The downloadable version of <em>Fable 2</em> has been removed from Xbox Live Marketplace, both via Xbox.com or the console itself. The news comes courtesy of a <a href="http://uk.gamespot.com/news/fable-ii-pulled-from-xbox-live-6400935">GameSpot</a> tipster, and we have confirmed that <em>Fable 2</em> has been pulled from Xbox Live in both its <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/03/13/fable-2-episodic-experiment-deemed-massively-successful-by-mol/">episodic</a> and <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/04/06/fable-2-follows-the-breadcrumbs-to-games-on-demand/">Games on Demand</a> forms. Associated <em>Fable 2</em> content, including DLC, trailers and avatar items, is still available for download. Furthermore, both the original <em>Fable</em> and <em>Fable 3</em> remain available to download.<br /><br />We've put word into Microsoft to see what's up. It's too early to be certain, but we suspect Hobbes were involved.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/12/03/fable-2-removed-from-xbox-com-games-on-demand/">Fable 2 removed from Xbox.com, Games on Demand</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 03 Dec 2012 14:00:00 EST. <br />
If you elect to queue a demo from Xbox.com on your browser, and you aren't logged into Xbox.com on that device, you run the risk of accidentally buying the content instead of trying it out, as pointed out by a <a href="http://www.giantbomb.com/news/nasty-xboxcom-login-issue-identified-but-theres-good-news/3888/">Giant Bomb</a> user.<br />
<br />
That's because after you click the "Try Game" button and log in, the system acts as if you've elected to buy, giving you a "Confirm Purchase" button. If you aren't paying attention, and you just click through, you'll have made the purchase.<br />
<br />
Luckily, Microsoft told Giant Bomb that the web team is aware of the problem, and is "actively working to resolve it." In the meantime, read every button!<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2012/01/05/xbox-com-issue-causes-risk-of-accidental-purchases/">Xbox.com issue causes risk of accidental purchases</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 05 Jan 2012 15:45:00 EST. <strong>Update</strong>: Xbox Live and Xbox.com are back, carry on.<br />
<br />
Xbox Live and Xbox.com are currently experiencing some unexplained technical problems.<br />
<br />
"Xbox.com is having issues at the moment," Director of Architecture for Xbox Live Operations Eric Neustadter noted on Twitter. "It's being worked on - sorry for the hassle, folks."<br />
<br />
We'll update as we learn more and once everything is operational again.<br />
<br />

Sure, crazy workarounds existed (like, say, moving the cursor to "Play Disc" and hitting the A button), but what if you only have one thumb and limited time? <br />
<br />
As promised, the functionality is returning this week. Major Nelson <a href="http://majornelson.com/archive/2011/01/18/xbox-live-and-xbox-com-updates-this-week.aspx">announced</a> as much this morning, noting that, like before, the boot to disc option will be accessible via System Settings on your Xbox's Dash -- users will be given a prompt for said update. <br />
<br />
Additionally, this Thursday, an update will be applied to Gamercards on Xbox.com. As pictured to the left, the yellow and light grey of Gamercards past will be replaced by a new black and dark grey color scheme -- we're calling them "Gamercards at Night" -- and they'll lose their "zone information." With any luck, a smoking jacket and pipe will be added in the coming months. A Gamercard's gotta accessorize!<br />
<br />

A "massive" redesign of Xbox.com will launch tomorrow, <a href="http://majornelson.com/archive/2010/10/19/changes-coming-to-xbox-com.aspx">Major Nelson</a> has announced. Beginning at 5AM ET on October 20, Xbox.com and the Xbox Forums will go offline for "a short period of time" to integrate the update. Once live again, the site will be all tidy and clean (pictured; <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/majornelson/sets/72157625068953531/">more images here</a>) and introduce several browser-based activities.<br />
<br />
Notably, a full Avatar Editor will be added to Xbox.com, allowing users to create, edit and <em>start all over</em> with their Avatars, as well as try on Avatar Marketplace items before purchasing them -- take note: "It just looked so fresh on the mannequin" will no longer be a valid excuse for spending 4 bucks on a <a href="http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/avatar/offers/011f0008-0000-4000-8000-0000545107fc/">Flashy Suit</a>. The Major also teases the new ability to "play web games with your Xbox Live friends on the web or on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/windows-phone-7">Windows Phone 7</a>" (but do we get Achievements for that?).<br />
<br />
