 <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/pacman-and-the-ghostly-adventures"><em>Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures</em></a> will launch this fall on PS3, Wii U and Xbox 360, with a special side-scrolling version coming to 3DS, Namco Bandai announced. The game takes inspiration from the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pac-Man_and_the_Ghostly_Adventures">TV show</a> of the same name, which is slated to begin airing June 17 on Disney XD.<br />
<br />
 <em>Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures</em> features the iconic yellow character in a 3D adventure game in which he turns into a chameleon at some point, using his tongue to reel in ghosts. In the game's announcement trailer, Pac-Man also eats entire vending machines. Healthy choices, kids! <div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/pac-man-and-the-ghostly-adventures-announcement/">Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures (Announcement)</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/pac-man-and-the-ghostly-adventures-announcement/#5878818"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2013/05/chameleonattack_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/pac-man-and-the-ghostly-adventures-announcement/#5878819"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2013/05/chameleonattack2_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/pac-man-and-the-ghostly-adventures-announcement/#5878820"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2013/05/chameleonback_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/pac-man-and-the-ghostly-adventures-announcement/#5878821"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2013/05/chameleoncloseup_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/pac-man-and-the-ghostly-adventures-announcement/#5878822"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2013/05/chameleonside_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/14/pac-man-and-the-ghostly-adventures-chomps-north-america-this-fal/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures chomps North America this fall</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/14/pac-man-and-the-ghostly-adventures-chomps-north-america-this-fal/">Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures chomps North America this fall</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 14 May 2013 23:45:00 EST. NIS America's PS3 role-playing game <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/time-and-eternity">Time and Eternity</a></em> got some flashy new screens, which show main characters Toki and an unnamed knight from the kingdom of Kamza getting married. What the screens don't show is the interruption of the wedding by a band of assassins, setting the stage for the rest of the adventure. Don't you just <em>hate</em> when that happens?<br />
<br />
The game features turn-based battles that offer players the chance to control their characters to dodge attacks. Also, players can switch Toki's personality to her more aggressive counterpart, Towa, throughout the game. This knight probably should have known about that before tying the knot. <em>Time and Eternity</em> is coming to PS3 this summer. <div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/time-and-eternity-5-5-13/">Time and Eternity (5/5/13)</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/time-and-eternity-5-5-13/#5859966"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2013/05/20130430172832_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/time-and-eternity-5-5-13/#5859967"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2013/05/20130430172950_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/time-and-eternity-5-5-13/#5859968"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2013/05/20130430173117_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/time-and-eternity-5-5-13/#5859969"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2013/05/20130430173141_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/time-and-eternity-5-5-13/#5859970"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2013/05/20130430173228_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2013/05/05/new-time-and-eternity-screens-are-getting-married/">New Time and Eternity screens are getting married</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sun, 05 May 2013 19:30:00 EST. That's if you don't count having monster neighbors as being out of the ordinary, and not the type that leave bags of garbage on their front porch in 90-degree weather, but <em>actual </em>monsters.