A member of the Sony PR team recently noted on <a href="http://twitter.com/#!/Takuboh/status/57026149078937600">Twitter</a> that the <em>White Knight Chronicles</em> series has shipped a million units globally. <a href="http://www.siliconera.com/2011/04/10/white-knight-chronicles-series-stands-tall-with-1-million-units-shipped/">Siliconera</a> points out that the figure covers <em>White Knight Chronicles</em>, <em>White Knight Chronicles EX Edition, White Knight Chronicles: International Edition</em> (US/EU),<em> <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/09/03/white-knight-chronicles-dogma-wars-for-psp-revealed-will-offer/">White Knight Chronicles </a></em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/09/03/white-knight-chronicles-dogma-wars-for-psp-revealed-will-offer/">for PSP</a> and <em>White Knight Chronicles 2</em>.<br />
<br />
<em>White Knight Chronicles 2</em> was recently <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/04/07/d3-publisher-picks-up-white-knight-chronicles-2-for-north-americ/">announced for North America</a>, and both it and the PSP game were <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/03/09/new-white-knight-chronicles-games-coming-to-europe-on-psp-and-ps/">announced for Europe</a>. The franchise may not be doing <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/03/26/pokemon-black-and-white-sell-2-million-in-u-s-in-first-two-week/"><em>Pokemon</em> numbers</a>, but it's not fading into the night either.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2011/04/12/white-knight-chronicles-franchise-ships-1-million-units/">White Knight Chronicles franchise ships 1 million units</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 12 Apr 2011 03:01:00 EST. Level-5's PSP entry to the <em><a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/white-knight-chronicles">White Knight Chronicles</a></em> franchise has finally been revealed in the latest issue of <a href="http://www.famitsu.com/news/201009/03032965.html">Famitsu</a>.<em> Episode Portable: Dogma Wars</em> is a prequel, set 10,000 years before the events of the PS3 games. Set in the Dogma Age, the Yshrenia and Athwan Empires are fighting for control over the world. You will command the Athwan "Train Battalion" as you fight the towering mecha Knights of the Yshrenia. As <a href="http://www.andriasang.com/e/blog/2010/09/02/white_knight_psp_detailed/">Andriasang</a> points out, "<span>you're going to be fighting the giants this time instead of transforming into them."</span><br />
<br />
No gameplay details have been revealed, but <em>Dogma Wars</em> already sounds dramatically different from its PS3 counterparts. Fans of the franchise will want to keep an eye on it -- if only for the promised connectivity with the upcoming PS3 sequel.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/09/03/white-knight-chronicles-dogma-wars-for-psp-revealed-will-offer/">White Knight Chronicles: Dogma Wars for PSP revealed, will offer PS3 connectivity</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 03 Sep 2010 15:00:00 EST. Through August 21, Sony's retail site is offering one of six first-party games for free with the purchase of a 120GB PS3 Slim. You can choose from <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/uncharted-2-among-thieves"><em>Uncharted 2</em></a><em>, </em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/motorstorm-pacific-rift"><em>MotorStorm: Pacific Rift</em></a><em>, </em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/mag"><em>MAG</em></a><em>, </em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/heavy-rain"><em>Heavy Rain</em></a>, <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/modnation-racers">ModNation Racers</a></em> or <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/white-knight-chronicles"><em>White Knight Chronicles</em></a>.<br />
<br />
Why the wait? The PS3 is currently on backorder at Sony Style, though the offer still seems to be good. So you can order now and actually receive your system later. Think of it as setting your future self up with a wonderful surprise.<br />
<br />

Level-5's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/white-knight-chronicles"><em>White Knight Chronicles</em></a> may have had some <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/02/04/review-white-knight-chronicles/">issues</a>, but it's not stopping the company from pursuing <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/10/09/time-to-start-waiting-for-white-knight-chronicles-2/">a sequel</a>, set to be released in Japan next month. It would seem the series is also extending to Sony's PSP, as the latest issue of Japanese mag <em>Famitsu</em> (via <a href="http://www.andriasang.com/e/blog/2010/06/30/white_knight_psp/">Andriasang</a>) reveals a PSP entry set for a 2011 launch.<br />
<br />
While <em>White Knight Chronicles 2</em> wraps up the story of Leonard and the events set in motion by the first game, the PSP game will introduce a new story and characters. "<span>And then, to a new world," the text on the teaser page announces. </span><span>"<em>White Knight Chronicles New Project</em>. A story of your avatar and new allies, told on the PlayStation Portable, is set to start in 2011."</span><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/06/30/famitsu-white-knight-chronicles-coming-to-psp-in-2011/">Famitsu: White Knight Chronicles coming to PSP in 2011</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 30 Jun 2010 11:03:00 EST. If you can't wait for the updated (<a href="http://www.andriasang.com/e/blog/2010/06/05/white_knight_2_original_clear_file/">and <em>mandatory</em></a>) version of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/white-knight-chronicles"><em>White Knight Chronicles</em></a> that's slated to come packaged with the RPG's upcoming sequel, you might want to act on today's <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/goldbox/discussion/A1XE9Z2J7AM6I1/ref=xs_gb_bd_BsBBWkMAiayB?ie=UTF8&amp;pf_rd_p=441937801&amp;pf_rd_s=center-2&amp;pf_rd_t=701&amp;pf_rd_i=20&amp;pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&amp;pf_rd_r=068CDYY6FN3THP87G9VS">Amazon Gold Box deal</a>. Instead of ponying up $60 for Level 5's giant soldier-centric onus, the online retailer is offering it for $37, which ... well, which seems like an awfully arbitrary price point, doesn't it? Why not $35, or $40? Something <em>round</em> and <em>pleasant</em>, you know?<br />