The update will also improve messaging functionality on the site and provide access to Xbox Live usage data for family accounts -- you know, to track your kids'<span style="font-style: italic;"> </span>hours. We don't have to remind you how <em>critical</em> it is for the little ones to keep up with their <em>Modern Warfare 2</em> regimen to ensure a strong start in <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/game/call-of-duty-black-ops"><em>Black Ops</em></a> competition this November -- gotta keep those K/D ratios up! The 12-year-old might have trouble juggling multiplayer and school work, sure, but it's not like the fourth grader has <em>that</em> much homework getting in the way of a real shot to go pro one day.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2010/10/19/xbox-com-makeover-to-add-browser-based-avatar-editor-multiplaye/">Xbox.com makeover to add browser-based Avatar Editor, multiplayer web games</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 19 Oct 2010 14:20:00 EST. That "title premiere" could, of course, refer to a new game announcement, <em>or</em> it could refer to the release of new details about a known title, like the yet-to-be-dated <em><a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/lost-planet-2">Lost Planet 2</a>, </em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/dead-rising-2/"><em>Dead Rising 2</em></a> or even <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/super-street-fighter-iv"><em>Super Street Fighter IV</em></a>.<br />
<br />
However, the "Capcom X Microsoft" wording suggests a project that is a bit more <em>collaborative </em>than, say, a release date for a multiplatform product, so it's possible we're waiting on a new Xbox-exclusive. In any case, it's easy enough to determine what this premiere is all about using the "just wait until January 26" method. That's next Tuesday, by the way.<br />

If you enjoyed the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cowboy_bebop"><em>Cowboy Bebop</em></a>-meets-Master Chief action presented in the first episode of <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/halo-legends"><em>Halo Legends</em></a> (seriously, that main character looked just like Spike Spiegel!), then you may want to check out the second episode of the Spartan-themed anime premiering today on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/halo-waypoint"><em>Halo Waypoint</em></a>. For 24 hours starting at 12:00AM PST (about eight hours ago), Xbox Live Silver and Gold members will be able to access "The Duel" through the "all-things-<em>Halo</em>" hub.<br />
<br />
Microsoft also notes that this will be the last week for Xbox Live Silver members to explore <em>Waypoint</em>, and in turn, enjoy the weekly free episodes of <em>Halo Legends</em>. Though Microsoft has been a bit cagey with a solid release date for the upcoming <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/facebook,@xbox">Facebok/Twitter/Last.Fm update</a> for Xbox Live, eagle-eyed UK readers have spotted the phrase "Service launches 17th November 2009" on the <a href="http://www.xbox.com/en-GB/social/">UK Xbox website</a> (seen above).<br /><br />When we recently got to <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/10/06/hands-on-facebook-twitter-last-fm-and-zune-marketplace-on-xbo/">give the services a spin</a> at Microsoft's First Annual Open House, the company wouldn't give us a set-in-stone release date, though <a href="http://multiplayerblog.mtv.com/2009/10/06/xbox-360-dashboard-update-public-beta-with-facebook-coming-this-month/">MTV Multiplayer</a> were told a public beta for the services would arrive for XBL Gold Members in the "middle-towards-end of October." We've contacted Microsoft for word on when the services will be arriving on this side of the pond, though ... well ... it's the weekend. We'd suggest you don't go holding your breath for that info until Monday.<br /><br />[Thanks, Scump!]<br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/facebook-twitter-on-xbox-360/">Facebook / Twitter on Xbox 360</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/facebook-twitter-on-xbox-360/#2064830"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/06/twitter-xbox-3-1024_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/facebook-twitter-on-xbox-360/#2064829"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/06/twitter-xbox-2-1024_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/facebook-twitter-on-xbox-360/#2064828"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/06/twitter-xbox-1-1024_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/facebook-twitter-on-xbox-360/#2064824"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/06/newsfeedadd-1024_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/facebook-twitter-on-xbox-360/#2064823"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/06/inbox-1024_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/10/10/facebook-and-twitter-arrive-november-17-on-xbox-live-in-the-uk/">Facebook and Twitter arrive November 17 on Xbox Live in the UK</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sat, 10 Oct 2009 13:00:00 EST. We'll admit it -- we spend a lot of time on Xbox Live. Between the weekly teabag quota we're tied to and practicing heavy breathing into microphones, we're required to jump on the service rather often and let all those anonymous folks out there know <em>the truth</em>. Lucky for us, <a href="http://www.cagcast.com">CheapAssGamer</a> podcast host Wombat has recorded a smattering of vitriol-filled messages from our favorite online locale -- messages he received from people he didn't know after being the "featured gamer" on Xbox.com.<br /><br />We'd love to drop a few excerpts from the CAGcast clip into this post, but we couldn't do so without being wildly offensive (to even ourselves!). Hit the break and check out the full 10 minute example of why civility is merely a facade we parade around in our mask-filled society.