<br /><br />The game has Keeta, the boy in the red shirt, wearing a ridiculously large watch that allows him to see the apparitions and befriend them. <em>Ghost Watch</em> is the latest 3DS game from Level-5, though no release date has been announced yet. <div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/ghost-watch-12-30-12/">Ghost Watch (12/30/12)</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/ghost-watch-12-30-12/#5525860"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/12/ghostwatch01_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/ghost-watch-12-30-12/#5525861"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/12/ghostwatch02_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/ghost-watch-12-30-12/#5525862"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/12/ghostwatch03_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/ghost-watch-12-30-12/#5525863"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/12/ghostwatch04_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/ghost-watch-12-30-12/#5525864"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/12/ghostwatch05_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/12/30/new-ghost-watch-screens-live-among-us/">New Ghost Watch screens live among us</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sun, 30 Dec 2012 19:30:00 EST. At least, that's what we thought when viewing the announcement trailer during the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/vga-2012">2012 VGAs</a> a few nights ago. That's our mistake, but when you look at these screens from said trailer, can you really blame us?<br /><br />Not much is known about <em>Dark Souls 2</em>, besides From Software's unswerving commitment to making the game incredibly difficult. We can say with certainty that Shy Guys first appeared in <em>Super Mario Bros. 2</em>. <em>Dark Souls 2</em> has the number two in it as well. "Shy Guy" is also two words. None of that is a coincidence, right? <div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/dark-souls-2-vgas-2012/">Dark Souls 2 (VGAs 2012)</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/dark-souls-2-vgas-2012/#5487361"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/12/bmuploads2012-12-07758darksouls201_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/dark-souls-2-vgas-2012/#5487362"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/12/bmuploads2012-12-07759darksouls206_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/dark-souls-2-vgas-2012/#5487363"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/12/bmuploads2012-12-07760darksouls215_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/dark-souls-2-vgas-2012/#5487365"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/12/bmuploads2012-12-07761sc001s0004.00comp0023_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/dark-souls-2-vgas-2012/#5487366"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2012/12/bmuploads2012-12-07762sc002s0001.00comp0041_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/12/09/dark-souls-2-screens-are-a-little-shy/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Dark Souls 2 screens are a little shy</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/12/09/dark-souls-2-screens-are-a-little-shy/">Dark Souls 2 screens are a little shy</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sun, 09 Dec 2012 10:30:00 EST. Such is the new preview provided by Game Informer, describing the turn-based steps and tactical placement of a three-person squad assaulting a team of Mutons, told through in-game screens.<br /><br />The piece outs a perk for the sniper, who earns "Damn Good Ground" after grappling to the top of the gas-station canopy, and the "Run &amp; Gun" ability for the Assault soldier, which allows her to run across the diner's roof and still open fire at the end of her turn. Firaxis has yet to release video footage of this fall's XCOM game, but if you scroll really fast through <a href="http://www.gameinformer.com/b/features/archive/2012/01/26/advanced-tactics-exploring-xcom-39-s-combat-part-1.aspx">these</a> pictures, it's almost like a stop-motion movie. <em>Almost</em>.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/01/26/xcom-enemy-unknown-shares-its-gas-station-strategy/">XCOM: Enemy Unknown shares its gas-station strategy</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 26 Jan 2012 15:10:00 EST. Capcom has finally released some in-game shots of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/marvel-vs-capcom-3"><em>Marvel vs Capcom 3</em></a>. The screens are missing HUD elements, but that's fine -- we just wanted to see how the game would "<a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/04/20/marvel-vs-capcom-3-fate-of-two-worlds-ps3-xbox-360-spring-2011/">blur the line between 2D and 3D graphics</a>." Frankly, we're surprised it doesn't look more like <em>Super Street Fighter IV</em>. And not a single <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZZUMjoxfZA">curleh mustache</a> in sight? <em>How will the fans react?</em><br />
<br />