<br />
As with all Gold Box deals, this one has a fairly short half-life, and will be taken down at 2 a.m. EDT, or whenever it sells out -- whichever comes first. Again, considering the game will be bundled with <em>White Knight Chronicles 2</em>, we're betting on the former.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/06/08/amazon-gold-box-white-knight-chronicles-for-37/">Amazon Gold Box: White Knight Chronicles for $37</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 08 Jun 2010 13:16:00 EST. While the first <em><a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/white-knight-chronicles">White Knight Chronicles</a></em> only made its English debut a few months ago, Japan is already preparing for its <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/white-knight-chronicles-2">sequel</a>. It's been a long time since Sony's released media of the upcoming PS3 RPG, but with its July release encroaching, it appears the marketing machine is being oiled up. This new trailer focuses largely on the story and the cinematics for Level-5's sequel, and it highlights characters -- new and old -- for this second adventure.<br />
<br />
Even if you can't understand a word they're saying, don't fret -- there's still a lot to appreciate. Free-fall mecha transformations can be understood in any language, right?<br />

Every Thursday, starting this week through June, Sony will add new quests to Level-5's RPG, visible in the world map, and all downloadable for free.<br />
<br />
Each week, a new permanent quest will be available, along with limited-time quests that you can only download for two weeks. And to mark the occasion, Sony is giving away a 12-inch White Knight figurine to one lucky player that logs into one of six quests during a certain time period. See <a href="http://blog.us.playstation.com/2010/03/09/white-knight-chronicles-free-quests-through-june/">PlayStation Blog</a> for all the details.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/03/10/free-white-knight-chronicles-weekly-quests-through-june/">Free White Knight Chronicles weekly quests through June</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 10 Mar 2010 09:58:00 EST. Consumers in the UK poured out the pounds for PS3's <em><a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/heavy-rain">Heavy Rain</a> </em>last week, according to <a href="http://www.chart-track.co.uk/?i=802&amp;s=1111">Chart-Track</a>'s <a href="http://www.chart-track.co.uk/index.jsp?c=p/software/uk/latest/index_test.jsp&amp;ct=110015">all-formats chart</a>. The adventure game <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/02/22/aliens-vs-predator-facehugs-uk-charts-just-dance-not-going-any/">took the hill from <em>Aliens vs. Predator</em></a>, which slipped down one spot. Meanwhile, <em>Just Dance</em> kept doing its cha-cha of endurance and took third.<br />
<br />
Nintendo's <em>Wii Fit Plus</em> got a second wind (or a big shipment to the region) and overtook <em>Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 </em>after moving up five spots and into fourth. Finally, <em>Napoleon: Total War</em> marched in at #12 while <em>White Knight Chronicles</em> began its quest at #35.<br />

Had it been released closer to the PS3 launch, it might have wowed some gamers with its large enemies and online integration, but the time seems to have elapsed for that as well. <br />
<br />
Instead of the grand system-selling RPG many expected back then, Level-5's PS3 debut is a fairly standard JRPG with excellent character building options and nothing incredibly special to <em>do</em> with those characters.<br />

Sony made us wait a few years for a North American release of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/white-knight-chronicles"><em>White Knight Chronicles</em></a>, but it's not waiting at all to give us a chance to spend more money on the game -- the official Sony blog has news that <a href="http://blog.us.playstation.com/2010/02/white-knight-chronicles-ships-today/">the first DLC for the game</a> will be out ASAP, offering up microtransactions for items to fill out the in-game "Georama" space, as well as a $4.99 "key" that will allow you to completely re-customize your character without having to start the game all over again. Of course, Sony guarantees that "there is PLENTY for you to work with in the game itself," but just in case you want to pay a little more of your hard-earned paycheck, Sony will be happy to take it.<br />
<br />
And finally, just in time for launch day, it's offered up a brand new trailer. That won't cost you anything but a click on the link below, as it's available to watch after the break.<br />