<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/11/a-great-example-of-the-sterling-behavior-on-xbox-live/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>A great example of the sterling behavior on Xbox Live</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/11/a-great-example-of-the-sterling-behavior-on-xbox-live/">A great example of the sterling behavior on Xbox Live</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 11 Aug 2009 14:30:00 EST. If using a credit card online rubs you the wrong way -- or your extreme laziness prevents you from leaving your home to purchase a points card -- <a href="http://majornelson.com/archive/2009/08/06/pay-pal-now-available-for-us-xbox-live-accounts.aspx">PayPal can now be used</a> to buy Microsoft Points on Xbox.com. There are a few caveats to the new option, however: The new payment method is only available to US residents and will only work through Xbox.com (not your actual console). <br /><br />Users can attach multiple PayPal accounts to their Gamertags and purchase points, which can then be used to purchase content -- like (<a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/06/bioshock-surfaces-on-games-on-demand-costs-30/">the insanely priced</a>) Xbox 360 Games on Demand titles. To add a PayPal account, follow these easy steps:<br />
<ul>
    <li>Sign in to <a href="http://www.xbox.com">Xbox.com</a></li>
    <li>Direct your browser to the <a href="https://www.xbox.com/accounts" target="_blank">Account Summary page</a></li>
    <li>Select "Manage Payment Option"</li>
    <li>Click "Add a new PayPal Account" and follow the onscreen instructions.<br /></li>
</ul>
Your virtual wallet will be filled with Microsoft Funny Money in no time!<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/08/07/psa-paypal-now-works-for-purchases-on-xbox-com/">PSA: PayPal now works for purchases on Xbox.com</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 07 Aug 2009 14:30:00 EST. For all you negative Nancys out there who just <em>couldn't</em> believe it when we told you that <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/halo-wars"><em>Halo Wars</em></a> itself had <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/05/12/new-halo-wars-maps-revealed-by-halo-wars/">revealed some upcoming maps</a>, here's some more proof for you. New achievements have popped up on the Xbox.com <a href="http://live.xbox.com/en-GB/profile/Achievements/ViewAchievementDetails.aspx?tid=%09]:%15%18*iN%08|"><em>Halo Wars</em> page</a> in the UK, and they reveal -- wait for it -- new maps. The names of the maps just so happen to be the very same names we discovered back in May: Barrens, Blood River and Memorial Basin.<br /><br />If you <em>still</em> aren't convinced that new map DLC is on the way, you'll just have to wait for the official announcement. The rest of us will just sit here and act smug for a while.<br /><br />[Thanks, Richard]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/07/06/new-halo-wars-achievements-reveal-new-maps-again/">New Halo Wars Achievements reveal new maps (again)</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 06 Jul 2009 14:00:00 EST. It appears as though Microsoft's plans for an <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/06/01/full-xbox-360-game-downloads-arriving-in-august/">August launch of its Games on Demand service</a> is popping up a bit early. Why just this morning, we spotted a listing for the already confirmed <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/mass-effect"><em>Mass Effect</em></a> (sporting its snazzy <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/05/14/xbox-360-platinum-hits-are-numerous-cheap-rebranded/">new Platinum Hits packaging</a>) in our Xbox.com Marketplace RSS feed. Unsurprisingly, the listing has been removed from the website itself, though RSS feeds won't allow for editing after something has been published.<br /><br />As <a href="http://www.360sync.com/2009/06/20/games-on-demand-title-shows-up-early-pulled">360sync.com</a> rightfully points out, game manuals will be provided virtually through the Xbox.com Marketplace website according to the listing, so you've got that going for ya (<em>which is nice</em>). We're not sure when these puppies are showin' up on XBL for sure, but from the looks of things, we'd say sooner rather than later. For a video tour of the upcoming Games on Demand service, hit the break.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.360sync.com/2009/06/20/games-on-demand-title-shows-up-early-pulled">360sync</a>]<p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/06/20/mass-effect-pops-up-early-on-xbl-games-on-demand-service/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Mass Effect pops up early on XBL Games on Demand service</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/06/20/mass-effect-pops-up-early-on-xbl-games-on-demand-service/">Mass Effect pops up early on XBL Games on Demand service</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sat, 20 Jun 2009 11:30:00 EST. After running into some significant (and now <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/06/18/major-nelson-xbox-live-marketplace-problems-fixed/">fixed</a>) issues on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/xblm">Xbox Live Marketplace</a>, it looks like there are still more kinks to be worked out of Xbox.com since the Xbox Live maintenance earlier this week. Tipster soulpopped reports that secret Achievements are showing up on gamercards, regardless of whether or not you've unlocked them yourself.