First, Wilson breaks down some tactics in Team Race, your run-of-the-mill us-vs-them race mode, in which teams duke it out on the track. Here, players can swap mods and lend assistance in a variety of ways -- all in an effort to finish the race in the best position possible, thus earning more points than the enemy team.<br />
<br />
The second portion of the trailer focuses on Team Motor Mash, another points-based team mode in which points aren't simply earned through pole position, but rather through the judicious application of power-ups. Players can also earn points by smashing into rival drivers, giving this mode a <em>Destruction Derby</em>-like feel. <br />
<br />
Aside from the new trailer, we've also got some new screens for you to check out in the gallery below. <em>Blur </em>races to the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on May 25.<br />

We're not a hard blog to please. Send us some screens and some video, perhaps a trailer that has a badass guitar solo screeching throughout, and you've won us over. That's exactly what's going on in the <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/03/08/sniper-ghost-warrior-aiming-for-xbox-360-and-pc-in-q2-2010/">Sniper: Ghost Warrior</a> </em>multiplayer trailer above. <br />
<br />
Sure, there's a whole bunch of sniping to check out but, <em>man</em>, those licks! We just hope that music doesn't play in-game, because we probably won't be able to kill anyone while we're busy headbanging with our leather bracelet and denim vest on.<br />
<br />
Accompanying the finger-melting trailer after the break is a bounty of new screens, so if you like your action a bit more still -- but just as violent -- hit up the gallery below.<br />

Telltale has sent over some media from <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/sam-and-max-the-devils-playhouse/"><em>Sam &amp; Max: The Devil's Playhouse</em></a>'s second episode, <em>The Tomb of Sammun-Mak, </em>which takes the duo down a decidedly gentlemanly path. Sure, there's only the one in-game screenshot where <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/sam-and-max-devils-playhouse-episode-two/#2964434">Sam is sporting some bushy whiskers</a> (good show, old boy!) but there's still other items to leisurely peruse, perhaps while sipping a fine Earl Grey tea. There are also several pieces of art for your eyes to appreciate, including <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/sam-and-max-devils-playhouse-episode-two/#2964437">a posh train</a> and rather <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/sam-and-max-devils-playhouse-episode-two/#2964438">down-on-his-luck-looking Max</a>, if that's more to your liking.<br />
<br />
So, put on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/sam-and-max-devils-playhouse-episode-two/#2964440">your most dashing outfit</a> and be sure to head into our gallery for a sophisticated look at the upcoming episode. Tally-ho!<br />

You know that crazy story you read about <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/04/07/monster-hunter-sneaks-into-metal-gear-solid-peace-walker/">Snake fighting monsters</a> from the <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/monster-hunter">Monster Hunter</a> </em>series in <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/metal-gear-solid-peace-walker"><em>Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker</em></a>? Well, today we've got actual images of Snake in the act -- can't have a PSP game without monster hunting in it, amirite? Jokes aside, Snake seriously fights some dragons and it's pretty crazy. <br />
<br />
Our second featured gallery (which, if you're going on <em>The Price is Right</em> rules, makes it better than the first) takes us through virtual boot camp. This is akin to the <em>MGS</em> we're used to seeing: sneaking around industrial facilities and stealthily taking out inept guards. Pick your poison below.<br />

We're still waiting to see the first gameplay footage of Shinji Mikami's latest, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/vanquish"><em>Vanquish</em></a>, but at least <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/vanquish-4-30-2010">these new screens</a> give us hope that the protagonist super-soldier isn't just some lumbering tank guy. It appears you'll be able to have acrobatic battles with giant mechs. If <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/vanquish-4-30-2010/full/#2943220">these pair</a> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/vanquish-4-30-2010/full/#2943221">of screens</a> are any indication, there will be ballet-like air dodging maneuvers you can pull off, which can culminate in driving a giant spike (or is that a huge bullet?) into the thing. <br />
<br />
The other new screens Sega sent over depict more of what we've already seen in the first batch of screens: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/vanquish-4-30-2010/full/#2943214">shooting stuff</a>, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/vanquish-4-30-2010/full/#2943215">trying not to get shot by stuff</a> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/vanquish-4-30-2010/full/#2943216">a bit of both at the same time</a>. Check 'em all out in the gallery below. <br />

<br />
As today is the last full day you'll get a chance to enjoy <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/halo-2"><em>Halo 2</em></a>, Bungie has apparently gone and pulled the joke lever. In preparation for <a href="http://xbox.joystiq.com/2010/04/14/x3f-game-night-halo-2/">tonight's festivities</a>, we went online to download all of the extra maps for the game and get a round of practice in, only to find a few peculiar messages -- like the self-esteem booster you see above.<br />
<br />
For the most part, the messages <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/bungies-halo-2-farewell/full/#2894362">are</a> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/bungies-halo-2-farewell/full/#2894363">pretty</a> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/bungies-halo-2-farewell/full/#2894368">jovial</a>, though there are a few odd ones that <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/bungies-halo-2-farewell/full/#2894369">take it a bit too far</a>. Head into the gallery below to check 'em all out.<br />

