-Two records $1.16 billion in revenue over last fiscal year, regains profitability</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 16 Dec 2010 17:01:00 EST. There just ain't no stoppin' the <em><a href="http://joystiq.com/game/red-dead-redemption">Red Dead Redemption</a></em> sales wagon train for Take-Two, as the company revealed today the game has shipped "<span class="ccbnTxt">nearly 8 million units worldwide since launching in May." The last status update we had was back in early September when <em>RDR</em> rustled <strike>up</strike> <em>out</em> nearly <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/09/02/red-dead-redemption-has-shipped-6-9-million-units/">6.9 million units</a>.<br />
<br />
Don't expect those sales to slow down as the popular game begins popping up on "game of the year" lists (it's already <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/12/11/red-dead-redemption-wins-vga-game-of-the-year/">won some of those</a>). And, while it's still Rockstar behind the gun, <em>Red Dead</em> has helped Take-Two reach its first profitable year without a <em>Grand Theft Auto</em> title.</span><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/12/16/red-dead-redemption-shipments-hit-nearly-8-million-units/">Red Dead Redemption shipments hit 'nearly' 8 million units</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 16 Dec 2010 16:49:00 EST. There could only be one winner. After it was all said and done, Rockstar's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/red-dead-redemption"><em>Red Dead Redemption</em></a> took home the coveted Game of the Year prize from the VGA, besting <em>Call of Duty: Black Ops</em>, <em>God of War III</em>, <em>Halo: Reach</em> and <em>Mass Effect 2</em>. <br />
<br />
Other noteworthy winners throughout the evening include <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/costume-quest"><em>Costume Quest</em></a>'s victory as downloadable game of the year, and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/limbo"><em>Limbo</em></a>'s victory as indie game of the year. In addition, <em>BSG</em>'s Tricia Helfer finally won an award for <em>something</em>, as a voice in <em>Starcraft 2</em>.<br />

They celebrate different periods of American history, and shooting a bunch of banditos and varmints is pretty far away from ... not dying of starvation.<br />
<br />
Actually, there is one nice way to connect the two -- the "gluttony" theme, but Rockstar done already used it in its <a href="http://blog.onlive.com/2010/11/24/a-special-thanks-to-onlive-founding-members/#comment-2275">announcement</a> of the event, which runs from Thursday through Sunday. "Stuff Yourself with 4 Days of Red Dead Redemption Double XP." So clever! That leaves us with, like, "this deal is no turkey!" We're going to go cry into a pecan pie now. Enjoy some <em>RDR</em> this weekend.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/11/24/redeem-double-xp-in-red-dead-redemption-this-weekend/">Redeem double XP in Red Dead Redemption this weekend</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 24 Nov 2010 21:00:00 EST.