<br /><br />Specifically, the new Xbox.com shows three of the most recent Achievements unlocked on any person's gamercard. If one of those three Achievements happens to be secret, it will still show the full achievement description and image, even if the person viewing it hasn't unlocked it. If, however, you open the "Compare Games" section, the achievement is simply listed as "Secret," as it's supposed to be. If you're still confused, check out the images in the gallery below for a more detailed example.<br /><br />We haven't been able to replicate the bug, as there's a slim chance that one of the three most recent Achievements unlocked by someone happens to be secret, but it's still worth noting if you absolutely hate to see any part of the gaming experience spoiled.<br /><br />We asked Major Nelson if Microsoft has encountered this (admittedly minor) issue. We'll update this as soon as we hear anything.<br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/xbox-com-secret-achievement-weirdness/">Xbox.com Secret Achievement Weirdness (6/19/09)</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/xbox-com-secret-achievement-weirdness/#2094838"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/xbox.joystiq.com/media/2009/06/chevo2_thumbnail.jpg" alt="Compare Games section" title="Compare Games section" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/xbox-com-secret-achievement-weirdness/#2094836"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/xbox.joystiq.com/media/2009/06/chevo1_thumbnail.jpg" alt="Gamercard" title="Gamercard" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/06/19/new-xbox-com-spoiling-secret-achievements/">New Xbox.com spoiling secret Achievements</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 19 Jun 2009 15:30:00 EST. It appears the "Games on Demand" section has replaced "Xbox Originals" on Xbox.com marketplace. We're not exactly sure if this is a rebranding of Xbox Originals, but the title of the section would imply that all downloadable games -- which will include <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/06/01/full-xbox-360-game-downloads-arriving-in-august/">Xbox 360 titles in August</a> -- will reside in this section. However, if you click on the "Xbox 360 Games" on the left navigation bar, there's a clearly marked "<a href="http://www.joystiq.com/media/2009/06/fullgamedownloadsection.jpg">Full Game</a>" download section, which is currently empty. Also, Xbox Live Arcade titles have a separate section as well.<br /><br />Perhaps the downloadable Xbox 360 games will reside in two locations on Xbox.com? We've contacted Microsoft for clarification and we'll update as soon as we hear back.<br /><br /><strong>Update</strong>: We're aware the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/xbox-originals">Xbox Originals</a> program has come to an end, we're just caught off guard by the lack of an official statement accompanying the change on Xbox.com (especially with no change on the 360 itself).<br /><br />[Thanks, Nathan]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/06/18/games-on-demand-section-arrives-on-xbox-com/">'Games on Demand' section arrives on Xbox.com</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 18 Jun 2009 10:55:00 EST. If you've logged on to the My Xbox section of <a href="http://live.xbox.com/en-US/default.aspx">Xbox.com</a> today, you probably noticed that it's received a little face-lift since <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/06/15/reminder-xbox-live-down-tomorrow/">yesterday's maintenance</a>. There aren't any major new features -- and none were promised -- but the layout has changed to gel a little bit more with the look of the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/NXE/">NXE</a>. As you can see in the image above, the main My Xbox page shows off your <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/avatars">Avatar</a> as well as the Avatars and Live status of a few of your friends. If you mouse over a friend, a window pops up allowing you to do things like sending a message or checking out your buddy's gamerscore.<br /><br />As we said, nothing monumental, but a decent improvement. Head over to Xbox.com and check it out. Incidentally, we encountered some bugs with the site -- weird formatting, Avatars not loading, etc. -- but we imagine those will be ironed out soon enough.<br /><br />[Thanks to everyone who sent this in!]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/06/17/xbox-com-gets-redesigned-my-xbox-section/">Xbox.com gets redesigned My Xbox section</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 17 Jun 2009 13:00:00 EST. Though we've known about <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/lego-rock-band/">Lego Rock Band</a></em> -- more or less, that is -- since <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/01/03/rumor-travellers-tales-working-on-lego-rock-band/">early this year</a>, an <a href="http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/l/legorockband/">Xbox.com listing</a> for the game has revealed a few more tidbits to satiate our non-stop hunger for more info on the title. For starters, the game's progression has been revealed as incorporating the Lego theme with collectible Lego pieces that will allow you to, "build cooler vehicles and move to new venues." Furthermore, an extra easy (<em>totally for babies</em>) difficult setting has been added to the game for the ... <em>ahem</em> ... less than face-meltingly-advanced <em>Rock Band-</em>ers in our lives.