We like to keep it light and fun around here, but this latest series of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/dead-to-rights-retribution"><em>Dead to Rights: Retribution</em></a> media is <em>serious business</em> -- when there are terrorists involved, the joking <em>stops</em>. That's the gist of the above trailer, which features Temple Tower, the latest target of terrorism in Grant City. <br />
<br />
Thankfully, Jack and Shadow are on the scene to deal with these "hostage takers." All it takes is a good cop and his murderous, almost impossibly skillful canine companion, after all!<br />

The upcoming <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/transformers-war-for-cybertron"><em>Transformers: War for Cybertron</em></a> seems determined to impress with its rendition of the titular transforming robots' home world, Cybertron. But see, there's one crucial mistake made by the game, one that hasn't been entirely evident until now: No matter what planet he's on, no matter <em>where</em> he is, Optimus Prime is only allowed to transform into a truck and not Tim Burton's version of <a href="http://www.comicbookmovie.com/images/users/uploads/9043/batmobile-512.jpg">the Batmobile</a> from 1989. Well, okay, we lied -- we'll also accept Optimus in <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ShiiLjwwZfs">gorilla form</a>, too. <br />

So, there it is: the <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/skate-3">Skate 3</a> </em>box art. There certainly is a lot less <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Skate-2-Xbox-360/dp/B001GGM2M6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&amp;s=videogames&amp;qid=1267130447&amp;sr=8-1">white space</a> this time around, eh?<br />
<br />
Along with that, EA's also sent over a new developer diary and a handful of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/skate-3-02-25-2010/">new screens</a> for you to look at. The developer diary offers a look at the clean, wide-open spaces of the University district in <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/01/29/skate-3-dev-diary-explains-the-origins-of-port-carverton/">Port Carverton</a> -- an area not only home to various ledges and long staircases, but it's also the new resting place of the Mega Park, the series' ongoing hot-spot for huge, ridiculous air and impossible drop-ins. Head past the break to check it out.<br />

Rockstar has an exclusive -- wait, how can Rockstar have the exclusive on its own game? Anyway, there's a set of <a href="http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/2010/02/25/3431/exclusive_new_red_dead_redemption_screens_people_of_the_west_%28part_one%29">screens</a> for <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/red-dead-redemption"><em>Read Dead Redemption</em></a> over at Rockstar's site. <br />
<br />
The screens take a noticeable departure from the usual media we've seen coming from the game, trading in the requisite gunplay and horseback riding for brief bios on some of the world's inhabitants. Above, you can see Nigel West Dickens, the kindly old gentleman who promises to cure what ails you through one of his many tonics. Is there anything that drinking didn't fix back in the old west?<br />
<br />
So mosey on down to Rockstar's site to see all them thar screens if you please, cowpoke.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/02/25/red-dead-redemption-screens-introduce-the-locals/">Red Dead Redemption screens introduce the locals</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 25 Feb 2010 21:02:00 EST. <br />
The first batch of screens from Rockstar's long-awaited <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/la-noire/"><em>L.A. Noire</em></a> have finally surfaced over at <a href="http://gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2010/02/15/new-exclusive-screens-for-l-a-noire.aspx">Game Informer</a>, likely having enjoyed a lengthy three martini lunch in some dark, smokey bar in Uptown for the past <em>ever</em>. The screens depict things very appropriate to the period -- white wall tires and smart business suits; long shadows and plenty of pistols. As for other details, we won't know until the latest issue hits newsstands.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/02/15/l-a-noire-screens-are-all-pinstripes-and-pipes/">L.A. Hudson's banking that you'll want to sample its brand of "<a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/07/10/hudson-officially-reveals-wii-survival-horror-calling/">traditional survival-horror</a>" in <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/calling/"><em>Calling</em></a>. Make all of the jokes you want about the game's <em>phoney</em> nature; what we've seen so far <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/11/11/new-hudson-survival-horror-trailers-are-calling/">is downright creepy</a>. And in the interest of getting your week off on a frightful foot, we've rummaged around in Hudson's creepy old mansion to secure some more screens, which you can find in the gallery below.<br />