Further expanding on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/littlebigplanet"><em>LittleBigPlanet</em>'s</a> catalog of costumes portraying PS3-exclusive game protagonists, Media Molecule has revealed that the next set of in-game duds will come from <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/white-knight-chronicles"><em>White Knight Chronicles</em></a> on February 25. According to <a href="http://blog.us.playstation.com/2010/01/more-white-knight-chronicles-goodness-character-creation-video/">the PlayStation.Blog post</a> announcing the new content, the costume pack will include the garbs of four of the RPG's legendary heroes: The White Knight, Black Knight, Dragon Knight, and ... <em>Leonard</em>. One of these things is <em>significantly</em> less awesome than the others.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/01/30/white-knight-chronicles-costumes-coming-to-littlebigplanet/">White Knight Chronicles costumes coming to LittleBigPlanet</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sat, 30 Jan 2010 14:30:00 EST. We'll be frank -- there are <em>quite a few</em> JRPGs heading to consoles in the next few months. From <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/last-rebellion">Last Rebellion</a></em> to <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/white-knight-chronicles">White Knight Chronicles</a></em> to <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/final-fantasy-xiii">Final Fantasy XIII</a></em>, it's kinda hard to get excited for yet another in <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/resonance-of-fate">Resonance of Fate</a></em>. That being said, the game's screens and video have thus far been unbelievably impressive (with the new gallery below serving to further that point), and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/09/24/tgs-2009-hands-on-resonance-of-fate/">our last hands-on</a> with game was fairly positive. We'll do our best to remember all of that when the game releases on <em>the same day</em> as <em>FFXIII</em>. Seriously.<br />

The American version of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/white-knight-chronicles"><em>White Knight Chronicles</em></a> has just earned a release date and a subtitle. SCEA is calling it the "International Edition," thanks to the addition of 50 new quests, voice chat, Georama and Live Talk. However, we think "The Incredibly Tardy Edition" is probably a more apt title, considering the 14-month wait fans have had to endure.<br />
<br />
<em>White Knight Chronicles</em>' February 2nd release date places it before other big 2010 games on PS3, such as <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/bioshock-2"><em>BioShock 2</em></a>, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/dantes-inferno"><em>Dante's Inferno</em></a>, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/star-ocean"><em>Star Ocean</em></a>, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/heavy-rain"><em>Heavy Rain</em></a>, and most importantly -- our <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/12/02/mega64-makes-its-own-mind-blowing-final-fantasy-xiii-announcemen/">lord and savior</a> <em>Final Fantasy XIII</em>. We wonder if Level-5's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/10/02/interview-level-5s-yoshiaki-kusada/">Yoshiaki Kusada</a> will be happy with the distance between these two PS3 RPG juggernauts.<br />

Ha! You guys are still waiting for <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/white-knight-chronicles"><em>White Knight Chronicles</em></a>? That's old news, folks. It's time to get hyped about its sequel. Unofficially titled "<em>White Knight Chronicles: Awakening of Light and Darkness</em>" (according to <a href="http://www.andriasang.com/e/blog/2009/10/09/white_knight_chronicles_2">Andriasang</a>), the sequel takes place immediately after the events of the first game. Leonard and his allies return to a world in chaos, with <span>the City of Greed, the Kingdom of Barandel, and the Magic Republic of Foria all in trouble.<br /><br />You'll create another avatar to join Leonard on his quest, and this time you'll be able to transform (a power unavailable in the first game). In addition to the requisite new areas, monsters, equipment and skills, <em>White Knight Chronicles 2</em> will also feature a brand new female knight, and the ability to have six characters in your party.<br /><br />SCE didn't reveal when the second <em>White Knight</em> game would hit Japan, but we do know this: English-speaking fans shouldn't expect to it see any time soon.<br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/white-knight-chronicles-2/">White Knight Chronicles 2</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/white-knight-chronicles-2/#2353595"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/10/2009-10-09_12-05-13_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/white-knight-chronicles-2/#2353594"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/10/2009-10-09_12-05-53_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/white-knight-chronicles-2/#2353593"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/10/2009-10-09_12-05-39_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/white-knight-chronicles-2/#2353592"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/10/2009-10-09_12-05-09_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/white-knight-chronicles-2/#2353591"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/10/2009-10-09_12-05-02_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br /></span><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/10/09/time-to-start-waiting-for-white-knight-chronicles-2/">Time to start waiting for White Knight Chronicles 2</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 09 Oct 2009 13:40:00 EST. Sony Computer Entertainment and Level-5 have been slow in bringing <a href="http://playstation.joystiq.com/tag/white-knight-chronicles"><em>White Knight Chronicles</em></a> out of Japan. We talked with Level-5 manager Yoshiaki Kusada about the lengthy delay of the international version, and if the developer is concerned about competing against Square Enix's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/final-fantasy-xiii"><em>Final Fantasy XIII</em></a> as the PS3 JRPG of choice next spring.