<br /><br />To add even more Lego flavor to the mix, the game will feature challenges that allow you to "destroy a giant robot, summon a storm, and demolish a skyscraper." One important bullet-point glaringly missing from all news on the game (and its <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/the-beatles-rock-band/">Beatles-themed brethren</a>, for that matter) is the ability to <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/07/15/harmonix-clarifies-rb1-compatibility-to-rock-band-2/">export the songs into <em>Rock Band 2</em></a>, a la <em>Rock Band 1</em>'s tracks. We've put in a note to publisher <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/mtv-games">MTV Games</a> for clarification on this and will keep you updated if and when we hear more info.<br /><br />[Via <a href="http://www.destructoid.com/destroy-giant-robots-in-lego-rock-band-wait-what--129579.phtml">Destructoid</a>]<br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/lego-rock-band/">Lego Rock Band</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/lego-rock-band/#1508107"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/04/lrb_screen11_wave3-1024a_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/lego-rock-band/#1508106"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/04/lrb_screen09_crop_wave3-1024a_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/lego-rock-band/#1508105"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/04/lrb_screen05_wave3-1024a_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/lego-rock-band/#1508104"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/04/lego-rock-band-logo-1024_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/lego-rock-band/#1507884"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2009/04/lego-rock-band-1024_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/04/22/details-build-on-lego-rock-band-rock-challenges-not-for-squar/">Details build on Lego Rock Band, 'rock challenges' not for squares</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 22 Apr 2009 18:33:00 EST. Much like Xbox.com's fiction about an <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/02/17/also-this-wednesday-exit-2-escapes-to-xbla/"><em>Exit 2</em></a> release today, it was apparently also being a lying liar telling fibs about <a href="http://joystiq.com/tag/galactrix"><em>Galactrix</em></a>'s release next week. <a href="http://www.siliconera.com/2009/02/18/puzzle-quest-galactrix-not-confirmed-for-xbox-live-arcade-next-week/">Siliconera</a> spoke to a representative for redundant publisher, D3 Publisher, which informed the site it had "not confirmed" a date for the XBLA version of the crack-infused RPG puzzler.<br /><br />Sure enough, changing from <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2009/02/17/xbox-com-lists-puzzle-quest-galactrix-for-feb-25/">yesterday</a>, the <a href="http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/p/pqgalactrixxboxlivearcade/">Xbox.com page</a> now notes that <em>Galactrix</em>'s release is T and B to the D (i.e. to be determined). <div align="left">Hey kids, remember the Xbox.com maintenance that went on earlier today? Oh, you say you were asleep. Well, it's not a big deal or anything, but we thought we would inform you that your <a href="http://live.xbox.com/en-US/profile/profile.aspx?pp=0&amp;GamerTag=SenseiRAM">Xbox.com profile page</a> now displays your <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/Avatars/">Avatar</a> (assuming you have the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/NXE/">NXE</a>, of course). That's about it, really. As far as we can tell, the Xbox.com Marketplace still isn't open for business, so don't go thinking you can start blowing your Microsoft Points at work just yet. We expect that an any other major changes to Xbox.com will launch tomorrow alongside the NXE.<br /><br />[Thanks CapnJunkie]</div>

<div align="left"><strong>Update:</strong> Aaaaaand it's back. Bet you didn't even notice.</div>
<br /></div>
Just a quick public service announcement: Major Nelson informs us that Xbox.com as well as the Xbox.com forums will be <a href="http://majornelson.com/archive/2008/11/17/xbox-com-maintenance-11-18.aspx">down for maintenance</a> on November 18 from 12:01am PT until 4:00am PT. The maintenance, as you may have guessed, is being done in preparation for the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/nxe">New Xbox Experience</a>, which launches this Wednesday. Major Nelson stresses (in big, angry red letters, no less) that Xbox Live will <em>not</em> be down during this time, but who's to say, really? After all, aliens could attack, which we're pretty sure would render Xbox Live inoperable. So let's just say Xbox Live isn't <em>scheduled</em> to be down tomorrow.<br /><br />[Original image: <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/hypertypos/2471386354/">hypertypos</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/11/17/psa-xbox-com-not-xbox-live-down-nov-18/">PSA: Xbox.com (NOT Xbox Live) down Nov. 18 [update]</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 17 Nov 2008 18:15:00 EST. Savvy gamers are already aware that gold obtained in <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/fable-2-pub-games">Fable II Pub Games</a></em> for the Xbox Live Arcade can be transferred to their characters in <em><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/Fable-2">Fable II</a></em> -- which releases today. While we've told you how it's done we thought we'd create a quick tutorial video and show you the quick and painless process. Also, make sure to check out <a href="http://www.fable2.com">Fable2.com</a> (part