We're not going to pussy-foot around this (ha, you said -- <em>nevermind</em>): Team Ico's highly-anticipated <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/the-last-guardian"><em>The Last Guardian</em></a> finally has an honest-to-goodness <a href="http://www.jp.playstation.com/scej/title/trico/">website</a> now, chock full of saliva-inducing high-res screens. Aside from that, there isn't really much there at the site now -- apart from the trailers we've all seen way too many times but, hey, you might as well <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/09/24/fumito-ueda-on-the-reality-of-the-last-guardians-fantasy-oh-a/">watch</a> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/06/11/the-last-guardian-full-trailer-screens-and-our-love/">them</a> again because it's been [insert any amount of time here] since you last watched them and why not? Anyway, go to the site and look at the new screens. <br />
<br />
What? No more words! The only thing we want to hear is you going "awwww" at the beautiful relationship between a young boy and his catbird <em>thing</em>.<br />

We hope you wanted to see a bunch of screens from<span style="font-style: italic;"> </span><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/halo-reach"><em>Halo: Reach</em></a> today. Bungie has uploaded a ton of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/halo-reach/full/#2701348">new images</a>, showing off environments and gameplay, as well as an extensive collection of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/halo-reach-0/full/#2650938">concept art</a> (all compiled in the gallery below). You'll also find some <a href="http://www.bungie.net/projects/reach/article.aspx?ucc=personnel">character bios </a>on Bungie's site, if you plan on getting to know your squad of Spartans a little better.<br />
<br />
The images are generally full of the things you'd expect at this point: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/halo-reach/full/#2701367">Spartans</a>; <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/halo-reach/full/#2701355">Covenant</a>; and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/halo-reach/full/#2701359">general <em>Halo-y</em> goodness</a>, but <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/halo-reach/full/#2701361">one image in particular</a> is very curious to us. Not only is the reticle not in the center of the screen, but there's also a HUD item scrubbed out. Whatever could it be? <br />
<br />
We know the internet has had way more experience than us in putting <em>Halo</em> stuff under the microscope, so we leave the guesstimating up to you. Best one wins our undying love and admiration <em>forever</em>!<br />

Halfbrick has uploaded a slew of new screens for its upcoming XBLA puzzle-platformer, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/the-raskulls"><em>The Raskulls</em></a>, to the game's <a href="http://www.raskulls.com/">official site</a>. There hasn't been much on the title yet, save for <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/06/12/the-raskulls-bust-some-blocks-in-latest-trailer/">a brief trailer</a> showing some gameplay and thoughts on the game from its art lead during <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/04/14/joystiq-interview-halfbrick-studios/">our interview with Halfbrick</a>, but these new shots show the game is coming along nicely. We have yet to get our hands on it, but if <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/06/12/the-raskulls-bust-some-blocks-in-latest-trailer/">the recent trailer</a> is any indication, it looks like a frenetic, friendship-endangering good time. Hit up the gallery below for the new screens.<br />

<br />
We hope you didn't have anything planned for the next hour or so, because we've got quite the mission and you're the only person who can <em>get the job done</em>. See, Konami deployed a bounty of new screens (63 in all) for <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/metal-gear-solid-peace-walker"><em>Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker</em></a> and we can't possibly get through them all. <br />
<br />
There are some <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/metal-gear-solid-peace-walker-1-21-10/#2640544">multiplayer screens</a>, art of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/metal-gear-solid-peace-walker-1-21-10/#2640524">various</a> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/metal-gear-solid-peace-walker-1-21-10/#2640526">characters</a> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/metal-gear-solid-peace-walker-1-21-10/#2640576">equipment shots</a>, and even a few screens of <em>Peace Walker</em>'s progressive recruitment system we've dubbed "<a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/metal-gear-solid-peace-walker-1-21-10/#2640562">the smart balloon</a>." As if we weren't frightened enough by <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dxAndD9lVqM">stranger danger</a>, now we have to know that the military has had auto-piloting balloons that can whisk us off to "re-education" centers at will since the '70s. It's just a video game, right, guys? <em>Right?</em><br />