<br /><br /><strong>Joystiq:<em> White Knight Chronicles</em> has been out in Japan for a very long time. Why has it taken so long to find release in America?</strong><br /><br />Kusada: When Level-5 launched the <em>Dark Cloud</em> series in the past in Japan, we tried to incorporate feedback from users to make updates before releasing it overseas. In terms of <em>White Knight Chronicles</em>, since it's an online game, we have received a lot of feedback from users. So, we wanted to improve the title more based on the feedback from the users before releasing it overseas. In fact, in the Japanese market, these improvements have been made available through patching. We are awfully sorry we have been keeping the US users for so long, but we wanted to make sure that all the updates and improvements of everything up to the so-called "Second Wave," which includes Georama, before delivering it to the US users. After the "Second Wave," we started the localization of the game for the international market. We are so sorry that it has taken so much time. For the time, we believe we are able to deliver a much better game for the US market. So, I would like to ask for a bit more patience.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/10/02/interview-level-5s-yoshiaki-kusada/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Interview: Level-5's Yoshiaki Kusada</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/10/02/interview-level-5s-yoshiaki-kusada/">Interview: Level-5's Yoshiaki Kusada</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 02 Oct 2009 20:40:00 EST. We've waited a few years -- what's a few more months?<br /><br />A new trailer released at Gamescom showcases the various characters, and in the process reveals Sony's English localization and voice acting. Level-5's made some aesthetically pleasing games in the past, but none have been quite as jaw-droppingly beautiful as <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/white-knight-chronicles"><em>White Knight Chronicles</em></a>. A recent <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/white-knight-chronicles-comic-con/">deluge of screenshots</a> from the game appeared around the end of the San Diego Comic Con -- we've wrangled them, and slapped them in the gallery below. <br /><br />Oh, sure, we've been seeing content from this massive RPG since the game came out in Japan last Christmas. Still, these shots are from the <em>American</em> version of the game -- that's the most beautiful thing of all, in our humble opinion. Woo! Go America!<br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/white-knight-chronicles-comic-con/">White Knight Chronicles (Comic-Con)</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/white-knight-chronicles-comic-con/#2176461"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/07/white-knight-chronicles-001-1248977537_thumbnail.jpg" alt="white-knight-chronicles-001-1248977537" title="white-knight-chronicles-001-1248977537" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/white-knight-chronicles-comic-con/#2176462"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/07/white-knight-chronicles-002-1248977538_thumbnail.jpg" alt="white-knight-chronicles-002-1248977538" title="white-knight-chronicles-002-1248977538" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/white-knight-chronicles-comic-con/#2176463"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/07/white-knight-chronicles-003-1248977539_thumbnail.jpg" alt="white-knight-chronicles-003-1248977539" title="white-knight-chronicles-003-1248977539" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/white-knight-chronicles-comic-con/#2176464"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/07/white-knight-chronicles-008-1248977540_thumbnail.jpg" alt="white-knight-chronicles-008-1248977540" title="white-knight-chronicles-008-1248977540" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/white-knight-chronicles-comic-con/#2176465"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/07/white-knight-chronicles-012-1248977543_thumbnail.jpg" alt="white-knight-chronicles-012-1248977543" title="white-knight-chronicles-012-1248977543" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/07/31/white-knight-chronicles-screens-are-eye-searingly-gorgeous/">White Knight Chronicles screens are eye-searingly gorgeous</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 31 Jul 2009 11:30:00 EST. The reason the game is taking so long to get to the West is because Level-5 is working on extra content, which will be included on the disc. This content will be patched in to the Japanese version for free at around the same time. <br /><br />Smaller features that are going to be added to the western release of the game include an autorun feature and improvements to the targeting system. The extra online missions that have been released since the Japanese launch -- roughly two a month -- will also be on the disc. Level-5 is also adding a system that was key to their <em>Dark Cloud</em> series, Georama, which will allow you to create your own town during the online portion of the game. Exactly how it'll work or how it will affect gameplay is unclear.<br /><br />Level-5 is looking in to getting Japanese voices into the western version of the game for Japanophiles, and is still "working on" voice chat, but <em>White Knight</em> chronicles will definitely support cross-region play for the US and Europe when it launches.