of Xbox.com) and to win gold and items for your characters within <em>Fable II</em>. This video also walks you through the steps of obtaining those bonuses as well. During the Xbox Live service maintenance yesterday <a href="http://www.xbox.com">Xbox.com</a> dropped off and back on Planet Internet. While we were aware the update to Xbox Live was simply back end additions in preparation of the next dashboard, the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/tag/NXE/">NXE</a>, few people expected a major complaint would be addressed for Microsoft's Xbox site. During the Xbox.com redesign a few months ago Microsoft decided to separate friends through multiple pages instead of keeping the Friends List to one long list. Well, by popular demand, the separated friends pages have been removed and everyone you know and game with is on the same page when you log into your account on Xbox.com. It's a small change but we're happy. What changes would you like to see on Xbox.com come time for the New Xbox Experience?<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/09/30/xbox-com-shifts-friends-list-back-to-single-page/">Xbox.com shifts friends list back to single page</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 30 Sep 2008 12:00:00 EST. <br />Curious how Microsoft's <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/06/26/fix-your-xbla-drm-mess-microsoft-drm-tool-now-available/">now available Xbox Live DRM tool</a> works, but don't want to futz through it on your own? Well, we've got two solutions: first, sift through our gallery of the service's various screens by clicking on the above image; second, have the affable Major Nelson hold your hand through the entire thing, in video format after the break. Two great tastes that taste great (or at least show you how to fix DRM-isses on a video game console) together. <br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/xbox-com-drm-tool/">Xbox.com DRM tool</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/xbox-com-drm-tool/#885311"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2008/06/xbox-live-drm-tool1_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/xbox-com-drm-tool/#885313"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2008/06/xbox-live-drm-tool2_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/xbox-com-drm-tool/#885314"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2008/06/xbox-live-drm-tool3_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/photos/xbox-com-drm-tool/#885312"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.joystiq.com/media/2008/06/xbox-live-drm-tool4_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><p><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/06/26/see-how-the-xbox-drm-tool-works-in-photos-and-video/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>See how the Xbox DRM tool works, in photos and video</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/06/26/see-how-the-xbox-drm-tool-works-in-photos-and-video/">See how the Xbox DRM tool works, in photos and video</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 26 Jun 2008 15:20:00 EST. <div align="left">Y'know, this seems familiar. Hmm ...<a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/06/04/frogger-2-and-commando-3-xbox-com-pages-appear/"> </a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/06/04/frogger-2-and-commando-3-xbox-com-pages-appear/">yes it does</a>. While we already knew the solid release date of <em><a href="http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/h/htffaxboxlivearcade/"><em>Happy Tree Friends: False Alarm</em></a></em> (June 25), <em><a href="http://www.xbox.com/en-us/games/t/tickettoridexboxlivearcade/"><em>Ticket to Ride</em></a></em> has been something of an unknown quantity, with not much information about the game having ever been relased to the press. However, <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/06/04/frogger-2-and-commando-3-xbox-com-pages-appear/">the last time</a> xbox.com pages appeared for unreleased XBLA games, they released exactly one week later. And with <em>HTF</em>:<em>FA</em> definitely hitting next week, we think we can say with some certainty that the electronic adaptation of the classic board game about building railroads will be hitting next week too. To tide you over until then, marvel at the screenshots below. <br /><br /><br /><br /></div>

As the reviews slowly roll in and decisions are made about whether or not to purchase the game, <em>Ninja Gaiden 2</em>'s demo has yet to see release to the Marketplace. For <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/03/27/ninja-gaiden-ii-demo-slashes-xblm-in-may/">some time now</a>, the game's <a href="http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/splash/n/ninjagaiden2/">xbox.com page</a> had <a href="http://i26.tinypic.com/dwv0hd.jpg">a message</a> for its readers, telling them to: "Get your hands on the free demo coming to Xbox LIVE Marketplace in May."<br /><br />While it is true that May isn't over until the end of the week, the xbox.com page no longer has the message promising the demo's arrival, and instead points readers to the <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/05/15/ask-a-ninja-promotes-ninja-gaiden-ii/">Ask a Ninja</a> videos. This could mean a host of things really: the demo has been held up, or it's not coming at all, or it's coming but the page has been changed early. In all honesty we hope for the latter, because after getting our <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/05/14/x3f-impressions-ninja-gaiden-2/">hands on it</a> we can't wait to do it again!