We hope you've got your stethoscope handy, because we have some new <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/trauma-team"><em>Trauma Screens</em></a> to look over and nary <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/12/31/trauma-team-characters-detailed-by-atlus-a-real-doctor/">a Doctor Wife[TM]</a> in sight. There are some <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/trauma-team-1-18-10/2629771/">cuts</a> to look at, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/trauma-team-1-18-10/2629767/">erratic breathing patterns</a> to resolve and even the case of trembly handitis pictured above that needs a cure. So: grab a pen and a clipboard and head into our gallery below to help nurse these wounded screens back to health. <br />

Just like Capcom has done for <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/01/07/heres-muay-super-street-fighter-iv-media-to-thai-you-over/"><em>Super Street Fighter IV</em></a>, the publisher's unloaded a healthy dose of new <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/lost-planet-2"><em>Lost Planet 2</em></a> media during <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/ces-2010">CES 2010</a>. In our gallery below, you'll find we've tactically placed seven new screens to study, each with the requisite number of explosions and gigantic metal <em>killing machines</em>. Oh, and light bloom. There's a lot of that. <br />

There's some <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/01/07/mad-catz-reveals-teased-super-street-fighter-iv-accessories/">new fight sticks</a> to look forward to, new screens and two new gameplay trailers -- which have oddly low volume, for some reason -- showing off those sweet new <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/01/06/new-super-street-fighter-iv-ultra-combos-costumes-revealed/">Ultra Combos</a>.<br />
<br />
You can check out the new screens in our gallery below, but you'll have to jump past the break for the conclusion of this two-part combo of fresh gameplay clips. It's totally worth it, we assure you.<br />

We've all seen screens <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/21/xbla-perfect-dark-makes-original-look-like-an-n64-game/">here</a> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/perfect-dark-xbla-1/">there</a> from Rare's upcoming high def-ified <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/perfect-dark">Perfect Dark</a> </em>port for XBLA. Today, we're happy to report there's a whole bunch of new media out there to sift through, courtesy of Gamertag Radio. <br />
<br />
Head past the break for video of <em>Perfect Dark</em>'s Carrington Institute level or, if you're one who worries about a sudden outbreak of motion sickness, check out some stills from the game over on GTR's flickr page. <em>Perfect Dark </em>is currently scheduled for a "<a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/12/09/perfect-dark-coming-early-2010-still-winter/">Winter 2010</a>" release.<br />

Anxious to get your hands on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/final-fantasy-xiv"><em>Final Fantasy XIV</em></a>'s <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/04/final-fantasy-xiv-details-revealed-no-leveling-new-job-system/">new job system and level-less gameplay</a>? Your best bet is to sign up for <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/12/16/square-enix-accepting-beta-applications-for-pc-final-fantasy-xiv/">the beta</a> -- oh, you've already done that? Well, there's nothing we can do to make your wait any easier, aside from assaulting your eye holes with a staggering amount of new screenshots. <br />
<br />
Square Enix has unloaded the new media onto <a href="http://www.finalfantasyxiv.com/">the game's official site</a>, though in our usual style we've plucked out all of the good stuff and situated 'em into our gallery below. Consider it our gift to you this holiday season. Sharing <em>is</em> caring, y'know.<br />