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/06/03/white-knight-chronicles-gets-town-building-q1-release-for-us/">White Knight Chronicles gets town-building, Q1 release for US</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 03 Jun 2009 19:14:00 EST. <div align="left">Sony just <em>can't wait</em> any longer to show you its <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/white-knight-chronicles">White Knight Chronicles</a> </em>E3 trailer, so instead of sitting around impatiently, twiddling thumbs, the company decided to release it <em>today</em>. You can find it after the break. Sure, you may have seen a lot of <em>White Knight Chronicles</em> trailers in your time, with some even dating back to TGS 2006, but this one is special. This one's in <em>English</em>.<br /><br />There's nothing like seeing an English trailer to make you realise that, yes, this game <em>is</em> coming soon. We've been after this game for so long now that we almost gave up hope, but <em>White Knight Chronicles</em> -- complete with online co-op and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/04/29/joystiq-hands-on-white-knight-chronicles/"><em>hopefully</em> voice chat support</a> will be with us this year. Hopefully we'll hear a more concrete release at E3 next week.</div>

We hope you said "yes," because the latest official video of SCEA's <span style="font-style: italic;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/white-knight-chronicles">White Knight Chronicles</a> </span>is <span style="font-style: italic;">pretty bombastic</span>. It's also just plain <span style="font-style: italic;">pretty</span>. The footage is pieced together from in-game visuals, as we saw when playing <span style="font-style: italic;">WKC </span>for <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/04/29/joystiq-hands-on-white-knight-chronicles/">our recent hands-on</a>. We even battled as the giant <span style="text-decoration: line-through;">mech</span> White Knight itself, which looks like it could have leapt right out of <a href="http://www.bones.co.jp/works/tv03/index.html"><span style="font-style: italic;">RahXephon</span></a>. <div align="left">Sony and Level-5's latest role-playing collaboration, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/white-knight-chronicles"><em>White Knight Chronicles</em></a>, has been out in Japan since December, but we recently got a chance to check out a partially localized version of the game at Sony Gamers Day 2009. <br /><br />Starting up the demo, we were treated to an intro cinematic featuring final English voice-over. The sequence, featuring the game's hero Leonard and his party gearing up for their quest, immediately dispelled any doubt that Level 5 -- known for a typically more anime or cel-shaded art style -- could pull off an immensely detailed, more "mature" looking RPG. The cutscene also left us hopeful the voice acting we were hearing remained as solid throughout the entirety of the final game. <br /><br />Speaking of sound, Sony confirmed to us that it's planning to implement voice chat in the US and European versions of <em>White Knight Chronicles</em>, something that was painfully absent from the Japanese release. We're told it's not 100% set in stone, but the dev and localization teams "really want to make it happen."<br /> <div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/white-knight-chronicles/">White Knight Chronicles</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/white-knight-chronicles/#1525179"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/04/shiro138-0000000-4292009-19_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/white-knight-chronicles/#1525180"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/04/shiro179-0000007-4292009-6_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/white-knight-chronicles/#1525181"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/04/shiro179-0000009-4292009-21_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/white-knight-chronicles/#1525182"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/04/shiro126-0000000-4292009-14_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/white-knight-chronicles/#1525183"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/04/shiro87-0000000-4292009-10_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br /></div>

Level-5's J-RPG <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/white-knight-chronicles"><em>White Knight Chronicles</em></a> has been out in Japan for little under a month now. While some have perhaps already finished the main story, it doesn't mean that the adventure is over just yet. DLC for <em>WKC</em> will appear on the Japanese PS Store on January 15 (tomorrow) and will add new costumes and a whole new quest for online multiplayer.<br /><br />Those who own the game and plan to download the DLC will find that they'll have to meet certain in-game requirements before triggering the new mission. It'll only appear for those who have a guild rank of 7 or above, and it is recommended that players be at least level 36. <br /><br />We wonder how frequent Level-5 plans to release these packs, as we're certain that there will be more. Also -- since it was not mentioned in the <a href="http://www.gpara.com/article/cms_show.php?c_id=11249&amp;c_num=14">source article</a> -- is Level-5 charging for this content? We'll probably find that out when the update hits the store tomorrow. Anyway, hopefully we'll see this additional content come our way when the game <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/01/07/level-5-says-white-knight-chronicles-coming-to-north-america-on/">voyages to North America</a>.<br /><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/01/14/first-white-knight-chronicles-dlc-to-hit-jan-15/">First White Knight Chronicles DLC to hit Jan. 15</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 14 Jan 2009 08:00:00 EST. The latest Japanese hardware <a href="http://www.m-create.com/ranking/">sales figures</a> show <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/white-knight-chronicles"><em>White Knight Chronicles</em></a>' continued impact throughout the region. Numbers rose from 45,989 during <em>WKC</em>'s launch week to 60,654 the next. A rare occurrence, as sales have tended to substantially drop the week after a big release in the past. In fact, the increase means that <em>White Knight Chronicles</em> has sold more PS3s during its two-week launch period than <em>Metal Gear Solid 4</em>.