<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2008/05/27/ng2-xbox-com-page-updated-no-more-demo/">NG2 xbox.com page updated; no more demo?</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 27 May 2008 23:00:00 EST. Yes, it's much more gray colored and curvy, but what you'll also notice is that all the "My Xbox" activities are placed in a handy drop-down menu as well as all the other expandable options on the site. Transparent drop-down boxes are delicious! They also integrated <a href="http://www.live.com/">Live search</a> into the site for (hopefully) smarter searching. Point your browser over to Xbox.com to see all the pretty new visual enhancements and see if you can find compatibility issues with your browser of choice. Now that sounds like real entertainment.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/06/26/xbox-com-gets-a-facelift-and-some-botox/">Xbox.com gets a facelift and some Botox</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Tue, 26 Jun 2007 11:00:00 EST. And even though this year's E3 has shrunk a little, Microsoft will still be giving gamers and insider's look into what E3 2007 has to offer. <a href="http://www.xbox.com/en-US/community/events/e32007/default.htm">Xbox @ E3</a> will feature trailers, on demand service, blogs and other media on Xbox.com and presumably over Xbox Live. Currently, they have some content up including a look at how the new <a href="http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/gamegurus/ryan/2007/0620-anticipatingnewlook.htm">mini E3</a> benefits everyone and a <a href="http://www.xbox.com/en-US/community/events/e32007/articles/mustseelist2007.htm">must see list</a> that hints at the <em>Halo 3</em> campaign being demoed at the conference. Take a gander through the current Xbox @ E3 goods and countdown the days to an exciting E3. Bring it on!<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/06/22/microsoft-preps-xbox-com-for-e3-coverage/">Microsoft preps Xbox.com for E3 coverage</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 22 Jun 2007 15:30:00 EST. To win, you have to prove to the judges why your father figure is the ultimate gaming dad. If he pwns with the best of them, is patient with noobs, is a good loser, or has taught you all you know about gaming be sure to enter and tell them about your gaming dad. One winner will receive an Xbox 360, HD DVD player, wireless racing wheel, an accessory kit, and be labeled the Xbox Dad of the Year. And if your father isn't exactly the gaming type don't fret. You still have plenty of time to teach him your gaming ways or adopt a new dad for the month, because you have until June 9th to enter. Good luck!<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/30/win-gaming-prizes-in-xbox-dad-of-the-year-contest/">Win gaming prizes in Xbox Dad of the Year contest</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 30 May 2007 13:00:00 EST. The source, a supposedly translated piece from the magazine's article posted on the <a href="http://forums.xbox.com/12756627/ShowPost.aspx">Xbox.com</a> forums. Well, we have, and thanks to Major Nelson's input and the tech guys who run Xbox.com they implemented a cool little <a href="http://www.majornelson.com/archive/2007/03/30/hey-where-is-the-gamer-picture-from-the-mozilla-edition.aspx">feature</a>. Now, if you hover your cursor over any gamer picture it'll give you a little more information to what game or picture pack it comes from. This feature is now fully supported by numerous browsers including IE, Firefox, and Opera. Just look for the alt tag to expand with the text or check your status bar for the gamer picture information. True, it's nothing huge, but is one of those nifty little feature that's cool to have and know about. Thanks Xbox.com team, you guys (and gals) are number one in our book.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/03/31/wheres-that-gamer-picture-from/">Where's that gamer picture from?</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sat, 31 Mar 2007 16:00:00 EST. On Tuesday, March 27th from 3:00AM EST to 5:00PM EST (that's 14 hours) Xbox Live, Xbox.com, and the Xbox Forums will be down and unavailable. Major is also making it clear that this is only internal maintenance and no new dashboard update will be released during this time. Though, we can expect a new dash update later this Spring. Come next Tuesday you'll have plenty of time to clean your room, wax your car, stare at the ceiling or complete a few tasks that <a href="http://www.xbox.com/en-US/community/news/2007/0322-xboxoffline.htm">Xbox.com</a> recommends. Over on the <a href="http://www.xbox.com/en-US/community/events/gdc2007/default.htm">GDC section</a> of Xbox.com you'll find a bunch of downloads for games like <em>Forza 2</em>, <em>Blue Dragon</em>, <em>Mass Effect</em> and <em>Shadowrun</em>. You can download fact sheets, press releases, and screenshots for those games including XBLA games like <em>Schizoid</em>, <em>Eets Chowdown</em>, and <em>Jetpac Refuelled</em>. So much information, so little time ... but get downloading because everyone knows you care.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/03/07/microsofts-gdc-information-blowout/">Microsoft's GDC information blowout!