There's a bounty of new media from CING's <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/hotel-dusk">Hotel Dusk</a> </em>sequel, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/11/12/rumor-hotel-dusk-sequel-coming-to-ds-in-japan-early-next-year/"><em>Last Window</em></a>, to check out. Screens and a pair of new trailers await anxious looky-loos and should provide <em>Hotel Dusk</em> fans with a comfortable familiarity -- <em>Last Window</em> pretty much looks like a <em>Hotel Dusk</em> sequel. <br />
<br />
You can peep the two trailers over at <a href="http://www.nintendo.co.jp/ds/yluj/movie/index.html">Nintendo of Japan's site</a>, while you'll have to hit up Game Watch for <a href="http://game.watch.impress.co.jp/docs/news/20091222_338834.html">the new screens</a>. Just remember to pace yourself. We wouldn't want you overdoing it like the dude above this chunk of text.<br />

In a recent study conducted by Insight Media titled the "Stereoscopic 3D Gaming Report," researchers concluded that the install base of 3D-ready televisions will rise to "over 40 million" by 2014. <a href="http://www.mcvuk.com/news/36810/40m-3D-displays-predicted-for-2014">MCV</a> reports that the $5,000 study's results are based on the statistical outperformance of 3D film over 2D equivalents, as well as "extensive testing of the first generation of 3D games."<br />
<br />
"We spoke directly with gamers, game developers, and game publishers ... to build a complete picture of the future of gaming," lead analyst Dale Maunu said of the testing. In fairness, when we last saw <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/01/11/ces-2009-eyes-on-with-sonys-real-3d-games/">3D technology in games</a>, it kind of <em>blew our minds, </em>so we'd like to trust Mr. Maunu -- that being said, we're still paying off these HDTVs. It's a big system, and kind of a big mystery, given that the only advance notice we had of the thing was a <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/10/26/report-nintendo-updating-dsi-with-bigger-screens-this-year/"><em>Nikkei</em> blurb</a> two days prior. While we can't answer the <em>big</em> questions, like how long this idea has been in the works, and whether a <em>bigger</em> handheld is a good idea as an alternative to the DS's continual miniaturization, we <em>can</em> round up what we know and can reasonably speculate about the DSi XL -- right after the jump.<br />

<br /> Remember that show <em>Prison Break?</em> Yeah, from like the mid-Aughts or whatever. Anyway, Zootfly is <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/11/deep-silver-planning-a-prison-break/">making it into a video game</a>. Today, the game's publisher, Deep Silver, released a batch of screenshots and reiterated the plot as follows:<br /> <br /> "The protagonist of the <em>Prison Break</em> game is Company agent Tom Paxton. He is sent to the Fox River State Penitentiary to find out why Michael Scofield (the hero of the TV series), a man without a previous criminal record, became a bank robber. The storyline runs parallel to the first season of <em>Prison Break:</em> Paxton encounters several characters from the series and experiences key events from his own perspective."<br /> <br /> But you see, we believe the screens are hinting at a far different plot -- <em>a plot that has to be exposed.</em> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/prison-break-mock-game-guide/2382750/">Follow along</a> as we guide you through the (totally unofficial -- like, we made it up) blueprint for a <em>Prison Break</em> game ...<br />