<br /><br />While <em>MGS4</em> had higher launch week sales (75,311) it dropped considerably to only 20,336 the next week. A total of 95,647. <em>White Knight Chronicles</em>, on the other hand, has sold a total of 106,643 during its two week launch period, almost 11,000 more. We're intrigued to see how sales of both the game and hardware continue. <em>White Knight Chronicles</em> has already proven a greater success than we first suspected.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/01/12/white-knight-chronicles-sells-more-japanese-ps3s-than-mgs4/">White Knight Chronicles sells more Japanese PS3s than MGS4</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 12 Jan 2009 10:30:00 EST. The official sales figures for <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/white-knight-chronicles">White Knight Chronicles</a>'</em> Japanese debut are finally out. Media Create shows that the game sold just under 207,000 units during the week of December 22nd to the 28th. Bearing in mind that <em>White Knight Chronicles</em> is a new IP and that this figure accounts for only three days of sales, we're impressed. To put it into perspective, <em>White Knight Chronicles</em> now has the third best opening week PS3 sales ranking for the region, after <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/mgs4"><em>MGS4</em></a> (476K) and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/dmc4"><em>Devil May Cry 4</em></a> (212K). Both of which are long-running and very popular franchises.<br /><br /><em>White Knight Chronicles</em> also had an impact on PS3 hardware sales, keeping the upward momentum going by increasing sales from 39,136 units the previous week to 45,989 units. This is the highest number of units sold in a single week since <em>Metal Gear Solid 4</em> was released in June (which shifted 75,311 units). We're intrigued to see how both the game and the PS3 itself continue to sell in the following weeks.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/01/07/white-knight-chronicles-debuts-with-impressive-first-week-sales/">White Knight Chronicles debuts with impressive first week sales</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 07 Jan 2009 15:00:00 EST. Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino has confirmed that the PS3's <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/white-knight-chronicles"><span style="font-style: italic;">White Knight Chronicles</span></a> is coming to North America, though no release window has been announced. This should come as good news to JRPG fans, especially those who like having "Chronicles" in their titles.<br /><br />In an interview with <a href="http://www.gametrailers.com/player/44054.html">GameTrailers</a>, Hino also dances around the issue of the game's online features and whether cross-region play will be possible. Yes, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/white-knight-chronicles"><em>White Knight Chronicles</em></a> is coming to North America; Akihiro Hino, the CEO and president of Level-5, says so himself. In an interview with <a href="http://www.gametrailers.com/player/44055.html?r=1&amp;type=wmv">GameTrailers</a>, Hino reaffirmed that Level-5 plans to bring the game over to North America, but he did not disclose when it would be coming.<br /><br />Furthermore, when pressed for the possibility of North American gamers playing alongside Japanese gamers in <em>WKC's </em>online components, Hino neither denied nor confirmed the cross-region play with a "hasn't been decided yet" response. This sort of wording leads to speculation that such a feature might be in the works and will be implemented if Level-5 works out all the kinks. It would be great if they do. To see the full video interview, just have a look past the break.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/01/07/level-5-says-white-knight-chronicles-coming-to-north-america-on/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Level-5 says White Knight Chronicles coming to North America, online region locking not decided yet</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/01/07/level-5-says-white-knight-chronicles-coming-to-north-america-on/">Level-5 says White Knight Chronicles coming to North America, online region locking not decided yet</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 07 Jan 2009 07:30:00 EST. Merry Christmas, Japan! While the Western world grows fat on its own laziness (not to mention a massive amount of Christmas food) Japanese game stores remain open to sell five new great PS3 games. What's that strange smell, you ask? That's our pure, unadulterated jealousy. We <em>really</em> want to play <em>White Knight Chronicles</em>. Here's the release list:<br /><br /><strong>US Games</strong><br />No new releases<br /><br /><strong>EU Games<br /><br /></strong>No new releases<br /><br /><strong>Asian Games<br /></strong>