</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 07 Mar 2007 14:00:00 EST. First up is the announcement of <a href="http://www.xbox.com/en-GB/news-features/news/scissorsisters_soundtrack.htm">Xbox Soundtracks</a> which will be launching in May (possibly Europe only?) where you'll be able to download video game trailers, add your music to it, and upload it to Xbox.com. Community members will then be able to vote on their favs where you'll become a semi-instant not-so-much celeb. To kick off the Xbox Soundtracks program the Scissor Sisters mixed the <em>Halo Wars</em> trailer with their re-mixed version of "She's My Man". Other goods include an <a href="http://www.xbox.com/en-GB/news-features/news/scissorsisters_interview.htm">interview</a> with the band and one big <a href="http://www.xbox.com/en-GB/news-features/news/xboxboarded.htm">Xbox 360 ruler</a> ... check it out if this is your ball of wax.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/03/01/new-big-day-out-2007-media-including-the-scissors/">New Big Day Out 2007 media including the Scissors</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Thu, 01 Mar 2007 15:45:00 EST. So, when we cracked the Xbox.com <a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/01/23/xbox-com-no-messages-mystery-who-are-you/">no message mystery</a> we were rightfully proud of ourselves, giving up the high-fives around Fanboy Towers. But we didn't uncover all of the truth, because the "Bear" gamertag eluded us and as a result ended up with a mediocre report. That is until now, where we recently discovered (via Major Nelson's <strike>podcast</strike> <a href="http://www.majornelson.com/archive/2007/02/18/show-212-the-one-about-crackdown.aspx">blogcast</a>) that Bear is really Scott Henson! Ha Scotty, and you thought you could just keep on running didn't you? And so you know, Mr. Henson is the director of Microsoft's Game Technology Group and is actually one cool dude. Chalk another successful investigation for team Xbox 360 Fanboy ... because we're like mini Sherlock Fishers, remember?<br /><br />[Thanks, Iced_Eagle]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/02/19/xbox-com-no-message-mystery-part-deux/">Xbox.com no message mystery: Part deux</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Mon, 19 Feb 2007 19:30:00 EST. It's only three hours and will be transparent to pretty much everyone in North America, but it's nice to get the heads up. This is strictly a maintenance and will not have any new features added to xbox.com, Xbox Live or your Xbox 360 Dashboard. Thankfully it doesn't last too long, nor does it take place at an inopportune time that will impede on some <em>Crackdown</em> co-op goodness.<br />

For those of you who are less than impressed ... just move along, stay clear of the grills, drop the booze, and avoid anyone wearing face paint.<br /><br />[Thanks, Jonah]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2007/02/03/brady-quinn-joins-team-xbox-360/">Brady Quinn joins team Xbox 360</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Sat, 03 Feb 2007 21:15:00 EST. Go to "<a href="http://www.xbox.com/en-US/myxbox/myprofile.htm?WT.svl=nav">My Xbox</a>" tab on Xbox.com An interactive window with a bunch of gamerpics will show up. Click on any one of them, except for the middle one, to bring up a point-and-read tutorial of XBL basics. Notice that each one says "Playing <em>Halo 6</em>, Death Island, 2 minutes left." Is this somone's idea of <em>Halo</em> humor? Don't they know that the mere mention of the world <em>Halo</em> followed by a number could launch a thousand phony ilovebees knock-offs.<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/10/20/halo-6-now-playing-on-xbox-com/">"Halo 6" now playing on Xbox.com</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Fri, 20 Oct 2006 01:30:00 EST. So... what are we looking at? Background downloading? Revised Dashboard? Maybe, just maybe, some pre-E3
goodies laying dormant on our consoles, awaiting the signal from Redmond HQ to activate their super-advanced
features?<br /><br />Nope, it's a message center, adding onto Xbox.com's friends management <a
href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/03/28/add-delete-xbl-friends-with-a-mouse-click/">update</a> last month. The new
message center will allow gamers to read messages sent from a console to Xbox.com if you have an Xbox.com only or a
Silver account, both ways with a Gold account, but only up to 200 messages per day...that's 200 if they're on your
friends list but 25 if they're not. <br /><br />Yeah, we know, it's a little confusing. Lucky for us, someone at
Microsoft anticipated our dilemma and created a lovely chart to keep it all in order for us. Lucky for you, we're
willing to decipher it for you: pony up for a Gold Xbox Live account or this feature won't do you much good.<br /><br
/>Major Nelson has added some shots of the new services to <a
href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/majornelson/sets/72057594123700012/">his Flickr stream</a>. Check em out, if you're
into checking out steamy shots of software interfaces, like we are. <br /><br />[Thanks everyone that sent this in]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ffffcc;border:1px solid #ffff99;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.joystiq.com"><img src="http://www.joystiq.com/media/feedlogo.gif" alt="Joystiq" style="float:left;padding:0 5px 5px 0;" /></a><a href="http://www.joystiq.com/2006/05/03/xbox-live-returns-with-message-center-integration/">Xbox Live returns with Message Center integration</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.joystiq.com">Joystiq</a> on Wed, 03 May 2006 11:57:00 EST.