Game Informer's slow trickle of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/epic-mickey"><em>Epic Mickey</em></a> deets has turned into a full-on firehose today, as the site has <a href="http://gameinformer.com/b/features/archive/2009/10/19/Inside-the-Game_3A00_-An-In_2D00_Depth-Look-at-Epic-Mickey_1920_s-Art-and-Animation.aspx">published</a> a massive five-page feature on the game's environments, concept art and character animations. The feature not only talks about the developmental process for animators and designers at Junction Point Studios, but also delves into the game's world a bit, showing off screens of the cartoon objects and inert objects populating the land. The former are things the player can create and erase in the game, whereas the latter are permanent objects in the game world that the player cannot affect.<br /><br />There's even some really odd stuff to look at -- like <a href="http://gameinformer.com/cfs-filesystemfile.ashx/__key/CommunityServer.Components.ImageFileViewer/CommunityServer.Blogs.Components.WeblogFiles.00.00.00.00.09/3113.Donald.jpg_2D00_610x0.jpg">a robotic Donald Duck</a> and <a href="http://gameinformer.com/b/features/archive/2009/10/19/Inside-the-Game_3A00_-An-In_2D00_Depth-Look-at-Epic-Mickey_1920_s-Art-and-Animation.aspx">a video of Mickey Mouse shadowboxing</a>. Coming up with headlines is <em>tough</em> -- except in the case of these new <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/metal-gear-solid-peace-walker">MGS: Peace Walker</a> </em>screens from GamesCom. There are plenty of screens to ogle (ten, to be exact!), but none tug at the heart strings more than the screen you see above. There's something <em>magical</em> about two Snakes running around with cardboard disguises that just ... you'll have to excuse us, we have something in our eye.<br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/metal-gear-solid-peace-walker-gamescom-2009/">Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (GamesCom 2009)</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/metal-gear-solid-peace-walker-gamescom-2009/#2218889"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/08/gc2009_pw001_thumbnail.jpg" alt="gc2009_pw001" title="gc2009_pw001" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/metal-gear-solid-peace-walker-gamescom-2009/#2218890"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/08/gc2009_pw002_thumbnail.jpg" alt="gc2009_pw002" title="gc2009_pw002" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/metal-gear-solid-peace-walker-gamescom-2009/#2218891"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/08/gc2009_pw003_thumbnail.jpg" alt="gc2009_pw003" title="gc2009_pw003" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/metal-gear-solid-peace-walker-gamescom-2009/#2218892"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/08/gc2009_pw004_thumbnail.jpg" alt="gc2009_pw004" title="gc2009_pw004" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/metal-gear-solid-peace-walker-gamescom-2009/#2218893"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/08/gc2009_pw005_thumbnail.jpg" alt="gc2009_pw005" title="gc2009_pw005" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/19/mgs-peace-walker-screens-are-hiding-under-a-cardboard-tank/">MGS: Peace Walker screens are hiding under a cardboard tank</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 19 Aug 2009 12:45:00 EST. German site <a href="http://www.pcgames.de/aid,691533/I-Am-Alive-Screenshots-Zerstoererische-Katastrophen-Bilder-aufgetaucht/PC/News/">PCGames</a> got its hands ... er, server on a set of screenshots purported to be from an early version of Ubisoft's disaster game <em>I Am Alive</em>. The images, which originated at <a href="http://www.unseen64.net/2009/07/28/i-am-alive-x360ps3-beta/">Unseen64</a>, are said to come from a build of the title from when it was being worked on by <em>Alone in the Dark </em>dev Darkworks. (It's since been <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/03/06/ubisoft-moves-i-am-alive-from-darkworks-to-ubisoft-shanghai/">handed over</a> to Ubisoft Shanghai.)<br /><br />The screens look plenty disaster-y in their depiction of a post-earthquake Chicago. It's hard to make much of them, though, since they're, y'know, just environments. Let's hope the game's new developer is working hard to deliver gameplay akin to what the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/07/15/ubisoft-to-declare-i-am-alive-in-spring-2009/">original teaser trailer</a> hinted at. <br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.worthplaying.com/article.php?sid=64833">WorthPlaying</a>]<br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/i-am-alive-beta/">I Am Alive (Beta)</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/i-am-alive-beta/#2183739"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/08/ial.080309.7_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/i-am-alive-beta/#2183738"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/08/ial.080309.6_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/i-am-alive-beta/#2183737"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/08/ial.080309.5_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/i-am-alive-beta/#2183735"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/08/ial.080309.3_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/i-am-alive-beta/#2183734"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/08/ial.080309.2_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/03/rumor-i-am-alive-but-i-may-not-still-look-like-these-screens/">Rumor: I Am Alive, but I may not look like these screens anymore</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 03 Aug 2009 23:30:00 EST.