In case you're wondering, your PS3 <em>is</em> region free. So, yes, you can import <em>White Knight Chronicles</em> if you so wish. We're not sure if it's the sort of game that will get downloadable content, but if it does you'll have to get it from the Japanese PSN Store. Tempting though, isn't it?<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/12/21/worldwide-ps3-releases-for-the-week-of-december-21st/">Worldwide PS3 releases for the week of December 21st</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sun, 21 Dec 2008 12:20:00 EST. <div align="left">Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu has reviewed the upcoming Level-5 RPG <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/white-knight-chronicles"><em>White Knight Chronicles</em></a> and they weren't too impressed it, giving the PS3 exclusive a score of 29/40 (7,8,7,7). The reviewers didn't care for a number of elements in the game, such as the in-game menus, battle controls, chatting (apparently it was difficult to chat while moving around) and overly simplistic battle system. However, they did praise the game's customizable combos, epic battles and gorgeous looking world. Finally, the game length is said to clock in at about 30 hours.<br /><br />This doesn't bode well for <em>White Knight Chronicles</em> -- but do keep in mind that Famitsu has had rather strange opinions in the past -- they gave the universally panned <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/haze"><em>Haze</em></a> a 34/40 (9,8,9,8).<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.ps3hyper.com/news/need-more-improvements-weekly-famitsu-rates-white-knight-chronicles/">PS3Hyper</a>]</div>

Level-5's first big PS3 RPG, <em>White Knight Chronicles</em>, is hitting Japan very soon. In order to get the populace ready for this epic adventure, the <a href="http://www.jp.playstation.com/scej/title/shirokishi/">official Japanese site</a> now features a beautifully illustrated prequel manga. Simply click on "Special" at the top of the site to get a peek at the first issue. Sure, it's in Japanese, but for fans that are eagerly awaiting this game, this is a nice way of seeing the expansive world of <em>WKC</em>.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/12/10/white-knight-chronicles-prequel-manga-goes-live/">White Knight Chronicles prequel manga goes live</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 10 Dec 2008 10:15:00 EST. <p>The last time we did a story on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/white-knight-chronicles"><em>White Knight Chronicles</em></a>, we were bringing you a <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/11/05/love-white-knight-chronicles-heres-14-minutes-of-it/">14-minute look</a> at Level-5's studio and the online components of the game. It was an interesting look, having the developers show everyone around, but now it' time for a new trailer (and even more footage of online play).<br /><br />The trailer posted above is the same one that was played at the Tokyo Game Show last month. A lot of it includes spliced up imagery from the first trailer the year, before but it's got a few new things in there. The vid posted after the break shows us a little bit about how the "live party" online portion of the game works. Get into that if you want to know more.</p><p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/11/12/white-knight-chronicles-vids-online-play-and-tgs-08-trailer/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>White Knight Chronicles vids: online play and TGS 08 trailer</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/11/12/white-knight-chronicles-vids-online-play-and-tgs-08-trailer/">White Knight Chronicles vids: online play and TGS 08 trailer</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 12 Nov 2008 14:00:00 EST. After watching an all-Japanese interview and a brief trailer, closed theater-goers received a little card which gives access to a special video made available starting today. While all of you couldn't grab a card and consequently are not able to see this new video, we've done the work for you and are hosting the special treat for you to watch right here. <br /><br /><em>White Knight Chronicles</em> fans (especially the ones who can understand Japanese) will surely be interested in seeing this 14-minute long look into the making of the game. The first five minutes takes us on a guided tour through Level-5's posh Fukuoka studio. CEO and president of Level-5, Akihiro Hino, then takes us through eight minutes of the battle system, fending off overgrown monsters and transforming into the White Knight himself. The last minute includes some footage seen from the TGS trailer. So watch it right now! <em>WNC</em> is out in Japan on Christmas Day, December 25.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/11/05/love-white-knight-chronicles-heres-14-minutes-of-it/">Love White Knight Chronicles? <em><br />White Knight Chronicles</em> has changed a lot since we <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/09/20/tgs-hands-on-white-knight-story/">played it</a> at Tokyo Game Show last year. Our conclusion at the time was that the game would be a gorgeous JRPG with an intriguing, customizable battle system; an exciting prospect for RPG-starved PS3 owners to be sure. However, after today's <em>White Knight Chronicles</em> presentation, we're sure the game has the potential to be much more than that.<br /><br />A Level-5 employee introduced us to the game's story: It follows a boy and his search for a kidnapped princess <em>slash</em> love interest after discovering a conveniently hidden set of magic armor ... a tad clich&eacute;d (even by Japanese standards). In order to demonstrate the game's sense of enormity and scale we were shown a few concept pieces for the game. While rolling plains and towering castles are par for the course when it comes to JRPGs, it's been a while since we've seen an entire town straddled atop an enormous creature.<br /><br />We covered the battle system quite extensively <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/09/20/tgs-hands-on-white-knight-story/">at TGS last year</a>. We took the opportunity to space out a little while the developers explained how to link character abilities together into combos, using the palette menu and how Leonard can transform into the eponymous White Knight. Not that we were bored -- the battle system was the only thing that really set <em>White Knight Chronicles</em> apart. Until it was <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/10/08/white-knight-story-gets-four-player-online-co-op/">revealed</a> that the game would have a four-player online mode, that is.<br /><br />

Until it was <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/10/08/white-knight-story-gets-four-player-online-co-op/">revealed</a> that the game would have a four-player online mode, that is.<br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/white-knight-chronicles-tgs-2008/">White Knight Chronicles TGS 2008</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/white-knight-chronicles-tgs-2008/#1091569"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2008/10/whiteknightchroniclesscreenieawesome1110081024_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/white-knight-chronicles-tgs-2008/#1089026"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2008/10/whiteknightchroniclestgs200831024_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/white-knight-chronicles-tgs-2008/#1089025"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2008/10/whiteknightchroniclestgs200811024_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/white-knight-chronicles-tgs-2008/#1089024"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2008/10/whiteknightchroniclestgs200821024_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/white-knight-chronicles-tgs-2008/#1089023"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2008/10/whiteknightchroniclestgs2008171024_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/10/11/tgs-08-white-knight-chronicles-impressions/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>TGS 08: White Knight Chronicles impressions</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/10/11/tgs-08-white-knight-chronicles-impressions/">TGS 08: White Knight Chronicles impressions</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sat, 11 Oct 2008 13:00:00 EST. <div align="left">Japanese gaming magazine Dengeki PlayStation reveals in its latest issue an online co-op mode for the Level-5 RPG <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/white-knight-story"><em>White Knight Story</em></a>. This online mode is independent of the story mode, but will feature characters from the single-player mode. Here is how it works: a lobby will accommodate 16 players, who will then be separated into groups of up to four in order to tackle quests and challenges. This mode will also give players a way to chat with one another. <em>White Knight Story</em> will be playable at TGS, so we'll let you know our thoughts on the game when we get some hands-on time with it.<br /><br /></div>

According to this <a href="http://videogamerx.gamedonga.co.kr/zbxe/984614#0">Famitsu scan</a>, the PS3 exclusive <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/white-knight-story">White Knight Story</a></em> will be released on Japan on December 25th. The four-page story features an interview with producer Akihiro Hino. A subtitle has been unveiled, which translates to <em>Ancient Beat</em>. Aino tells us development is nearing the end but not completed. The producer claims this is the most epic title he has worked on and mentions an aspect of the game that is only possible on the PS3. Unfortunately, no word yet on a release date outside of Japan. <br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.ps3hyper.com/news/white-knight-chronicles-gets-official-title-release-date/">PS3Hyper</a> -- thanks to everyone who sent this in!]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/09/17/famitsu-white-knight-story-coming-to-japan-on-christmas-day/">Famitsu: White Knight Story coming to Japan on Christmas day</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 17 Sep 2008 09:30:00 EST. <p>Oops! Looks like we were a bit too eager to report on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/white-knight-story"><em>White Knight Story</em></a>'s release date. Yesterday we stated that the latest issue of Famitsu pegged the PS3 exclusive RPG's Japanese release date as December 11th. A flip through the actual magazine doesn't reveal the same date; in fact, the date is still unannounced.<br /><br />Fear not though, with the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/08/29/days-of-awakening-coming-soon-to-white-knight-story/">teaser message that appeared on the official website</a>, we should have a lot more information on <em>White Knight Story</em> soon -- hopefully during Tokyo Game Show. Stay tuned!</p>

<strong>Update</strong>: Ack! It seems the release date is <a href="http://kotaku.com/5045717/nope-white-knight-story-hasnt-been-dated-yet-folks">still unconfirmed</a>. Why are you doing this to us, Sony? Why?<br /><br />Is this what the "<a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/09/02/sony-awakens-hope-for-white-knight-story-update/">day of awakening</a>" was hinting at? Just a couple of days after we got that promise of new info from Sony, we hear that <em>Famitsu</em> has nailed down a date for <em>White Knight Chronicles </em>(that's <em>White Knight Story</em> to you and me): December 11. <br /><br />Now, does that mean that you'll be getting your hands on this terrifically sexy PS3 RPG anytime soon? Well, no, not necessarily. But it's certainly not bad news if you've been salivating since our <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/09/20/tgs-hands-on-white-knight-story/">2007 hands-on</a> with the game.<br /><br />[Thanks, erico316]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/09/04/white-knight-story-coming-to-japan-dec-11/">White Knight Story release still unknown [update]</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 04 Sep 2008 13:29:00 EST.
